I’m a FTM and havent had any notable food cravings or food aversions. (Just non-stop thirst!). Not sure if I should be grateful or if I feel like I’m missing out...
@pretzellover I feel the same and am also a FTM. I didn’t have morning sickness or any food aversions. I’ve had a few cravings but honestly, they are things I craved before I was pregnant and they aren’t super strong cravings.
Tonight we had chicken stir fry with red, yellow, and orange peppera, purple onion, fresh mushrooms, and peapods in an orange teriyaki sauce. It was to die for! Absolutely hit the spot and i cannot wait to take left overs to work tomorrow! Love eating fresh like this!

@4deep, drooling!! We had sushi last night so we tried to be good today and at least not eat out again. Made turkey burgers for dinner with baked sweet potato fries, not the same as a burger restaurant but it satisfies me for now!
Really need to make sure I ear smaller meals. I feel super full when I eat a bigger portion and I know my digestive system is slower than usual.
@kissableviv same here! My portion sizes have gone up majorly since feeling better. Food is just so good now, it’s like making up for lost time of something. That can be a slippery slope for sure. That’s my focus this week. No more big meals, instead smaller healthier snacks.
It's 6:52 am on a Sunday and I'm lying in bed fantasizing about a cheeseburger. I'm a vegetarian. Dammit! Confession, I have given in and had tiny bits of chicken a couple times, but I really want to avoid beef. At the same time I'm trying to listen to my body and give it what it needs. But I don't think it needs a cheeseburger. Helppppp
Omg I eat a mostly vegetarian diet, and have NOT been able to stay away from meat the last two weeks. It's such a strong craving that I normally don't get! So weird and confusing... hahah!!
Last night, I made myself a pizza bagel for dinner. Amazing. Why is this the first time in my entire adult life I've ever made one of these? Bagel, jarred tomato sauce, shredded cheese, toaster oven...yum. Must pick up more bagels...
Oooooh @moguippy that's genius, I do have a whole pack of english muffins at home. Move over grilled cheese, the pizza bagel/pizza english muffin is taking over.

I make my 5 year old pizza muffins all the time and my husband loves them also. If you don't have a toaster oven, you can use your regular oven, with the broiler on high. So yummy!

@stlmegs Oh yeah, I used the toaster oven to bake at 400 first, then for the last minute I turned it to broil to get the cheese nice and brown/bubbly. My toddler oddly hates pizza (weirdo) so not sure he would like it.
Can't stop, wont stop with the elote (corn on the cob). They put little spicy on it and it was the perfect combo. @wildtot they make one with crushed hot Cheetos around it. Made me think of you!
@zombiehoohaa enjoy! I’m soooo jelly! Looks so delicious. If it didn’t snow today i was thinking of going to go get the elote in a cup but i guess it will have to be another day.
I brought lunch to work but then DH tells me it’s 50 cent tamales Tuesday...explains why he didn’t bring lunch. He failed to mention it till i asked- bad move mister!
@wildtot he knewwww! Haha. Anyone else obsessed with citrus-y fruit? Pineapple, Clementines, oranges...I love them all. And I HAVE TO have grapefruit juice every morning.
I had a huge bowl of precut strawberries from a bodega near where I have rehearsals. Ate the entire thing in the course of a few hours. Soooooo tasty. I never thought I would find perfectly ripe strawberries in January.
With my first, I didn't have cravings but had a TON of food aversions. I basically didn't eat chicken or pork my entire pregnancy, and very little vegetables in my first tri.
This time I haven't had food aversions per se, just stuff that doesn't sound good at that particular moment. I've also had no real cravings except for cheese fries once early on. I ordered some through Favor and when they showed up as soggy fries with nacho cheese sauce I started crying. So the next day we went to Snuffers and had real cheese fries and DD had her first ever hamburger.
I've been craving soups because it's so freaking cold out and my appetite is still iffy due to nausea. And now for some reason, I just want a smoothie or a milkshake.

I found out there is a restaurant here with supposedly really amazing elote. There’s a street vendor too, but they are too far away. I am going to try and get some ASAP! @zombiehoohaa@wildtot
@hayhay93 I have a friend who lives in rural TN and when she was out here in October, I introduced her to elote and the cups. Ever since then, she has been making it herself at home because she cannot find anything remotely close in her area. I sent her that picture above and she about screamed at me to overnight her one asap! lol It's pretty easy to make if you have the right fixings.
I was just thinking that I might have to just make it at home! That way I can get enough ingredients to make like 25 of them... but I want that pineapple drink, too! @zombiehoohaa
