@bpietronicco fingers crossed for you. That wait is the worst. My first appointment got moved up from Friday until tomorrow because I haven't been able to keep down any fluids or food since yesterday. I was really hoping to avoid the HG this time, but that looks like it's not going to happen
@lizzydpt yikes, I’m sorry you’ve been having trouble keeping fluids/food down but glad you were able to get a sooner appointment. Hopefully you are able to find some relief.

Just got back from my appointment this morning. My OB called in a script for me and put in a standing order for IV fluids. Feeling a bit better now that I'm hydrated, just hoping the script will do it's job so I don't have to keep going for fluids.
Got my second betas back from yesterday: 278 at 14 dpo which is ~ 32 hr doubling time. Also, I misheard what the nurse said about my progesterone the other day. They were looking for at least ten and mine was a 41. So, I’m released until my first appt 2/7.
@bpietronicco I’m so sorry for the stress and anxiety you are feeling. I will be thinking of you and your little bean this week and hoping for better news next week.
AFM- I had my first ultrasound this morning and all of my big fears and anxiety faded away. My little bean is measuring right on target for 6 weeks 4 days and I saw a strong little heartbeat at 123bpm. I’m so relieved! DW wasn’t able to come because DS was really sick this morning so they stayed home. But when I got home she had made lists of her favorite names. It was really sweet. I know we aren’t totally out of the woods yet with miscarriage risk, but I am feeling so much better about everything. Cant wait to hear how others appointments go!
I had an ultrasound with my doctor today. She saw the gestational sac and the yolk sac, but couldn’t make out a babe. She said it could be that I’m still so early or that maybe we aren’t viable. She referred me to a radiologist for next week. I don’t know what to think - I am nervous and this week is going to seem like an eternity!

My first doctor's appointment is now completed. It was so weird to be there doing this again and made it feel so real! All we did was bloodwork and a pregnancy test along with getting prenatals and some medicine for nausea. I go back on the 29th for a dating ultrasound. Here's to hoping the next 2 weeks goes quickly!!

@starla yes, but just Walmart gummies. This wasn't planned so I just ran and grabbed something when I had a positive test. They wanted me to go on some with iron which the ones I was taking didn't have.

@lumosmaxima 6&3 - I’m trying to be positive and I certainly feel pregnant and I AM pregnant today - I’m just going to pray and trust that if this baby is meant to be, we’ll see more next week!
I had my first initial "nurse appointment" today. I left kind of upset because it almost seemed pointless because she was not able to make decisions regarding changing the "normal" schedule for prenatal care. Being high risk this didn't sit well with me, especially because she told me I would only have 1 US at 18 weeks. I had 4 by 18 weeks last time and 15 total by the time I delivered. Luckily 2 hours after my appointment she did call saying that she had spoken with the provider I was scheduled to see in 3 weeks and I will be going in on Monday for an ultrasound and provider visit after so we can discuss my MFM referral and how we will handle the rest of my pregnancy.
So sorry I have been MIA this week- it’s been tough- have been trying not to think about it. Had ultrasound today and there is a heartbeat of 115 but baby measuring a week behind and yolk sac still large. Still not looking good - but go back next week for another scan. I appreciate everyone’s support.

@bpietronicco heartbeat sounds good, and if still the same week behind and not falling further back, that sounds like OK news at least. maybe this little one just took a little extra time implanting? Keeping everything crossed for you!
