When I eat, the food feels like it is on TOP of my ute. So my stomach sticks out everywhere. And then it won't come out. It's overall so gross, and I wish I could poop on the reg. I'm finding it so much more irritating this time around.
Also, so still annoyed that it's been almost 3 weeks since my NIPT and STILL no results. WTAF?!
Lastly, it is the Lilly Pulitzer After Party sale this morning. I realize I won't fit in to anything very well at the moment, but still want to check it out!!!! In queue...
@WorkinWeezel I am 100% there with you. Putting in spoiler since it may be TMI
I go days and days without pooping and it's awful. I just keep trying to up my H2O intake. My Hubby bought a couple of squatty potties for our bathrooms and I have to say it has changed everything. At least when I do end up going #2 I feel like I fully go instead of that "half way" feeling like there's still more. Sooooo amazing.
@WorkinWeezel same here on the stomach/lack of pooping issues. Last night my husband came out of the bathroom whining about how he couldn't poop. He was being so pathetic about it, acting like I should drop everything to rub his belly and tell him how sorry I am. I looked at him and said "seriously?", and have not said more than 2 words to him since.
My coworker just called and asked if he can use my work computer for remote login today (I have remote access because I work from home one day a week, he does not) because he has to stay home while they fix something in his apartment. This means I have to work at his computer, and I am not happy about it. He doesn't have his own office, and his desk is in a big room that he shares with my office manager, an intern, another support person, and whoever else is working that day. I cannot stand my office manager, and I am really cranky and not feeling well today, and now I have to sit there and put up with people I don't like instead of shutting myself inside my office. It also means I can't do anything non-work related all day (like what I'm doing right now). I like my coworker and I'm willing to do him a favor, but I would have appreciated some notice so I could mentally prepare myself for this. At least we're getting snow tomorrow so I'll have an excuse to work from home in my PJs.
@WorkinWeezel yes! Immediately after I eat anything substantial I can practically see it in my stomach on top of my uterus. If I have a full bladder too I look like 6 mo pregnant.
@nimmle I LOVE the squatty potty! I bought one for our Christmas yankee swap and people fought over it.
@nimmle Yes to the squatty potty! Although it is not helping my pooping problems. I'm a FTM and already wearing maternity pants but I think it has more to do with being full of crap then the baby. It's been days!

Ok, I’m joining the I may have possibly felt the baby extremely early club. I feel crazy! saying it but it felt soooo much like early baby kicks/movement. We will see if it continues over the next few days or if it was gas.
STM and I’m 12w1d.

@djh513 My "baby movements" are definitely a combo of gas and poop movements. I could have sworn I felt a flutter yesterday but then it proved to be one of the aforementioned items. I'm only 10.5 weeks though so yeah...
I’m starting a registry. Not likely to have a baby shower since this will be my second, but just for me to organize all the things I want to buy or have my SO buy.
Did any of you decide on bottles, strollers or diapers yet?
I’m thinking about cloth diapering this baby to save money but I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle. Are any of you stm+ Moms familiar with cloth diapering?

Ah, it’s everything I remember about early baby movement from my last pregnancy, just 4 weeks earlier. We will see!

I used the search bar and came across two informative posts. I think I have an idea on how they work now. I’m leaning towards hybrid cloth diapers. I’ve seen nothing but great reviews for Charlie Banana brand.
Just saw that the September board opened up! This makes me happy to realize we are all moving right along!!!!
I want to start planning the nursery and have already been using our weekly product spotlight to start a list of things I need for baby! Just need to wait until I find out the sex- no early blood test for me.
@WorkinWeezel I had the same tummy/pooping issues and then switched to a gummy prenatal- helped SO MUCH. Plus increased my fruit and veggie intake and feeling so much better! Hope this helps.
@workinweezel I think I'm possibly having the same issues. I'm not fully aware of where everything sits yet as far as uterus location, however I have this huge lump above my belly button! I thought it was just lunch... but it's been like three days and it's still there. It's so strange.
@chicxulub yay on starting a registry, so much fun! One of my mom friends suggested registering for 1-3 brands of bottles because babies like different things. Just one suggestion I heard, I haven't looked into strollers yet, and we're doing normal diapering.
@zande2016 Sorry that you're working in a shared office today, UGH. One day of annoyance right before pajama day... you're almost there already. lol. That's what I try to keep in mind when I'm dreading the day.
@nimmle Yes to the squatty potty! Although it is not helping my pooping problems. I'm a FTM and already wearing maternity pants but I think it has more to do with being full of crap then the baby. It's been days!
We have one too and I wish it were helping my issues. I take a prenatal and colace every day and it’s still days and days before I go. It’s awful. I’m glad to hear this is very normal though.
My 2 year old DD is being insanely clingy with me and has been for over a month. I can’t figure out if this is just a phase or if it’s brought on by the pregnancy. She has been having trouble sleeping too and wanting me to go in there and hold her hand until she falls asleep. This never happens and I don’t want to start bad habits before the baby comes either but I also want to reassure her and comfort her if she is just going through some separation anxiety. Any STM’s deal with this at this age?
@gspmom21 I was looking at Phillips AVENT glass bottles for this one. With my first I had three different brands. Comotomo, Adiri and Pura Kiki. I ended up sticking with the Pura Kiki canteen bottles for him because Pura had the best system for growing with baby.
@lindsayleigh1989 I was so excited when I saw that then started searching for when she was due but couldn't find it! She's a July mamma "with" us?! That's awesome!
@lindsayleigh1989 I searched everywhere to find out when she is due! How did you find out? What if she's one of the trolls that post random BS on here?!
Anyone ever wonder if anyone on here is secretly famous and just chatting on the bump like a regular person? I had this thought after I read a story on how there are so many famous couples that are currently pregnant.

@lindsayleigh1989.... she’s due in July?! Wow!! That’s awesome. I was literally watching Fixer Upper last night when I saw Chips insta post and I screamed. Haha!
That concert was October 13. So if she ovulates regularly and Chips right about when they conceived she’s due July 7!! OMG that’s my due date! Stalker alert!

What is with the virus pop ups on the mobile app? Every time I go to read a post or comment, I get a virus pop up for winning an Amazon gift card. Damn you glitchy bump app.....

@busymommy23 SAME. I just posted in the WFTW thread.
Also, seeing Joanna Gaines' already noticeable bump makes me feel a little better about my mega (chubby) bump. I realize she's on baby 5 and I'm on 2, but still! Not saying she doesn't look great (bc she does!), just finding some comfort in a celebrity looking *mostly* like us normal folk.
When/where can we start talking about baby showers? Now that we found out we are having a girl for #2, my SILs are insistent on throwing a shower. I have always been anti second showers but their argument is that this baby deserves to be celebrated just like DS was. I need July mama feedback!
I work with birds and got bit by a falcon today (100% my bad) and am now paranoid about bacteria/infection so I've been obsessively sanitizing and washing my hands to the point that they are so dry it looks like elephant skin.
