I just made Ghiradelli dark chocolate raspberry brownies. I told myself I wouldn't have one until after dinner...I'm now eating them with a fork directly out of the pan (its 3pm here...)
I'm not eating it yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed H heads my wishes and buys Nutella on the way home. Reeeallly want a spoonful. Or two. And some toast with Nutella. I don't even need dinner, just some Nutella.
I very much want a huge breakfast burrito. This place makes these for the farmers’ market when it’s open and even though I’ve never had one of theirs I woke up this morning randomly thinking about that burrito. I checked their website in the off chance they might serve them in house, but no dice. Just at the market. The worst part? They were at the winter market yesterday. My craving was a day too little too late.
@kfren my child loves those and the sweet potato cauliflower ones. Problem is, they were the bane of my existence in first trimester. I couldn't think about them or even look at them in the store without gagging or actually throwing up. Those and chicken nuggets. My throat's working a little now just talking about them.
Who had something good for the Super Bowl? We are usually pretty healthy but went all out with nachos and pizza. I made buffalo cauliflower “wings” and they were too spicy for me, but MH and DD enjoyed them.
@kfren I may have to get me some of those. My PM snacking is out of control. I need volume. Lots of it. And I'm tired of the same old vegetables. Last night for a snack, I had a piece of cake leftover from the reveal party, 2 cookies and a huge bowl of popcorn. Total fail.
I tried to make up for it with a healthy smoothie bowl I made this morning. Guaranteed I will lose all control by 7pm, though.
@amys614 They are delicious. Six of them equals one serving of broccoli. I feel ya on the fails; I can't stay away from Rice Krispies Treats. BTW: that smoothie bowl looks super yummy!

Also, my doctor commented that I lost weight between appointments and need to start eating more (I'm already overweight, so it's really not that unheard of to lose weight while pregnant, but I digress), so I told H he needs to start indulging all of my cravings. Doctor's orders!
Just finished baking peanut butter cookies. Last week it was chocolate chip. This weekend it was oatmeal bake for the boy. Apparently this pregnancy all I want to do is bake and cook. Last pregnancy I could barely bring myself to prepare food at all. Not because of food aversions either. I just had no desire whatsoever.
@dinodna3 Thanks for sharing that recipe. I was excited because I heard we're getting a no-bake cookie dough store in my city, but you may have just saved me a trip
This probably won't sound good to many of you, but I was craving split pea soup like nobody's business. We made it yesterday and I just had leftovers for lunch. So yummy... especially with some oyster crackers.

Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). First open heart surgery at 5 days old. He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing. Third Son - due June 9, 2018
I'm currently on third breakfast. I started with a bacon, egg, and cheese wrap after my workout. Then, after my shower I had a cinnamon bun from Maialino (Italian restaurant next door to our apartment....so good....might have a new addiction). Now that I'm at the office I'm eating dry Lucky Charms. It is like I can't stop eating!
@MissKittyDanger raspberries om nom nom... bought some for DD the other day because she loves them, and they were SO GOOD.
I'm hoping our DD will like fruit because I've just been wanting it so much lol! Also Nutella ... lots of activity after I eat some of that I call those happy kicks lol!!
