    @kristimh80 They actually did send all the needles, but no syringes so nothing to attach the needles to, lol. I picked the syringes up tonight aaaannnnd they are the wrong kind so I can’t attach them to the Q-caps. Le sigh. That’s what I get for requesting them through my local pharmacy and not the speciality pharmacy. Luckily I have an appointment tomorrow so hopefully can sort that out.

    @Bababatty Oh no!! Hope you can get it worked out ASAP!! Wish you were close by, I'm sure I have some syringes for q-caps left with my leftover menopur.

    @mrsa2017 Best of luck tomorrow!!!

    @Bababatty That is a seriously impressive post - you got all of us in there :) !! Glad to hear you're on this train again now. I would have lost my life if I looked down and saw no syringes though - I'm so glad you had some at home - many people wouldn't!! GL with your stimming.
    @Ilky Yeah I know - you're at the tough part now. Try to relax as much as is possible - you've done most of the hard work at this stage - just a few more days to get through <3<3
    @Elle131 That must have been quite scary! Glad you had a chance to talk to your doc - and 8 follies at this stage is great :) Hope things go smoother for you from now xx
    @mrsa2017 Best of Luck Today!!!

    Good luck with ERs ladies!

    @sparkle0404 Wow transfer time! So exciting. How did you decide to transfer two embryos? My doctor advised us to transfer two and I was surprised because it's our first try and I'm only 34 so I thought they'd start with one. I'd be delighted if we had twins but I'm still worried about possible risks  :/

    @Bababatty
     Yay stimming buddies! Feeling any side effects? That's annoying about the syringes, extra hassle is not what we need! My syringes came with the Menopur but the dosage is marked at 75iu, 150iu and half way in between, whereas my dose is 125iu so I have to kind of guess. Hopefully it won't make much difference.

    @roisis that's great news! How many do you expect to transfer for FET?

    I'm 34, SO 39

    @roisis Wonderful news!! Are you doing a fresh transfer or frozen? I'm sure you've said so, but I can't remember :) Wasn't sure if you had to wait much longer.

    @kristimh80 I'm doing frozen transfer - had bad OHSS last time to had to freeze at last minute (literally found out on day of transfer), so that was disappointing - but at least I know this time :) I only 1 embryo from 4 fertilised eggs to blast last time around, so I'm still a little nervous. It's funny how you get good news and it's like 'Yaaaaaaaaayyyy!!!' for all of 5 minutes before you start to fret about the next stage!
    @Orlaa I don't know how many we'll be transferring. At our original consult our doc said he generally prefers only to transfer 1 - particularly if that is a high grade, but if there a re multiples at ~BC he might transfer 2. Although that might have been for fresh transfer only - I'm not sure. I'll talk to him on Thursday about it and get back to you xx

    @roisis Oh I know, right?! I was just talking to my doctor about that yesterday. I was like...I always want to get over 1 thing. She's like yeah I hate to tell you...it doesn't get any better later on! You get preg, then just want to get to 12 weeks, then if have twins want to make it to 20 weeks. Always something lol

    Hello!

    @mrsa good luck with the retrieval today and @sparkle0404 good luck with the transfer today! So exciting.
    @roisis I hope you're recovering from your retrieval yesterday- its awesome you got 8 fertilized! How are you feeling now?
    @christenma83 how are you feeling before your retrieval tomorrow? Being caring and also want to know what to expect when it's my time ;)
    @Bababatty its great you were able to get started!

    @kristimh80 that's great you sent 6 for PGS testing. We are doing that too when the time comes. How long does it take for you all?

    I'm on day 5 of stims and doing okay. Saw RE yesterday and will go again tomorrow for monitoring. They said I was getting a little dehydrated so I am focusing on drinking my no cal no sugar electrolyte powder w/ water and more water and taking care of myself. I made it to the gym in the middle of the day yesterday for work lunch hoping it would help my mood and my body process all these hormones but not sure I'll be able to get there again until after ER. I'm starting to feel- full? They said everything is moving along at an expected rate and kept my dosage the same.

    Anyone else right smack in the middle of stims? La la la.

    @mrsa2017 That's so awesome!!! Happy for you!!! <3

    @greenhillgirl They said PGS can be 10 - 14 days, but my dr made it should like maybe a week, so may just depend on the lab itself. I've heard some labs do a quick turn around for fresh transfers as well.

    @kristimh80 I'm so happy for you! yay! finally moving forward. Will you get to choose whether you want 1 or 2 implanted?

    @roisis that's great number! when will they finalize the PGS testing results?

    @greenhillgirl I had 9 days of stims and dont even have that many follicles but I'm feel very full, bloated and crampy lol. As long as we get as many as possible, healthy and mature eggs, than it will all be worth it. I've been drinking coconut water and planning on taking activated charcoal to help with things.

    @mrsa2017 so happy for you! great number! good luck with fertilization and blast!

    AFM, I went in again today and there now seems to be 8 follies around 16mm. The dr. said ER possibly Sunday or Monday but I'm worried if he leaves them too long and overcook them :/ Read many ladies have trigger when their eggs about 20mm.

    @Ilky Thank you!! Yes, we can course either. But since have 2, we'll do 1 at a time. Unless my husband gets some wild hair and changes his mind lol Can you call a nurse with your concerns? I'm surprised they didn't lower your medicine amount for that reason alone. You don't want to stims too short of a time, but if you are already at Day 9 or stims, I'd think ER would be sooner too.

    @kristimh80 What great news! It must be a relief to know you’ve got the 2 normies!

    @roisis Great fert report!!

    @Ilky I’d probably say something to your RE. My current RE expressed concern that my last RE overcooked my eggs since I had a number of follies at 22 and got so few eggs relative to the number of mature follies I had. It’s worth bringing up your concern and getting his/her reasoning, if only for peace of mind.

    @sparkle0404 Congratulations on being PUPO!

    @heddamae Glad to hear all looks good!

    @mrsa2017 Congratulations on a successful ER! I can’t imagine a better place to recuperate.

    AFM I had bloodwork done today and all is well. Continuing at the same dosage, back in tomorrow for u/s and more blood. My nurse gave me a giant bag of syringes and I handed off the bad ones, so I’m finally set syringe-wise.  :D

    @kristimh80 2 little girls - that's fantastic news! I'm delighted for you :) And men always think they want boys - but just wait til he has a 'Daddy's little girl' wrapping him around her finger ;)
    @mrsa2017 16 eggies!!!! Yay - that is the most awesome number of eggs to get ever ;) GL for the fertilisation report today xxx How are you feeling?
    @Ilky I'm normally a fan of saying 'Trust your clinic' but as others have said - that does actually sound like quite a long time to wait for ER, considering you already have some decent follies. Maybe give them a call and have a chat? They might have their reasons. GL xxx
    @sparkle0404 Congrats on being PUPO!! Definitely the TWW is one of the hardest parts. There's no way around it. Try to keep yourself busy if you can and split up the time into do-able things - even if it's just coffee with friends or a dentist appointment (yuk - but effectively distracting!! - while avoiding x-rays obviously!), treat yourself to a show or a spa treatment - anything to just fill up your calendar. <3

    I'm still feeling quite bloated today and found it hard to sleep last night. Not quite sure if this is the OHSS again or not - I guess I'll find out tomorrow. @Ilky I'm not doing PGS testing - it's not usually done here unless you have a history of multiple m/c,  so I'll just have to hope for the best with whatever gets to blast.
    And Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!!!  I normally don't go in for hallmark-holidays - but myself and DH figure that considering how tough things have been, it's a good idea to just have a day to appreciate having each other <3
    Don't forget - whoever wants to can update their own progress on the joint spreadsheet: February Progress Spreadsheet  It makes it easy to see where everyone is at a glance - particularly now that we're all really in the middle of it :)

    Ooh, I hope you recover well @roisis and @mrsa2017 and to everyone who is waiting for stims to complete or results we're all with you!

    I woke up at 1am when DH gets home from work and heard him whisper, lovingly, Happy Valentine's Day. It turns out he was talking to his kitten, snuggling and kissing her. He needs a baby! Haha. <3

    Question for you veterans- do hormones from stims make your pee darker even if you're not dehydrated? I had day 6 monitoring this morning and did tell them how bloated and out of it I've been feeling the last 2+ days. I met with a nurse today and just told her what's up with me and asked for more specifics. I'll get results later but everything is looking average for timing. It's the second time they told me maybe I'm dehydrated cause of my symptoms. I'm prone to dehydration when sick and am half way through my second Vitamin Water and just can't seem to stay hydrated. I keep getting leg cramps, too.  Could it just be that my pee is darker because of the hormones and I'm not dehydrated? Anything else I should be doing other than guzzling electrolytes?

    P.S. How will I make it 6 more days? My belly sits on my thighs when I sit down now.  :s

    Dropping in briefly with my post retrieval report.  Only 9 eggs so I'm a bit disappointed since it's about half what we were expecting based on the monitoring appointments. The doc said the other follicles just didn't have as many cells as they were expecting. Will get the fertilization report in the morning. This result makes me rethink pgs testing which we weren't previously planning to do. Will know more after the fertilization report tomorrow.

    @greenhillgirl It sounds a lot like dehydration. I'd probably start on upping you water with electrolytes and gatorade now because you don't want that issue when you get to retrieval. You want to be pretty hydrated during that time and after.

    @ChristenMA83 Don't get down, 9 is  great! You want quality over quanity! I retrieved 50 eggs and only 6 made it to day 5 - 6 to freeze. I would have much rather had a less # and healthy one's!

    @roisis I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so uncomfortable.  I really hope it's not OHSS!

    @greenhillgirl OMG I could totally see DH doing that to our cats.  They've both decided he's their human and he's definitely not doing anything to dissuade them.  He'll stand there giving the kitten treats and then ask why I haven't--umm because everytime I turn around you've got a kitten in one arm and a treat in the other. ;-)  As for the question about the hormones, I haven't noticed any difference in my urine or hydration.  I didn't know dehydration was a potential side effect!  I'm sorry you're having such a hard go of it.

    @ChristenMA83 Hugs!  The same thing happened to me on my first IVF cycle.  I know how frustrating and disappointing that is.  I really hope you get a good fert report tomorrow.  It's definitely worth asking at a future appointment what they think went wrong and what could be done differently.  Not all follies have eggs in them, it turns out, but getting only half sounds like something's up with the stim cycle--at least that's how my current RE feels.

    @shaelan Congratulations on the 3 blasts!  FX for your PGS report.  Keep us updated!

    AFM I had bloodwork and u/s today.  There's nothing to see yet, but I appreciate all the extra monitoring anyway.  *TW* could do with less toddlers/babies in the waiting room, though.  This is a fertility clinic so there's really no excuse.

    Hey ladies I am doing better than yesterday. The cramping hasn't let up yet so I have DH rubbing my stomach and using my heating pad every hour for some relief. I started rectal suppositories this morning (yuck) for progesterone. They call it a different name tho.

    Oh and the babysitter call 11 out of 16 fertilized,  Yaaay!

    @roisis what are the OHSS symptoms? I'm just chugging coconut water. They sell them by the loads here in Barbados.

    @ChristenMA83 keep your head up love,  you never know. You can end up with 6 or 7 embryos. Don't give up on your babies  <3

    Can't believe I'll be PUPO in 4 days..  The anxiety!

    @mrsa2017 what an amazing fert report! Congratulations! I’m sorry you’re still not feeling well. That’s not a fun way to spend your IVF vacation. Are you doing the transfer down there, too?

    @Bababatty yeah.  We transfer on Sunday and head home first thing Monday morning.

    @sparkle0404 lucky you. I am sticking things in the front and back for the next couple weeks.

    Hoping my embabies keep pushing. Next report is tomorrow and Friday but then none again til Sunday. Can anyone tell me how acupuncture feels? I scheduled that for pre and post transfer.

    *lurking* @mrsa2017 great fertilization report! Rooting for you. I got OHSS so just make sure to drink electrolytes and rest up. Acupuncture isn’t too bad. Kind of relaxing. :) can’t wait to hear more updates!
    TTC 4 years. 7 failed IUI's with either Clomid, Femara and/or Trigger Shots. Started IVF journey in February 2017. Polyps removed in May. 1st IVF Transfer September 26th. BFP. Expected due date 6/14/18. Baby boy born 5/25/18 at 6 lb 9 oz. My bundle of joy.

    Hi ladies, I’m sort of back.  Been lurking though there’s still a lot of activity on which for me to catch up.  AF came yesterday (always 10 days after ER for me), so I’ll start stimming again tomorrow.

    Not quite sure where I belong - I’m stimming for IVF #6 (ugh, I can’t believe this is #6), but if this cycle looks anything like last cycle did at trigger (which is likely - baseline AFC of 5+6 vs 4+8 last cycle), we’ll make it IUI #1 (at my age of 40 and based on my last result my RE is okay with up to like 10 for me since it’s highly unlikely I’d get pregnant with triplets or something).  The whole reason we did IVF was to PGS to try to reduce the risk of another *TW* loss, but even that didn’t save us from our last *TW* loss, so DH and I wanted to try something different.  I also happened to already have all the drugs except the hgh (hopefully coming tomorrow).  I know IUI has terrible odds (but my insurance will cover as many of them as we want...), but I figured I’d use up the drugs we have, and if this doesn’t work, we’ll probably go back to transferring our 4.5 (the .5 is a mosaic) remaining normals (one at a time).

    It was a little shocking to go from 33R, 18F, 10B, and 4 PGS normals back in September to 17R, 4 fertilized, and zero blasts this last round.  Hoping for better this cycle!

    Welcome back @Artemis618. I’d love to have you stick around. There was a woman on my summer board who ended up changing to IUI but everything leading up is the same as IVF and it’s great having you here. Hopefully this cycle will go better for you and you’ll get better retrieval and blast numbers this time.

    @mrsa2017 Amazing fert report!! Congrats! Glad you're feeling a little better - if it is easing it probably isn't OHSS - I remember feeling progressively worse as each day passed. In a nutshell it feels like you've grown a foot in your stomach and it's continuously pressing on your bladder. I actually thought I had a UTI - I just felt like I had to pee all the time and got no relief when I went - actually it kinda hurt. But I didn't have the burning sensation your get with a UTI ( this was explained to me in the pharmacy and I ended up in tears in the middle of the store - not my finest hour!). It's just really really bad bloating and it makes you feel miserable - like your insides are just caught in a knot. I really hope you don't get it - but bear in mind it's not the end of the world if you do <3 Oh - and I had accu from a friend last time - it's generally not painful, can be very relaxing. I didn't get to do it yet, but I think I will go back for more when I get to FET stage.
    @ChristenMA83 Congrats on getting through your ER <3 I know it can be disappointing to get less than you had hoped - but 9 is not a bad number at all! As others have said - it's all about quality - and you can easily get a few good embryos from 9 eggs - so don't get disheartened yet! How was your fert report?
    **Waves to lurker @Holls214 - how are you getting on? Come join us - we're a nice bunch ;)
    @Artemis618 Welcome back! I can understand trying for something different at this stage and it sounds like you have a plan <3 Best of luck with your treatment xxx
    @bababatty - that is infuriating having kids in the waiting room! As part of a (rather large!) consent form we had to sign we had to agree not to bring babies/children in to clinic out of respect for the other patients. I understand this may be difficult for people with secondary infertility - but I find it quite a relief - and honestly I assumed all clinics would have a similar policy!
    AFM, I'm actually feeling a lot better this morning - I only feeling a little tender in the tummy. The Wine last night must have cured me - Hurrah for Wine!! I'm heading in to see my doc and waiting on my Day3 report so I'm a little anxious but I actually think I may have dodged the old OHSS this time around. FX!
    GL to everyone <3<3<3
