Had breakfast tacos today in honor of taco Tuesday
We went with breakfast quesadillas (kids picked because MH is working late). Basically scrambled eggs and sausage and cheese between two tortillas and grilled on the frying on. Yum
I am so trying this! We did bean and cheese quesadillas last night for e kids
@moguippy that's totally something I would do, and sort of am doing lol. There are about 200 people working in my office, usually there is more than one pregnant women around, I am so on the lookout to see if I'll have a pregnancy buddy this time around.
@4deep I'm stealing the breakfast quesadilla idea for an easy kiddo meal. DD loves anything in a tortilla and breakfast food, I don't know why a breakfast quesadilla never occurred to me! We're having wraps with grilled chicken, tzatziki, feta and veggies.

OK so super random. No one at work knows I am pregnant yet. There are not a lot of other women at my job (STEM field) and only 5 of us at the age we would have kids. I thought it highly unlikely someone else would be pregnant at the same time as me (2 of the other ladies hate kids, and 1 just had a baby). So yesterday I passed the 5th lady in the bathroom and thought to myself "hmm that looks like it could be a baby bump" (and normally I am super oblivious and don't notice anything.) I let it slip my mind, but today one of the other girls (who I am super close with) came over and let me know that 5th lady was looking at cribs on her computer when she walked by and that she also noticed a bump (plus she just got married within the past year)... so I'm super excited that someone else *might* be pregnant the same time as me! I realize nothing is confirmed lol. She works in a different dept so I'm not worried about going out on mat leave at the same time. It would just be nice to have someone to bond with since our company is 90% men.
I also stalked the other boards spreadsheets looking for her but didn't find anyone I thought would be her- does this make me weird?
I heard one of the big bosses from another office talking to her and congratulating her! I overheard her say that she is due in May. I think she is about 7-10 weeks ahead of me, so after I announce at work I will be talking to her a ton! YAY!!!
@moguippy Hey that's awesome you'll have someone to commiserate with at work! I wish I had someone when I was a FTM. Thankfully this time around, my BFF told me she due 4 days after me! Super excited for all the waddling and eating we will be able to do together.
Random for me - Had the craziest dreams about my ex-bf last night! The type where I woke up confused because it was so realistic. He's a firefighter in SoCal, so he's been on my mind lately. So weird when these dreams happen. Thanks pregnancy hormones!
@stlmegs oh I have two boys already and they are the best! You're right there is definitely something awesome about the mother/son relationship! That's why I know it will be totally awesome to have another boy but I just hate that I'll have a momentary disappointment over not having a sister for my daughter.

Just for fun, where should I vacation to in October - November 2018.
I'll be going back to work January 2019 so this will be a bit of a last hurrah before I go back, plus we usually travel somewhere warm around this time. We went to Hawaii, the Big Island when DD was 4 months. DD will just be turning 3 and new baby will be 3-4 months, we like the ocean and nature, will fly with kids

@acunamatada seriously! we had a really warm few days and it seriously dropped overnight and I had not realized the snow was rain first before it snowed so it just looked like blowing snow on a dry driveway. glad i wore my thick hat!

We were having people over today. The roads aren't great, but are fine for general travel. DH, in his monitoring of the situation, got it in his head that it would be better to have these people over NEXT weekend, after I went out today specifically to get stuff for tonight's dinner. So he spent like, the whole time I was gonna convincing his mother to come over next weekend because the roads were bad but really he wants to spend all day downstairs building computers and going to bed early because he was up til 1 am and had to get up at 6:30. I have class next Saturday like, an hour away for the ENTIRE DAY. I won't even be home until after people are already here. So DH, who rarely solo parents, will have to solo parent and cook almost every aspect of this meal alone. LOL.
Really I am just sad because I went to the co-op and bought $20 worth of fancy cheese that was preggo safe and I can't eat it til next week now! #preggoproblems.
Today’s DS adventures 1. Close my hand into a fist and only pulls up my middle finger 2. He “credit cards” me as I’m going into the shower. 3. A major blow out at the dealership as we get our car serviced. Now at babies r us getting clothes so we can continue our day.
