Currently pouting because the dog woke up our son who woke us up and then I got hungry so couldn’t go back to sleep lol.

We have a bathroom company coming for a quote and my goal is to go to the gym, so we will see!

DS woke up crying a couple of times during the night, and he only does that when he's getting sick, so I'm not very excited about that prospect. There is just too much going around. FX he was just having bad dreams or something.
Speaking of which, when did all of your older kids start talking about dreams? I've asked him a few times if he had any dreams, and he doesn't really understand the question. I find it fascinating!

Good morning everyone! Dog grooming, grocery shopping and laundry today, life is glamorous lol! It’s supposed to be almost 50 today so hopefully I can get DS out of the house for a bit. We’ve been cooped up for far too long between the flu and the frigid temps.

I got a body pillow yesterday, and it's making it impossible to get out of bed. I need to get up soon, throw some clothes in the dryer, then walk to the bank and then walk to the nail salon. I haven't had a proper mani/pedi in forever. I'm so excited.

DH and I are going to a bocci competition with another couple this afternoon, and then it's old people karaoke at our shul, so we're going to go watch the spectacle with our friends. I kind of want to just lay around and do nothing, but he has drill next weekend so I can be lazy then.

@mrsbubbles-2 we are! We’re doing the kid bathroom. There’s a really tall jacuzzi tub in there that I loathe because I have to lift DS in and out and for a baby will be annoying to bend over. Then the previous owner put in white flooring and it shows all the hair so even after you clean it looks disgusting!

We’re in a similar position, the house we bought was listed at a great price because everything needs to be updated. So we will be joining in the renovation conversation after this baby arrives!

Going to stock up at Sam’s Club today. Realistically I need more snacks so I have stop hitting the drive thru every day. Yesterday I had Braum’s tenders, fries, and a jr. milkshake for my SECOND afternoon snack. This is out of control.

@scottishlass1213 we had white tiles in my old bathroom and I hated it for that reason. Between pets and my hair, it would drive me nuts. I love having white fixtures in my bathroom now but the hair (especially since my black long-haired kitten loves to go in the sink and tub) is driving me crazy. But our floors are this gray restored-wood looking panels and they're gorgeous.

I can't wait until we can finally buy a house. DH saw a condo for sale in our neighborhood and it's gorgeous, but definitely not in our price range right now.

My mom told the ladies at my nail salon that I'm pregnant so they all started asking me if I should be having coffee when I walked in with a Starbucks cup. It's just a chai!

You all have a decent amount of motivation and I'm envious af! Haha! It's almost 8am and I'm still in bed. Still feeling crappy 1st trimester symptoms so I'm staying in this cozy bed as long as I can stand it. I should prob clean house and pay bills soon but a Cheers marathon and breakfast in bed sounds so much better!

@lalala2004 this is my caffeine for the day so nothing is stopping me from drinking it. I'm even thinking of treating myself to a Diet Coke on my birthday (since I can't have a mimosa at brunch).

I will ill say that I'm feeling extra pampered at the salon today. After feeling miserable yesterday, this is just what I needed.

@babybeanmetcalf thank you! But it's not quite yet (it's the 11th, but that's how far in advance I'm dreaming of that Diet Coke).

DH is taking me to see 'Beautiful' on Thursday as an early present. I'm so excited. This is actually our first Broadway show together. He still has another surprise planned for later in the month. I think it's a couples cooking class but I'm not entirely sure.

We took a road trip to Dallas this weekend to hang out with family. We told my parents last night, and H's parents this morning. My dad was pretty excited, my stepmom mildly so, and H's mom cried. My stepmom getting mildly excited is the most I could have hoped for, so I call it a win.

Now trying to peel myself away from the internet long enough to grade papers and do an assignment for grad school. Bah.

We have dinner plans for my bday tonight which I’m so excited about because I can’t remember the last time we went out to dinner without DS. But before that we have to clean the house—blah.

Tomorrow we’re telling DH’s family about the pregnancy and I’ll be 11 weeks along. Pretty much everyone knows except them. TW Also DH just told me he had told them about our 2 losses last year, which makes me mad because he said he didn’t want them to know. So now I feel like it’s weird that they know something about me that I didn’t know they knew.

That's exciting to be sharing the news with his fam! I bet they will be even more excited and happy for you both after knowing what you didn't think they knew. I'd be quick to get upset about that too but I have to remind myself, DH has his own way of processing losses and maybe that helped your DH to share the heartbreak with his family. Anyways, so happy for both of you!!! Enjoy dinner!

Hi ladies! This weekend we plan on relaxing and hoping everyone is 100% but the end of the weekend!
DS woke up cranky, but has perked up as the morning has gone on. DH woke up feeling better, so FX this crap
is almost behind us!

This morning I went grocery shopping, got gas and the car washed by myself and it was glorious after the long week I had. It’s the little things, ha!

I got ingredients for homemade pizzas for Super Bowl tomorrow, so now I’m just craving pizza!

Today I have nothing planned and don’t think I’ll even get out of my pj’s. Tomorrow I have work early in the morning but then nothing and since neither one of us care about football it will probably be just another day to relax, I hope everyone has a nice weekend!

@lakesideknitter DS first mentioned dreams probably about 6 months ago (he'll be 3 on Thursday), and lately he's been mentioning them like once or twice a week. Apparently the other day he dreamt that there were lions and zebras (getting along) in our house, and when we come down to the entryway of our house he now looks and says "Oh, there are no zebras or lions in here! They must be at the zoo." Yesterday he also asked if there was still an elephant in our garage. I wish I could see these dreams myself!

We aren't doing much today. I need to finally finish taking down the Christmas decorations - DH has been slacking on bringing in the boxes with our normal decorations that I need to swap out, so I blame him

He's working tonight so I'm meeting up with a friend who has a daughter DS's age.

I'm listening to the 'Gypsy' cast recording while I get ready for bocci and it's seriously making me miss burlesque. I don't know if I'll feel brave enough to get back onstage with a post-baby body. At least I have a nice stash of rhinestones and fringe for future Halloween costumes.

I drove my kids out to a bday party at a bounce place this morning... except the party is March 3 not February 3. Ugh.

Abd I just gave into a ridiculous pg craving that sounded AMAZING (ham with pickles and cream cheese - it’s a thing but I haven’t had in years). Made it and sat down, 3 bites. Wtf self, this is DISGUSTING.

Back to the lunch drawing board lol

DS HAS STTN TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW!!!!!!
Thought it was a fluke the first night! Now he’s done it twice. Guys, he’s 22 months old! So I also STTN for the first time in 2 years!!!!! Aaaaargh!!!!!

About to get several inches chopped off my hair, can’t wait!!

Jealous @ewck !! My youngest was sttn for a while at 2 and basically since I’ve been pregnant is up at least 1x a night. Last night my oldest had an accident at like 6am too so that’s when basically we all were up. Soooo tired.

Well I’m hoping him STTN will continue but I won’t hold my breath! And that means that he slept 7-530 btw, so we’re still up early! But that’s what time I get up during the week so it’s not awful!

Hi guys! I've been absent for a few weeks! I had anxiety making it past my PGAL milestone weeks so I took a break! But I hope to be somewhat active from here on out. We're finding out the gender this week, then announcing to everyone in our lives after that! I'm secretly hoping for a specific gender, even though I won't admit it to my husband or anyone else. I hope the gender appointment goes over happily regardless. Maybe just seeing such a developed active baby will make me happy regardless. I'll be 14 weeks so it will be a clear little wiggly baby...

We ate lunch and then I said I’m gonna shower. So I got undressed and laid back down. Here I am on the internet. Lol. I need to get around tho. I have church and SB tomorrow and need to get groceries for that and our snow storm this week. Yayyyy.
