  • .... And now I want tacos.
  • Loading the player...
  • Goldfishes, BRC burritos from El Pollo Loco, ice cream, Tums (yes, the antacid), acai and chia pudding bowls from Blue Bowl.

  • Nachos for dinner! Don't worry, they're healthy. Corn (chips). Beans. Grass fed local ground beef (oh yeah). Cheese (calcium!). Lettuce. Raw peppers. And the almighty avocado. Hell yeah.
  • I had a whole box of Mac and cheese yesterday and today I had a shitty day at work and I really want to treat myself to something yummy. But aside from the Mac and cheese Yesterday I've been so good with food and exercise that I now feel bad ruining it.ugh! Also, I want sushi really bad
  • A HUGE pepperoni sandwich that I've been craving for so long that I almost cried last night... and tons of berries. I cannot get enough berries. So weird.

Tonight I'm making baked eggplant, salad and roasted carrots. I'm not thrilled, but guess what's for dessert.... more berries!
  • Cold pizza and ice cream for dinner. Eyeing a can of spicy menudo for tomorrow. Wanting some hot cheetos too!
  • Mmm! All I want is spicy!!!!
  • I have been craving spicy too! I made tikka masala for dinner I am super excited I was actually able to eat it. It had chicken and lots of veggies in it, which have both been hard for me to eat for a while.

I also feel guilty as I had two portions of ravioli. At least they had meat, so protein, right?? Riiiight?? And the second portion was butternut squash. So there, veggies!
  • Roasted sweet potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli carrots and peppers with chicken jalapeno sausage. My go to to finish off any veggies and proteins before the weekend when we usually eat out.

  • I still don’t have as big an appetite as i used to BUT avocado on English muffin, chips and salsa... have been my go-to!
  • Also, cottage cheese and Lays Potato chips. I miss spicy foods!
@runsomewhere My sister has been bbqing sweet potatoes lately and they have been heaven! I would eat them all day, everyday, if she would make them...

  • Everyone and their mother was having poke bowls today. I've been hesitant to have those, because I want to wait to be able to go to a place I trust and have maybe a bit of salmon.......

Then I go have lunch with DH, and what's the special at the cafeteria??? POKE BOWLS. luckily, they had a vegetarian option that definitely scratched the itch! Cubed tofu, lettuce (no Romain) steamed asparagus, brown rice, and a bit of crab. Topped with a bit of spicy mayo. I'd say it was a good choice, especially because I was about to order a quesadilla and fries!!!
  • I’d say I’ve been craving Mac and Cheese. I just got home from the grocery store and my husband pointed out that I came home with 6 types of Mac and cheese and nothing I actually went out for...
  • I just dipped pita chips in garden vegetable cream cheese. For dinner. Because I was stressed and it was delicious.
  • @beanship I love chips dipped in cream cheese. Such a good combo of sweet and savory

  • Tonight was a breakfast burrito for dinner. Two scrambled eggs, hashbrowns (from one giant potato), white cheddar, pepperoncinis and guacamole. I'm so freakin full.
  • Still really digging salads. Today my coworker shared some roasted salted nuts with me, and I really wanted more, but the vending machine didn't have any...seriously disappointing. So I had a bag of chips, which did the job. I also feel the urge to get a single portion of Easy Mac, just to get it out of my system (although I doubt I'd just have 1 all pregnancy!).

@hayhay93 I know the feeling! Hang in there; 1 day at a time.
  • @DynamiteTrujillo that sounds so good!!
  • @pretzellover where do you find such amazing looking berries this time of year
  • @zande2016 Surprisingly enough, at the grocery store! (And they were organic)
  • @kissableviv yum poke bowls! I have been craving those so much and I’m too afraid to eat it. I might have to do the vegetarian option too.

I’m all about Italian and Mexican food. I can’t get enough! Also cottage cheese and an avocado have been my go to snacks.
  • Just ordered a cheese burger and a turkey/mozzarella sandwich with a Pineapple, peach and mango flavored smoothie from a diner. Can’t wait until it gets here! ♡
  • Had pizza and wings for the first time in a looong time - so good. But I'm most excited about my new breakfast routine (since the morning sickness has subsided). It's raw oats soaked for 5-10 min in 1/2 chocolate almond milk 1/2 regular unsweetened almond milk and topped with whole grain Cheerios. It's somewhat healthy (by my standards), but the Cheerio and chocolate sweetness hits the spot without being too much. I think the raw oats  are helping with the constipation a bit too!
  • @acunamatada why is that so hard to understand??? Haha!

Well, we are getting sushi. I'm going for cooked rolls, and I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with it. DH, bless his heart, says: "ok then let's get these two cooked rolls and plot them" ( he is watching his calories). No, no, no. I GET THESE TWO COOKED ROLLS. you get another one for yourself, since you can eat whatever. I'm pregnant, I worked out today, and baby is hungry!
  • It’s 11:30 pm and I’m making myself a baked potato. I’m so happy
  • Haven’t been able to eat much meat the last couple months and now I’m on a steak kick. Can’t eat much but definitely loving it. Need to start eating chicken again just can’t get myself to cook it. Im also on a huge Mexican kick. Can’t. Get. Enough!
I’m away on a mini getaway this weekend and my bestie came to visit and brought me my favourite pizza ever! So I just ate pizza for dessert. I’m blaming it on being on “vacay”

  • It's 6:52 am on a Sunday and I'm lying in bed fantasizing about a cheeseburger. I'm a vegetarian. Dammit! Confession, I have given in and had tiny bits of chicken a couple times, but I really want to avoid beef. At the same time I'm trying to listen to my body and give it what it needs. But I don't think it needs a cheeseburger. Helppppp
  • @zande2016 YES! I’m a vegetarian too and I just fantasize about meat! This is so disgusting for me to admit but last pregnancy I was specifically craving a MCDONALDS hamburger?! Not a hamburger from like a reputable restaurant, by specifically McDonald’s. So weird! And no I did not go for it. Last pregnancy I did cheat like twice I think... trying not to this time around! I feel your pain!!
  • @julianne0 I had chicken noddle soup one time when I was so nauseous it was all I could think of eating. I didn't eat much of the chicken though, mostly the broth and noodles. Then later that night I had one tiny bite of filet mignon. It was Christmas Eve. That was literally all I ate the entire day because I was having aversions to all other food that day. So weird. Since then there were a couple times I had a tiny bit of chicken. Then I had wonton soup the other day and felt horrible after because one of the main reasons I gave up meat is the pork industry/pigs. Ughhh. Feels good to get that off my chest lol. I might have a bigass veggie burger and fries tonight at a really good burger place that handmakes everything. Trying to stay strong!
  • @zande2016 oh I know, sometimes when your body needs it you just have to go for it! I actually had chicken noodle soup last time too on one of my sickest days, I also avoided the chicken!
  • @zande2016 @julianne0 it’s so funny/interesting how the body works. You both are vegetarians craving meat and I’m normally a huge meat eater but all I’ve wanted this pregnancy is carbs and fruit.  :D I’ve still eaten meat of course but not nearly as much as usual.
  • Grilled cheese and tomato soup, BLTs and crunchy salads with Ken’s Italian dressing have been my main cravings this week.

I got the okay to use whey protein from my OB yesterday, so my goal from here on is to eat a healthy smoothie for breakfast and a balanced lunch, and then let myself splurge a little at dinner if I want.
  • @ashbub714 same! I usually have meat with most meals but haven’t been wanting much lately. Just carbs. All the carbs!
  • @ashbub714 it’s the strangest and never makes sense!
