My breasts immediately exploded, and were my first obvious preg symptom at only 5 weeks. I bought a new bra up two band sizes (only really needed one, but I figured I'd grow more) and one cup size. It is now the only bra that I can wear, and I wear it daily. I think they've stabilized for now, but I may very well need another in a couple of months. I don't even know how to find a nursing bra in my size, but I suppose that is what the internet is for.

I just bought 2 new cheap bras that don't have underwire and I'm so happy I did! SO much more comfortable. Last pregnancy, my boobs got huge right around now and then stayed the same until my milk came in after DD was born (got even huger) so that's when I bought nursing bras, when I was sure what my bra size would be and I could invest in nice ones.
Baths are fine! Consuder getting nursing bras if you get bigger ones and plan to nurse - they likely won’t fit right away post parting but might eventually and then you can use nursing. Jmo
Pedi: talk to friends with similar parenting outlook if you can. That’s how I picked ours and I ADORE him. Literally my best parenting choice to date. For me, I knew nursungbwas important and I wanted a pedi who understood the way the growth can vary, wouldn’t push formula on a low percentile, not quick to medicate (important to dh who is a pharmacist), and is a good diagnostician but is not one to jump to conclusions. This stuff is hard to know outside word of mouth though.
Hes never mentioned formula, knows we bedshare and doesn’t care, doesn’t suggest cio, and is so so SO nice. His kids go to my kids school and he stopped once when he saw us there right after Isaac bonked his head and was crying. He made him laugh and was just so kind.
The bedside manner and kindness you’ll find irl but the other stuff, depending what matters to you, ask questions from other parents.
@fishee333 I’m with you on the underwire-less bras. They are so comfy. My boobs have definitely grown but I know they will get much bigger after the baby comes and milk comes in. Mine stayed at least a cup bigger months after I starting BFing DS

Oh and!!! If you end up picking a pedi you don’t love? It’s ok! You can switch! If you pick one and decide you just don’t mesh it’s fine to find someone else and by then you may have a better idea what you want too
Here’s a question I’ve been stewing over. I might be a bit premature but now that I know it’s a girl and I have a bit of a ‘thing’ for kid clothes (I do a ton of bst of nicer brands) so I’m antsy.
Given the late summer due dates, how much summer 0/3 stuff do you think we will need? I’m in ct so we are transitioning to fall clothes maybe late sept. So that’s definitely not a full 3 months, so I don’t want to overbuy. Nor do I want to do laundry every day. Not so I want to shortchange myself... I mean the baby
my other kuds all spent a full season in each size as babies so it was easier to justify... I’ll get a few cute ‘outfits’ (rompers really) and I am one who will dress the baby and not just have them in a onesie, but I know I need some easy stuff too
@pghctwife remind me where you live? Here in North Texas, it will still be warm for a while. My son was born in May, but I imagine we will use a lot of the same clothes. Even if it’s a girl. But depending on where you live I’d buy a mix of things.
@pghctwife girl, buy what you want! She will have blowouts and spit up and what not so that will just give you an excuse to change her from one cute outfit to another. Go big for your little gal!
E is 14 months and can still fit in most of her 6-12 and 9-12 month clothes. I find different brands have way different sizing. So maybe get 10 outfits and some plain onesies that will go 0-3/0-6 and see how large baby will be.

I think DS was in 6 month clothing by 3 months. He was huge. He’s still really tall for his age but is long and lanky now. We’ll probably use a lot of his stuff for the baby but i want this little guy to have some new stuff too.
I’ll add I usually have a number (ish) in mind for my kids of outfits per season - 12-14 usually. I think I need to decide on a number of sets (with things that mix and match of 2-pc) to work off and limit myself lol. I also hate when my kids have too much and I don’t get to see them in things as often!
And yes, brands made a huge difference. DS always outgrew clothes by length. I only bought sleepers & onesies in infant sizes because pants the right length wouldn’t stay up around his waist. Carter’s & Oshkosh clothing seemed to be longer & skinnier than brands like Gymboree when DS was a baby. Now that he’s in boys sizes I can buy slim sizing in jeans and pants.
I’m pretty good on sizing... it’s my 4th and my kids are always pretty tts but I always had a full season based on time of year. I won’t be handing her stuff down and she’ll only wear it like 6 weeks or so... so hoping not to go overboard I also do this, I stew over kid clothes lol
My two were both born in June so were good with sharing clothes. If this is another girl I may need some new stuff only because the smallest long sleeved stuff I have is in 9 month size (both of my girls were in 9 month clothes before 6 months old). Unless I get hand me downs in an appropriate season i will have problems (my sister had a girl in November but she was a tiny preemie so i don't know if that will line up either).
SIL has two boys so of it's a boy I'm hoping for her hand me downs. I don't want to buy too much since this will be our last baby.
Remember we will be pregnant during prime garage sale season, things can always be picked up or added to a collection while saving some $$ at the same time.
My DS was born in July and was also small. He wore 0-3 for a long time. With how store shipping is though I always felt like I could order him things if I needed and they’d be here in a week, like if we needed more of the current size or to go up one.
In my area, all the early childhood PTAs have spring and fall resales and they are so awesome for finding used clothes and baby items for cheap. I highly recommend looking into that. I’m not sure we can reuse all of DS’ stuff because he was a spring baby but I hope to make it work without buying too much. Also, don’t know sex yet.
Does anyone have a home doppler and have you found the heartbeat yet?

@pghctwife I’m from NY close to CT and it’s been so unpredictable here when it comes to fall. This past fell it was warm well into October! The buying part is my favorite.

@Funnygirl34 I have one and found the heartbeat around 11w. I tried again last week (12w) and didn't find it, but since you've reminded me I'll go ahead and try again today. My uterus definitely "popped" this week, so I don't know where to begin looking anymore.
