@kristinl492 Yay for a new mattress! I bet that’s the best feeling in the world! I’m glad your back pain has gone away! I’ve noticed things have died down a bit on TB too.
I think we’re almost as excited about the new mattress as we are about the pending arrival of our son
@kristinl492 I have a sleep number bed and love it! No more indents in the springs! I put a memory foam topper on top of the mattress and it's heaven. A good mattress is vital and worth every penny. And I'll still be on the Bump (along with FB) so I hope it doesn't die completely either.

Nothing harder than trying to roll out of an indented mattress while in the third trimester! Now I’m just afraid of my water breaking on the new one Glad to hear it, I’ll definitley still be hanging around TB

My favorite was "I deleted my posts because other people quoted me" while at the same time others were quoting her in case she deleted. It's like a Bump "Chicken or the egg" scenario....

Going to bed looking like a total greaseball because slathering my face in thick ointment is the only way to keep it from being totally dried out. I feel like Spongebob when he’s out of water.
There’s no hump day hump day thread this week and no one from my due date week started a thread. As we get closer to popping I think everyone’s given up or something haha.
I'm pretty diappointed with how quiet it got since the Facebook group got started.
Also made me upset that I can't join the Facebook group anymore because they won't accept more people.
From being part of this group for months and lurking other Boards, most of the boards die down 2-3 weeks before due dates start happening. I think it's because every one is tired and still working, has a ton of things to do to get ready for baby's arrival or before going on leave.
Also Anyone is welcome to start a thread if they notice it's missing on any given day. (Even if its a few days late!)
Speaking of getting ready for baby. Yesterday I took the side off DS#2's crib and he didn't get out once. I am switching him to a double bed tonight and have moved his crib into where the baby will be sleeping.
It was a ton of work since the crib had to be taken completely apart in order to move it where I wanted but I did it. Super proud of myself but feeling kind of crappy now.
I still have to put together the bed frame for DS#2 but I'm taking a break before I start that a bit later

Agreed that I'm a little bummed to see how quiet it got here recently. Especially because I've been having insomnia and sit around from 3-5am , it'd be nice to have some people to check in with. I don't have Facebook so oh well
@wal2017 - there are still some of us around. I agree with @Mamaof5already that a lot of people are probably just trying to get done a bunch of things before their LO arrives. I'm with you on the insomnia - no fun at all! I also had preterm labor last week and was hospitalized and since being discharged I'm not allowed to go back to work and on strict orders to take it easy so hopefully LO will make it to term - so I have more time to bump :-)

Keep that LO in there! Still needs some time to finish cooking!
Does make sense that people would be quieter while getting stuff done before their little ones get here. I've been here more because I'm already on maternity leave. Still been getting a bunch done which feels pretty nice
@katie12-17 - thanks I'm trying:-) That's great you have some time now to get ready for your LO! I'm limited in some of the things I can do because of the preterm labor - so for a bunch of things I would normally do on my own I now have to wait for DH - which is hard sometimes.

I’m super independent as well, and waiting for DH to help me do things is frustrating for me because I USED to be able to do them! I usually do them anyways (minus heavy lifting) and DH gets mad at me.
Same. I had preterm labor scare in Christmas eve, I'm officially done with work although I do have some small things I can pretty much do from home, but I fell off a 4 inch stool last week and injured my knee really bad and banged my head. So now I'm even more limited mobility wise, and have been banned from using stools, chairs, etc. So I have to rely way more than I'm use to from others.
I haven't been on the bump much because i keep getting kicked off, or have Amazon sweepstakes pop ups that crash my phone.
I will admit that I haven't been as active on here since the FB group but that's mainly because the Bump app is so glitchy, slow and a total pain in the ass that it can take 5-10 minutes to access the boards. Nevermind how if you hit the backspace button it kicks you out to the main board instead of just going back a page.
On the other hand I miss the gifs from here because FB still hasn't gotten that figured out entirely yet!

@jenniferjoy37 - I know it's so frustrating! @mamaof5already - oh my goodness that's horrible! I hope you are doing better! Preterm labor is bad enough, but getting hurt on top of that really stinks! @rainafire77 - I understand the bump can be glitchy. Haha - yes I love the gifs!
I'm ok with it being slow on bmb...Im over it. Especially when you ask a person a question....and someone wants to play " know it all" and respond to your question.....which didn't involve them.

Fb is easier for sure. I’m sick of spending forever typing stuff out only to have half of it posted. Definitely no. But I do hop on here and see what’s going on. Just not much to comment/talk about lately.

There appears to be something stuck up your anus. Do you need it surgically extracted?
I kinda hate the Facebook format. Probably because I’m technologically challenged and have never used it much. I find it a lot harder to follow threads
@jessilee15 same! I am really struggling with finding new posts and replies and how it's all nested together. I wish it would be run like other non pregnancy groups I'm in where everyone could just post new threads, so i could find and reply easier and not feel like I'm missing things.
I'm not technically challenged, as i work on several fb business and organization pages. Its just very different than what I'm used to.
