DS born 9/24/2020
When I was younger, my aunt in Texas had 3 kids my age. She paid a lady to come once a week to iron and hang all their laundry. 8 year old me didn't understand and thought she was nuts. Notsomuch now.
Mine is that I was ready to order a crib and dresser last night that I'd had my eye on because they went on sale (combined savings of $275) and I couldn't go through with it because there was a freight charge of $175. The math still makes sense, but damn those shipping charges mess with me mentally!

@ffw0617 You should totally get a cleaning lady! I've had one for at least the past six years. It frees up so much of your time!
@laceybee522 I move my car to an area of the parking lot that doesn't get traffic, recline my seat, and curl up lol
@sunshineandwhiskey that is what I was worried about too! I just found out we are having a boy. I don't really have a strong opinion on it so I'm willing to do whatever MH wants. It hasn't come up yet.

@buffalove1211 I told my son that his the batteries in his really annoying loud toy my sister got for him in Japan were "Japanese batteries" and we couldn't get anymore until Auntie went back to Japan so we'll have to play with the toy without batteries for a while. So of course next time he saw my sister he asked her for some "Japanese batteries"......she doesn't have kids. There is no way she could understand my tactics
Solid parenting ladies
We were suppose to drop the 2 bags for donation tonight, but weather preventing this. Also means I have to figure out dinner, since we were suppose to pick up dinner. Mother nature hates me and I want a pita
I also need to toss our duvet in the wash. It smells weird and it's a mix of cat drool and husband sweat. Wtf

We decided to circumcise. We have family members on both sides that had to be circumcised later on in life, teen years or later. My aunt, who is a Dr, explained that it was likely that any of our boys would more than likely end with the same problems. We decided to do it while he was a baby and wouldn't remember vs having to do it as a teen or adult.
This BBC article is a few years old, but definitely makes for an interesting read.
I'm definitely not trying to scare you, just explaining why we made the choice we made. Lots of men go through life without any issues like this at all.
If medical issues of this sort weren't so prevalent in our families, we might have skipped doing it.
