@doxiemoxie212 I don't know if I'm missing something about that board, but couldn't you just use small prep bowls? That's what I do when I'm cooking.
@izza2 I'm so impressed with your dedication to weeding out the spreadsheet. Well done you!
I'm not sure there's a day when I'm not craving ramen. We go to Momofuku Noodle Bar every Sunday for lunch. Last Sunday I finally told the chef I was pregnant. He was very concerned (/s) that truffles might not be allowed in my pregnancy diet, but I assured him it was fine. They have black truffle ramen right now and it is my fave (I think it is veg, if that's up your alley, @doxiemoxie212). Even though we go religiously on Sundays a girlfriend of mine wants to meet for dinner Saturday night and I'm thinking of suggesting it for dinner too. *insert shrug emoji*
Sorry for the back to back posts, but I have to share this with you guys because you might be the only other people who will appreciate it.
The other night my husband was talking to his mom on the phone. We said our goodbyes and proceeded with dinner. Weirdly, she called back right away. She started going on and on about the vaccines everyone needed to get before the babies come. MH is asking her what she means and all she keeps saying is "the wolf in the dress vaccine" - everyone needs to get it! It turns out she was talking about the whooping cough vaccine. So, that was hilarious. Pic in spoiler, if you want to see what she was talking about.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you were unaware, apparently GOT is not returning until next year. Thanks for toying with my emotions, HBO!
@LaceyBee522 bahaha that's too cute! Well I've got to give it to advertising on that one as clearly it had an impact! Plus, so thoughtful of your MIL to be so aware and concerned for preparing for the babies
@LaceyBee522 Literally laughed out loud at your wolf in the dress.
Are anyone else's other emotions also really on overdrive too? Like sure, I can cry at the drop of a hat BUT I have also been brought to tears from laughter so so much more as well. I find things hilariously funny sometimes now. Sure, I have always laughed, but those stomach hurting, tears rolling down laughs, were always a rare treat, but since pregnant its so frequent.
@LaceyBee522 I also laughed pretty hard when I tried to say Momofuku outloud.
@amys614 yes on emotions! I've had it happen 3x now that I've laughed at something so funny it threw me into a full fledged cry, and not a laughing cry, but a cry cry! Mainly though, I've noticed a moody disposition, and less patience... Over all I've just been a pretty big b**** lately. DH is so accepting but doesn't make me any less guilty because he's so good to me/ baby!
I didn't feel like scrolling through all of the posts on the July sex thread so maybe it happened and I didn't see it...but how was no one like "THIS IS NOT A GENDER REVEAL IDEAS THREAD!"

I realized my belly button disappeared yesterday while doing my weekly bump measurement. Its just a darker spot in the top middle of my bump now, no hole no lump just gone.
I didn't feel like scrolling through all of the posts on the July sex thread so maybe it happened and I didn't see it...but how was no one like "THIS IS NOT A GENDER REVEAL IDEAS THREAD!"
I scrolled through the ENTIRE thread waiting for SOMEONE to say this! Not one person! Not one!
They copied the OP from another BMB with the bolded part about love-titting to keep it from cluttering, but they may as well just delete that part because there's no saving that thread now!
@icecubeinthedesert - Yeah, May has a private TB group, which further made me think that we could totally do that already. I think we've already weeded out a lot more than they have. *shrug*
The logistics of it at this point are always going to be confusing and debatable, though. Like... we let everyone join who requests, and then do what... lurker sweeps every month or something? I mean, there were people who added themselves to the spreadsheet who never even participated on the BMB... I'm sure those would be the same type of people who's request to join a private group and then just never participate.
And then, like others said, where's still also early-ish (I mean, halfway through, but... kind of early?) in our pregnancies and I'm sure there may be people who won't find TB and be able to participate until closer to EDD's. [Which personally kind of irks me, because why join a group at the end when pretty much everyone else has been there since the beginning or almost the beginning? But, personal pet peeves are personal.]
I definitely feel that if we ever do a private TB group, it makes the most sense for more than one person to be a moderator. I'll never understand private BMB groups that only have the owner/moderator. *shrug*
@izza2 - A coworker of mine makes a salad whenever we have a work potluck. I don't remember what all is in the salad, but there are dry Ramon noodles crumbled up on top. It's delicious...

Guys all this ramen talk has made me so sad because I'm vegan and thought I couldn't have top ramen anymore, but I just looked it up and two flavors are vegan! So I just ordered like 100 packs from amazon and I'm crying tears of joy right now. Two day shipping can't come fast enough.

Random - I'm annoyed by the way Love Tits work. I typically bump from my laptop at work. when I love tit something the heart goes away and the number changes by my thumbnail doesn't pop up, so I'm never really sure if I loved a post or not. Also, I just read the new posts on HDBD, and I couldn't tell where I left off with the love tits because the thumbnails are so small and there's not really anything showing me if I loved a post or not. So I started loving them from the beginning only to realize I was taking AWAY some love tits from pictures I'd seen when I last looked at the post. Ugh. Sorry if I didn't love tit someone's HDBD post, I tried to love them all, but the Bump sucks.

@krashke damnnnnnnn I'm walking into work right this minute and now have to wait 8 hours to read this. At least my Friday night entertainment is set now
Let me preface this by saying my emotions have really ramped up in the last week or so. Like I’m crying about everything. I was just doing a little lurking and on the Feb’18 board, there is a post with some collective thoughts and advice from the Feb’17 BMB moms. (Nothing at all like the condescending advice I just saw from July’s My Pregnancy Hacks post.) And I am for real crying all the tears.
@mytinc I have the same issue with lovetits. Sometimes I'm re-lovetiting cause i accidentally un-lovetit
Guys, I'm having ramen for dinner. And admit I recently went about 2 wks straight having it for lunch. I'm a big ol fan. Also, My last pregnancy, I got the craving to put hot sauce in it and ugh, yum. Haven't stopped since.

@doxiemoxie212 Basically a STM who doesn’t regularly participate on their board at all barged in with a SS post with a lenghty list of her very own endorsed products and methods of dealing with pregnancy ish (from her vast knowledge of 1 previous pregnancy) and proceeded to warn any “helicopter control freak moms” to not comment on her post. The responses and GIFs were amazing and wonderful.
Just read the July post. So funny. In my old BMB after we'd all had our babies some random came on and posted her tip to feel normal with a young baby. Just shower and put on a little mascara you guys...
Also, I just ate ramen noodles. Thanks to this board.
I'm afraid I might be coming down with the stomach flu. Felt off all day and my stomach is queasy and hurts. My coworker who shares desk space with me was home sick a few days ago with stomach flu. Pray for me!
Also, just as a tangent to your BMB story: I didn’t wear makeup for like two weeks after my son was born, and when I finally put on a little mascara and blush, I felt like a freakin’ supermodel. I posted a picture on FB/insta and everyone was like “you’re glowing, mama!!!!” And I was like, no, guys, I just look slightly less like a zombie, thanks to my $6 mascara.

@sabby2 ugh that’s the worst, when you think you feel it coming on and all you can do is think about how terrible it’s going to be... fingers crossed it misses you.
Also @doxiemoxie212 I forgot to mention that my favorite part of the July drama was when @lindsayleigh1989 ventured over to Baby Center and found an exact duplicate post from the OP... which was (not)shockingly much more well received over there
@MoonOverGoldsboro thanks! I mean there is something to be said about being clean and a little make up to make one feel normal. The OP was condescending about it though, like 'it's ok to take time for yourself, baby won't die if it cries because you're in the shower, ect" Yes, mild truths but also in those early weeks there were times I hardly left the couch because a baby was always attached to my boob or would literally only nap on me. If I put her down she'd instantly wake up and scream until I fed her again. Repeat cycle.
