They have knock-off girl scout cookies (thin mints, peanut butter patties, and caramel delights - or whatever you other people call them in other areas of the country...) at Aldi's for like $1.50. Check them out!
FFWC: I don't like thin mints. I'm just not a huge fan of mint and chocolate except for peppermint and white chocolate.
I made these peanut butter blondies with chocolate chips instead of frosting and they are amaaaazzzzing.

For the love of all that is good, why can't I find Samoa Girl Scout cookies out here in Minnesota!?!?!?! All my friends from Pennsylvania and Indiana are selling their kids cookies on Facebook but I can't find any out here!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have something very similar at Aldi if you have one near you!
I normally don't have much of a sweet tooth. But I do now. Midwife said I didn't gain wait over the holidays, so I came home from the appt and made choc chip cookies today. So bad!
Also include me in the tacos all the time camp. Melted cheese on a tortilla with some sort of protein added at least every other day. I do make myself eat some lettuce with it...
Y'all. I just went to this really trendy Ramen bar in Houston. And it was everything I didn't know I needed in my life. We've been to a couple but this place.... so many flavors and textures.
@crossfitbabybump the RN at my class at the hospital just said that at this point in my pregnancy not much is going to help because baby is squishing all of my intestines. She said there’s no magical cure.
@crossfitbabybump They do work for me. It's totally noticeable if I skip a day. I don't know why. Eating salads of fiber-rich foods isn't effective but 2-3 prunes a day is. weird, but I'll take it!
I would try decaf but I don't really drink coffee for the flavor, more to wake me up. But I have been a better sleep schedule lately and have been going to bed early and getting up earlier to train myself for baby. Usually by 2-3pm I'm in need of coffee though. lol
@crossfitbabybump I have barely been able to have any caffeine this pregnancy. Apparently this kiddo objects to me being a fully awake mom. I drink the decaf and lie to myself and say it’s the same. Mind over matter?? ((More like desperate))
Also, I'm just eating it all. all the time. It's hard to eat enough so usually an hour after I've had a snack, I'm like okay...what now? Garlic bread, lots of chocolate, tacos (as always), salads, potatoes in any form...hahaha
Having some left over crawfish fettucini from my baby shower last night. SO excited to be pregnant/PP during the beginning of crawfish season....I will have no shame!
@orbmaker - I love chia seeds! I eat these little pouches called Mama Chia and they're so good! I've also been eating one Fiber One bar a day and that seems to be helping a bit. Sad thing is, they're sooo good that you want to eat more than one but if you do... well that's dangerous lol
Total first world problem... I just looked in my pantry and complained to myself that we have nothing to eat. Which is not true. We just have nothing to eat that doesn’t involve me having to stand and cook it or that I actually want to eat. I don’t actually want a lot of things right now.
@mdfarmchick - agree!! I totally stood in front of my fridge more than normal this weekend, just staring, disappointed. Even though I went grocery shopping Friday. I wish we could just have what we want magically appear when we think of it. I feel bad, poor DH is constantly getting sent to dollar general to get me snacks lol

Oh & how did I forget that it was Girl Scout cookie time!
Edited because autocorrect can suck it
Not that I don't like them, really, but suddenly the constipation is real, and I'm eating prunes every day like an old man.
@fatstagnation - do they help though? I'm kinda desperate... lol
LEMONADE. and not the cheap, sugary crap. REAL lemonade! Out of nowhere lol
I don't know why. Eating salads of fiber-rich foods isn't effective but 2-3 prunes a day is. weird, but I'll take it!
@sarahhedger7 - I was told no more caffeine after my pre-term labor scare
LIFE. SUCKS. without it. lol
@fatstagnation - probably why I've felt so shitty all week lol
@mdfarmchick - yeah no caffeine
