Re: Weekly Appointments (1/15)
@kfren good luck on your test! are you going to fast for it? I always hear mixed opinions on that with 1 hours. a small part of me (very very small) is glad I'm skipping the 1hr and going straight to 3hr. I feel like my chances of passing the 3hr is sliiiiightly better than the 1hr.

My A/S isn't until next week. I feel like the waiting between seeing them on screen has been killer.
I wasn't supposed to have an appt until our a/s and regular visit on Feb. 5th, but just got a call from the office that my quad screen came back abnormal. First trimester screening was normal, so they want an ultrasound done and blood work re-drawn to double-check the results.

I don't know when we'll get the results back from the u/s and the BW, but I'll be asking that as well.
I go in today at noon, so another hour and a half. I wish H could come with me, but he's 3 hours in the opposite direction from my doctor's office. And I definitely don't want my mother there. *sigh*

GL to everyone having a/s this week and extra thoughts being sent to everyone having additional testing/procedures done this week!
thinking of you dear @izza2
@catlady1215 thanks! I don't ever fast for the 1-hour. I plan on proteining-up, though. I passed the 1-hour early on last pregnancy, but not the second. The 3-hour made me puke last pregnancy, so I had to drink that ish twice
@LaceyBee522 I had GD with DD and DS, so my OB likes to test early.
The u/s went well. The tech said baby looked great and everything she could measure looked perfect. Measuring ahead, actually! I still go back in February for the official anatomy scan, because she wants baby to grow more so she can more accurately measure and look at his organs and stuff, though. Blood work results will be back in 7-10 days.
Thank you all for the thoughts and well wishes!!

@krashke Good luck! Hopefully you guys click right away and you have that momma instinct right away! I know when we found ours for DD she answered the questions I was going to ask without me even having to ask. She was very open and laid back about stuff (in a good way) and we all clicked right away!

All are welcome!
I'm hoping we can find at least 2 more providers with openings even if they are a few months after I go back to work and we have to do a center for some time. We will just have to keep looking because spots might open up if families move but I would really like to get something arranged so I can stop worrying about it.
Plus my step-mom has basically offered to retire early and watch the baby for a few months if we need it and I would really like to avoid that at all costs!
