  I have my first US on Thursday. I'm pretty anxious about it. We've been trying to not let ourselves get too excited about this pregnancy until after a good US. Since I have a blocked tube, I have a higher chance of ectopic. Even with having ovulated from the good side. FX everything looks good and we can relax a little. 
  
  @businesswife Don't you have an appointment this week too?

  Yes! I do too! My first scan is on Tuesday, bright and early. DH is planning on coming with me for a change, so that will be nice. :)
  
  @SkilledSailor I know what you mean about trying not to get your hopes up too soon, but I feel like it's almost impossible. I know for me, my hopes are entirely set on absolutely everything is going to go perfectly wonderful, and beautiful, and fine!  but of course there's that nagging thought that hopefully we won't be in for a terrible surprise...

  My first scan is on Wednesday! It seems like a benefit of working with an RE is getting an earlier scan. 
  @SkilledSailor I am completely the same way- trying not to get too excited until after the first ultrasound when we hear a nice strong heartbeat. But until then, I’m trying not to let it feel real. I can’t imagine having to wait until 8 or 10 weeks for the first appointment!

  My first US is on Friday with my RE. My SO is coming with. I agree @BusinessWife and @SkilledSailor, I've been trying to reign in my excitement for the past two weeks and it's been nearly impossible.

  I have my first appointment Thursday. No scan yet but I'll be glad to go and see my doctor. I love my doctor so just seeing her and talking to her will make me feel better.

  Finally got my numbers back from Friday. Hcg at 10dpo was 35 and progesterone was excellent (I think the nurse said 10, but my toddler was talking at me) Going back tomorrow for a re-draw. Not sure if that counts as an “appointment” per se, but the board is quiet, so now you know.

  I got in and meet with the doctor on Thursday. She’ll do a bedside US. I’ve never had appointments this early! This is my first time using an actual MD now a Midwife, so it will be interesting to see the difference.

  I have my first appointment is on Friday, they said it was with a nurse, but I'm really hoping to be able to get a script for diclegis to ease up this morning sickness.

  @lizzydpt until then, you can use unisom and b+6. Those are the ingredients in diclegis. My first pregnancy was before they re-released Diclegis to the market and my ob had me on that combo the whole first (and part of second) trimester. Just make sure you get the correct version of unisom (the original, not liquid caplets). If you get generic, it will probably be less expensive than even getting a Rx filled.

  @spottedginger thanks for the info! I took diclegis from 9 weeks until I had my daughter last time and it did get expensive. I'll have to give this a try.

  UPDATE:  First scan went great! DH came with me, and we saw the gestational sac, about a centimeter or 11mm something like that, so the size of the blueberry, and then the little yolk sac inside! So, baby is an apple seed inside of a blueberry right now! LOL Labs won't be back till later today...  But today, we are definitely pregnant!

  TW scan  not what we hoped for. RE is very concerned will not develop as it should.  Currently yolk sac is too big for gestational sac. Follow up ultrasound next week.
