@Elle131 I thought the same thing and was very scared. Then I told myself, the doctors know what they are doing and I’ve done everything in my power to get to that point. If something like that (very rare) will happen than it’s what it meant to happen and nothing you do will change that. Including worrying and stressing. On the morning of ER I didn’t feel much bloated or even pain I was sure I had already ovulated. But I was NOT! Hang in there and keep your thoughts on the positive things.

Thanks... I still feel bloated and heavy but my nipples are killing me... I’ll update you ladies tomorrow... I’m staying positive

@greenhillgirl congrats! That’s great news! Does your doctor send the embryoes for PGS right after fertilization? Mine waits till day 5 or 6 and then performs the biopsy for Pgs.

I just realized that my name changed. I had tried to change it when I originally started posting. 
AFM. I have 2 pgs normals and period started today. RE said it takes about 6 weeks to get to transfer. I guess you guys will be transferring earlier than me. What kind of protocol do you guys do?

@Elle131  my nipples felt the same way I think it’s just your estrogen climbing higher. Also once you trigger you’re nearing ovulation but it hasn’t happened yet. I bet you’ll be fine!!!

@Ilky ah yes that makes more sense! We didn’t hear about fertilization today anyway so I guess tomorrow.

@orlaa Try not to worry (if I've caught you before you go to ER). As others have said - there is still time for eggs to grow as you trigger - doc is probably worried both about OHSS and over-cooking the eggs. I know it's frustrating but it's best to trust they know when it is best to take you in. It's weird - we judge this process by so many little milestones (AFC, how many follies, how many big follies, how many eggs - matured - fertilised, then embabies at day 2/3/5/6, snowbabies, then pgs) and the truth is, it's only the very last result that counts. I don't mean to be a negative - quite the opposite! I just mean that we can get ourselves down at one particular stage but there are so many factors - and things can change at any stage. @ChristanMA83 Ah yeah - delighted you got another little one Oh and I am also sooo determined to lose a few of these extra pounds before transfer. My weights also fluctuated by ~10lbs - and it hasn't actually all shifted yet even with AF. Time for me to get active again!

@mrsa2017 Congrats on getting home (I'd say the last week feels pretty surreal!!) Don't poas too early - if there is any trigger left in your system it could give you a false positive - and that would be the worst thing. I'd wait a week from transfer - does that sound about right to anyone else? Also - can I confirm the 5dp5dt notation - does that mean 5(days passed)5(day transfer)? That's what I always assumed - but I saw some weird ones whereby if that's what it means then some people are having transfers on very strange days!!

@Shae44 congrats on 2!  I had an antagonist protocol for retrieval.  For transfer, he's got me starting estrace on CD1, then later femera, PIO and Prometrium and Medrol.  My clinic batches for retrieval and transfer, so assuming my body and lining react as expected they will schedule me in for week of March 19...if something goes wrong it'll push to the April batch.  This system frustrated me when I was waiting to get started, but now that I'm in it, things are more predictable which is nice.

@roisis back in January I actually stopped my exercise program because sometimes if I'm actively losing weight it really messes with my cycles and I didn't want to risk delays.  Now that that excuse has expired I need to get back at it to.  I have about 5 more pounds to get to pre-stim weight but won't see AF until probably early to mid next week... Do you know yet when you'll transfer (sorry if I forgot)?

Fingers crossed for everyone at all stages of the process.  And thoughts of patience and strength for those in the post-retrieval pre-transfer stage (including myself).

@kristimh80 and @roisis thank you for your positive words, I was pretty worried after the last scan but I realise no matter what the numbers are we can never predict the final outcome. I'm feeling much better after the ER and just hoping for the best.

AFM I had my ER this morning. They retrieved 14 and will let me know how many are fertilised tomorrow.
They'll also let me know if my transfer will be on Saturday or Monday, depending on how the embryos appear I guess.
I'm feeling much more hopeful now
I feel absolutely fine, no pain or anything so I can't complain, although I have to start the progesterone suppositories tonight  I've to use 1 in the morning and 2 at night.
Hard to believe that in a few days round 1 will be over

@orlaa 14 eggies - Yay!! That's a great result Delighted to hear that - best of luck with the fert report tomorrow. Just try to relax now and take care of yourself
@ChristenMA83 I'm kinda the same. Honestly, my weight has always fluctuated but since my first round of IVF last year it just seems to have creeped up steadily (*TW last year has included ivf, ohss, pregnancy, m/c and my FIL passing away very suddenly - dieting was just not a priority at any stage **end TW) I realise the weight is not something I should worry about - I would just like to be as healthy as possible before I (FX!!!!) get pregnant so I'm going to spend the next month eating healthily and getting back into exercise. I'm doing an FET and I started AF this week so I'd say ~4weeks to starting medications and ~6weeks to transfer. But I don't have any formalised plan yet.

@roisis yeah thats 5 days past a 5 day transfer. So my day 5 will be on Friday. I think I will schedule my beta for Tuesday (9dp5dt) just to be safe.
 
AFM.. I'm just resting and waiting. Feels good to be back home and having everyone treat me like I'm made of glass hahahha, that's a first! I feel the pressure to bring our first BFP for this month lol Thank God @Orlaa maybe transferring in a few days so I won't feel so alone  in my TWW. OOOOH I ended up with another snowbaby so I have 3 that went to freeze ... I really really hope these two stick around though. I have calculated my due date already (covers eyes) and started a registry that I keep private.
Now March needs to hurry up so these FET can get on the way and we can all move to the PAIF board.
I will test this weekend, not sure which day tho, but its going down in a few days!

We just got our fertilization report and had 11 mature eggs and all 11 fertilized with ICSI. I’m glad since we’re doing PGS and all won’t be viable. 

@mrsa207 I’m home the day after and DH stayed home with me too. I’m going to call my boss this afternoon and see if I can work from home tomorrow. There’s a big event tomorrow night I’m not working on so I’d like to stay out of the way and be productive from here. We will see what she says.

I have more pain since last night (about 2.5 day past ER), its kind of deep ache similar to some periods. Also, TMI, i started to have some mucusy browny discharge. Are all these normal? I didnt even spot after the surgery so its new. I'm just afraid of infections.

@Ilky  I didn’t experience that. I hope everything is good and it’s just a little something from the procedure because of how they get the eggs. Did you call your nurse?

Hey ladies... I had an afternoon ER, we got 13 eggs.., my ovaries are killing me... before I went under my RE asked me about my fear of pre-ovulation... I was out like a light bulb before the convo finished... I’m home with a heating pad, coconut water, soup and doritos..,

@mrsa2017 yes, I just called the nurse who told me it will get worse before it gets better! Ha! She said day 3-4 after ER are generally more pain. Oh well, I'll suffer through this too...

@Ilky I do remember thinking I hope this dull ache goes away before my transfer like day 3/4 and it did so I'm guessing it does take about 4 days to start to feel like you can walk good without saying ouch by then lol

Hey ladies, it sounds like everyone is moving along. It's been since I said anything the 2ww is just horrible 8dp5dt. Beta test is tomorrow. My RE starts BETAS on the 9th day. POAS today me and DH seen a very faint line.

I got the call this morning, we have 10 embryos!  I'm so happy with the results. Transfer is on Monday so I'm hoping they'll keep growing strong 
@mrsa2017 Looks like I'll be joining you in the TWW. I guess you're going to POAS before then - fingers crossed for you!

I'm starting to feel a bit bloated now but nothing major.
My doctor has put me on sick leave until the transfer so I'm just chilling out with my dog 
Over here you're entitled to 2 weeks sick leave post-transfer to relax and allow time for implantation. I honestly doubt it makes a difference in the end but I'll see what the doctor says on Monday. It might make the TWW seem even longer being at home all day.

Totally over a week late to this party reading everything! Tonight is the big night..day one of stims! I hate to even ask it's been 5 years I forgot how to mix my menopur! If I have to do 75 units of menopur do I draw up only 75 of the liquid to mix then take it all? And no..I did not go to a shot class because I thought doing this 4 times in the past 10 years I should remember...clearly im an idiot. 

I'm doing 75 units of menopur, 150 of follistim. I guess at some point I start ganirelix which I have no clue what that is. 

Also mini vent - this has been the shittiest short week ever. Found out tuesday the group I was hired for was "asked to leave" so I panicked do I have a job. Then my good friend called to say her cancer spread to her spine and sternum and I completely lost my shit at work. So much for being stress free for starting this...any tips on trying to keep the stress low??

@mcgeeva I recommend watching the videos on FreedomTeach. They’re a great refresher. For the Menopur, you draw up 1mg of water. Also, I’m so sorry to hear about your work and your friend. That’s all horrible. So many many many hugs to you!

AFM I liked the hospital where we did the ER this morning so much I want to change OBs so I could go there for L&D.   Putting the cart before the horse, I know.

ER itself was a bit rough in terms of recovery but I’m feeling better now. We got 19 eggs!! I am so thrilled! We’ll hear tomorrow with the fert report.

@mcgeeva There should be instructions on the side. Mine was always 1ml of water / sodium with whatever amount I was mixing. Even if you have 2 doses of menopur, you can just use the normal amount. Lots of good videos online. Hopefully they gave you Q-Caps! Happy Stim Day!

Back to work for me tomorrow for a one day work week  I plan to give it everything and have a productive day before the weekend. I was a bit sore today but no pain reliever and still drinking water and Gatorade until my pee is clear like it usually is!

On Monday I hope to find out how many embryos we can biopsy.

(I couldn’t help it even after all the patience I learned through this process) So yesterday I peed on a cheapie (apparently one of the good ones) and I only looked at it after the 3 minutes and saw just the one line so I said “oh it’s negative” and hid it in a bag and through it in the trash. 
So of course I knew it was too early but still I was bummed. My husband told me not to test yet but I snuck and did it anyway(listen to your DHs,don’t be like me lol). When I got to work my emotions were all over the place and I even blew up on him a bit. Eventually I told him I took the test and it was negative and he said thats why I was acting like that yesterday.
Went to bed last night and dreamt first he told me it was BFP then the second dream it was BFN.
This morning when I got up, my mind told me to go get the test out of the trash and look at it..... Faint line yesterday @ 4dp5dt... And to think I thought it was negative. I learned that I was supposed to actually wait for the pee to dry then look (covers eyes)... I am ecstatic, my first EVER positive HPT! But no testing again until tomorrow, I promise!
