What are you ladies doing this weekend?
I wanted to take DH to I fly for his birthday, but they are all booked for the weekend. I ended up scheduling for Monday which is his actual birthday so I guess that is ok. Other than that I am going to be relaxing because we have no plans. I do need to go to Walmart, which I am dreading.

Its not even 10:30 and I just ate leftovers from Olive Garden. I thought the carbyness would help easy my tummy but no. It sounded good at the time
As far as the baby T name goes--its been working for me! I'm team green but have a big feeling that the baby is a boy. Our last name starts with T and "T" was my DH's nickname almost his whole life because there were so many Michael's in his class. So baby T just seems to fit! Makes me feel better than constantly saying "the baby" or "he or she" or the dreaded "it."
Hope you all have wonderful weekends!
@legallykate good luck getting work done. I always have such high hopes for that too on the weekends.
@cthulu hope he feels better or you both at least have an enjoyable lazy day.
@ecwk hope your stomach settles! I've been making weird food decisions that always sounds good at the time, but not always 30 min later. At least we are eating, right?

@cthulu hope he feels better!
@doctormom33 good luck with the quilt! I have a baby blanket I started knitting when I was pregnant with DS almost 3 years ago that I have yet to finish.
No big plans for this weekend other than a project for grad school and pulling out/sorting/washing my maternity clothes.

I’m sure he’ll find something else soon. He’s getting a really generous severance package and we have our benefits through February. It just sucks that the day this happens we get 3 separate doctor’s bills.
DH drove my brother and my parents to the optometrist while I went to a PD. So I'm waiting at my mom's house (since it was closer to where my PD was) for them to come get me so we can all go get lunch.

@cthulu oh no poor baby and on his birthday. Hopefully he will feel better a little later.
@lalala2004 I am so jealous. What city do you live in again? And I have heard the tickets to Hamilton are always sold out.
August 18 Siggy Challenge: April Showers
@lalala2004 I got tickets last Christmas for Hamilton in Chicago last summer and it was awesome. Then, long story, but we got the broadway series here and are seeing Hamilton next summer from the 4th row!!!! I may have tried to plan getting pregnant not around our ticket date
Even if daycare cost 4 times what it actually does I'd still pay it. No way could I do this 7 days a week. At least DD1 is napping. Small victories.
@cthulu Hope he feels better soon! Although, nowadays, if I spent my birthday laying on the couch while someone rubbed my back, I'd be ecstatic
@derbysquirrel H and I play D&D too! I played a lot in college, but just started a group up with some of our friends. It's a lot of fun.
I fell asleep last night at like 7:45 and didn't get out of bed until 7 AM. It was great. I've done a bit of cleaning and some yoga and an arm workout. I'm eating subway for lunch and plan on laying around the rest of the day. I have to write a paper tomorrow and grade some labs so I'm trying to maximize my lazy time today.
DS is better. Day 3 of no fever And has his appetite back today, so if it’s nice out tomorrow, we may take him to the zoo. He also slept until 8:30 today which was amazing!
@ecwk I hope you feel better. I hate when that happens.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
hope me everyone is enjoying Saturday so far. I have had mild nausea all day, this is so unlike me!

I had the craziest dream during my nap:
We had just come home with baby, and I was trying to breastfeed but wasn’t producing milk. I switched breasts; nothing. I called my grandma and she told me to get my husband to massage them. Afterwards, I tried breastfeeding again & it worked! Then milk began shooting uncontrollably from my other breast and I couldn’t find my haakaa! I rushed to the kitchen to find a container. Milk was squirting everywhere; the baby was still latched to the other breast & our youngest dog followed behind me lapping it off the floor. Finally made it to the kitchen—no pitcher, cups, bowls, bags, mason jars...nothing! So I went into the nursery & grabbed a cloth diaper bamboo insert and covered my breast to catch the milk and, literally, cried over spilled milk smh then I woke up craving tacos.
It’s definitely gonna be a Netflix night

I’ve been trying to find a used double stroller and I’m about over it. Why post something for sale and then not respond to a potential buyer/ just stop responding randomly/ be a huge twat? If it’s sold, cool just say so. Ignoring someone is just plain rude.
Also, sobbing my face off watching 'The First Wives Club'. One of my absolute favorite movies.

Here’s a pro tip someone told me: get a La Z Boy chair (or similar) for the nursery instead of one of those expensive gliders. It will be way more comfortable for all the rocking you’ll do and better quality.
This poor baby. We already bought a nice crib & dresser from a friend because she was selling it super cheap. I’m not sure what he’ll get that’s new.
We are going to dinner with DHs family to a restaurant that has bacon in everything. I looked at the menu and was practically drooling. DH said he is getting some drink with Bacon Vodka.
Note: I much prefer to buy in person at yard sales than buy online or on FB BST boards. I feel like I get better deals, don’t waste as much time, and don’t have the issue of photos looking great while the item is trash IRL,
