hello! Catching up after being mia for a week and a half is tough, lol.
1. How many weeks are you? - 17+3
2. How old are your LOs? 18 months on Saturday
3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? - I felt baby move for sure this week! Such a great feeling. Anatomy scan is on the 11th- so that is exciting.
4. How’s life? - can't complain, cold, lol. going back to work after a week and a half off is hard. eek.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? with a good bit of vanilla creamer...mmmm nice and cozy
2. How old are your LOs? DS1 is 4.5, DS2 is 3.
3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? I've been feeling the baby move off and on since 16 weeks. Love that feeling. I'm still waing to hear when my (level 2) anatomy scan will be. I'm hoping to get a call today/tomorrow to get it on the schedule with MFM. They're only in town once a week and I'd prefer to not have to drive over an hour if I can't get in while they're here.
4. How’s life? Hectic. Things have been crazy busy between the move, the holidays, sick kids, etc. I just need things to slow down a bit so I can find my groove again instead of constantly feeling behind.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? Medium roast with flavored creamer (usually hazelnut, sometimes fresh vanilla).

With this being a monthly post- I am going from weeks 18 (18 weeks exactly today) to weeks 22 in January. Half way there!
2. How old are your LOs?
DD turned 1 years old last week (12/27). We to her to the Please Touch Museum (in Philadelphia) had a party for her and got her smash cake. She had to go to the pediatrician for her 1 year appointment and got 6 shots... poor little peanut. Her dr appointment was a 2:30 (which is during her nap time) and we didn't get home until 4pm. The office is 5 minutes away..... her doctors office is ALWAYS like that. They leave me in the room with a baby/toddler for what feels like forever. I am going to start looking for a new pediatrician- I don't think I can handle the wait time especially with 2 under 2. Next weekend we have her 1 year pictures scheduled and we will be getting a family picture before we expand again.
3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff?
This month we have the anatomy scan. We know it's a boy- but will be good to have some visual confirmation. We also set up a new registry for #2 at BRU yesterday for all the boy stuff, new/additional bottles/nipples, ect. We also added in stuff that I know I'll want to buy DD before June so I can get the endless earnings points- no point in buying anything that I'm not getting cash back for. I'll probably start picking up stuff slowly for the nursery this month.
4. How’s life?
Pretty good right now. I don't have to go back to work until tomorrow- which means I should be grocery shopping and cleaning the kitchen right now- I'm gonna post her and procrastinate a bit longer. DD started daycare today. She is going 3 days a week and my mom will have her for 2. It's going to be quite an adjustment for her and MH and I.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee?
I actually don't like coffee. I wish I did- I learned the meaning of tired this past year and I'm scared for next year without any help from caffeine, but I've just never developed a taste for it and caffeine in general makes my stomach upset.

3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? I have my anatomy scan on Friday, which I'm looking forward too. With an anterior placenta, I really haven't felt Two so I'm irrationally nervous all of the time.
4. How’s life? Cold. I've been sick for weeks on end.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? My H roasts his own coffee, which I drink black. But if I'm out, I use milk and sugar.

3. I can't tolerate tomatoes at all, I throw up right away after eating anything with them. I'm so bummed because pizza is my favorite lol. Still not feeling baby move yet, which is kind of making me nervous, but I can occasionally feel the lump that is baby from the outside.
4. We got home from holiday trips last week and I can't seem to get on top of the mess. I'm probably going to swallow my pride and ask DH to help (he's really good about helping, I just like to do it myself).
5. A pinch of salt (to take out the bitter taste) and tons of sugar. I can't stomach it during pregnancy apparently, which makes me sad.

3. MS is mostly gone but made occasional appearances when I ate too much fatty foods over the holidays.
4. Black for my morning coffee but for afternoon treats I like lattes. I'll occasionally buy one at a coffee shop or I'll make one with our Nespresso. DS likes to have just frothed milk in a little espresso cup. He calls it "white coffee."

2. How old are your LOs? DD is 27 mos (2y)
3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? Sleep. Could not get enough sleep over the break. That could be because DH was actually home and watching DD. I have my anatomy scan for Jan 30, we know we are having a boy, just love seeing wee one, and getting measurements etc. Believe I have felt him a few times, like once a day, getting some dancing in.... Looking forward to the regular reminders... We told our families what we are having over the holidays, and found out new friends with a 2yo are expecting 3 days after our DD, and good friends (also w a 2yo) are expecting 30 days after us!
4. How’s life? Life is good. I have YET to tell work about my rapidly expanding waist line. I have 22 days until my probation is over. And, I have pre-trial for a lawsuit coming up, over compensation from my last maternity leave. So...that's hanging over me. But soon enough... We are debating when to get DD into a big girl bed, and potty trained. Super glad she is back in daycare today.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? HOT. Which is a rare indulgence these days. Dark roast, with a bit of milk.
5 - IUIs, 3 - IVF retrievals, 2- failed transfers (fresh, and frozen), PGS on second IVF resulted in 1 perfect emby, and DD.
3rd IVF w PGS resulted in 3! perfect embys. 1st transfer - Sep 2017 2 more on ice.

3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? Pregnancy rhinitis is the bane of my existence. Anatomy scan with MFM is 1/26.
4. How’s life? Aside from someone always being sick/feeling crappy, life is pretty okay.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? I like it fairly strong, with a hint of sweetness. I like the actual taste of coffee, but gotta have a little sugar.

Feeling baby move occasionally which makes me pretty happy. Next appt is a regular one on the 10th. A/s after that.
4. How’s life?
Today has been pretty eventful. I had to go have an emergency tooth extraction this morning. One of my teeth had broken off and was murdering me last night all night. I’m exhausted but so relieved to be minus one angry tooth.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee?
I like it very rich with as much cream as possible. No sweetener whatsoever, please. I miss my coffee sooooo much.

Still sick more often than not. I have been feeling movement winch is nice. Especially on the days I feel normal. 16 week appt tomorrow and then anatomy scan on the 31st probably.

ugh. I am a grump. I hate how angry I am but I can't seem to help it. My emotions are up and down and it is making my husband frustrated too.

3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? I think I might be starting to feel baby move, but it's definitely hit or miss. Tonight we have our gender scan at this fun, cute little ultrasound place. It's more of a novelty place called "My Little Me" but they do gender scans at 16 weeks and do tons of 3D/4D pictures. I'm excited to see this little one!
4. How’s life? Life so far is going good, we've been in the midst of a remodel since August, so I'm proud to say by the end of this week I should have a fully functioning kitchen again!! (yay!!)
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? I'm more into the Lattes and Mochas. I love the smell of coffee, just hate the bitterness of it! I need some sugar and syrup to make it taste good!

Anatomy scan 1/15, can’t wait! Really no symptoms other than headaches. If I didn’t feel baby moving a couple times a day I would probably forget that I’m pregnant.
DD’s 36 month check up is tomorrow so I’m excited to tell our pediatrician that we have another one coming!
4. How’s life?
It’s been super cold, in the -10 to -20 range the past week. Could handle it being a bit warmer, but maybe a bit more snow- DH is self employed and does snow removal during the winter, so he’s kind of driving me up a wall without having much work to do

Black! My favorite is Gloria Jeans Hazlenut, but it’s harder to find a wonderful decaf hazlenut K-pod

i've been getting frustrated with baby movement. Pretty sure I have an anterior placenta (per elective US tech and cause DS' starting wks earlier). But as of yesterday, I'm feeling him a lot more. He gave me a good few mins of straight wiggling yesterday. I froze and didn't move for fear it'd stop.
4. How’s life?
i was thinking. Having a kid already is making this go so much faster cause I'm not always just thinking about baby. Then not only are we preparing for baby in the next few months, we'll be doing kindergarten sign ups/decisions plus end of school year stuff. May will be here in no time.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee?
I don't do coffee. I love a good French vanilla cappuccino though. 'Good' as in the cheap fake stuff from a gas station coffee dispenser or powder mix at home lol. Baby doesn't like sweet though, so haven't had it in months.

A/S is on the 15th. No real pregnancy symptoms at the moment but I feel like I’m getting sick. My throat is killing me today. I’m loving feeling kicks and wiggles. Really wish I didn’t have an anterior placenta because I’m pretty sure I’d be seeing some of them too.
4. How’s life?
I’m ready to get back to our normal routine. It’s been nice having DH home but it throws Off our daily routine a bit.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee?
I like a medium roast with cream and sugar.
Mattress on the floor is a good temporary option if you can't find a bed you like before baby 2 arrives plus it is safe if your toddler rolls out.

Been feeling baby off and on for a couple of weeks. But the last few days she has been going crazy, so it’s fun to have more consistent movement. My best friend has officially started planning our baby shower, which is fun. I’m waiting to hear back from my midwife about scheduling the Anatomy Scan. Excited to see this little one again.
4. How’s life?
Life is good. Getting back to normal after all the craziness of having so many people in town for the holidays. Now that life has settled back down, we are going to try to start transitioning DS out of our room and into his room. We coslept (side car crib)/bed shared with him from day 1. When we bought and moved into our house in April, the crib never went up and we have just had him sleeping on a twin mattress on the ground next to our bed. So he’s been on a separate sleeping surface at a different elevation from ours for about 9 months. Hoping that helps in this transition. DH plans on sleeping on a mattress on the floor next to DS’s bed for a few nights to help him adjust. So we will see how it goes from there. My hormonal pregnant self cried last night and this morning about him moving to his own room. Don’t get me wrong, I’m ready for him to be in his own room, and I think he is too. And I am definitely ready for DH and I to have our own space again for a bit before baby arrives. But it sounds going to be weird having him in another room at night. It’s going to be an adjustment for me too.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee?
I am definitely a “lots of cream and sugar” type girl. When you see those pics on social media with the different colors of coffee representing more or less cream, I am usually at like the second lightest photo.

2. How old are your LOs? About to be 1 on 1/10! I can't believe it. I also still haven't sent out his birthday party invitations, but since it's just immediate family and they already know when it is, I'm trying not to feel like an *sshole.
3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? Feeling a lot more movement, like most of you! This is literally weeks earlier than my first (I had an anterior placenta, too), so it's very exciting.
4. How’s life? I'm feeling super stressed about work. I'm teaching two classes along with a bunch of workshops in Jan/Feb, and then there's just my normal workload. I definitely said "yes" to too many things last quarter! My son is also just starting PT/OT appointments, which I'm very excited about, but it's definitely going to eat into my normal work time. Yikes, overall.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? Dark roast, with cream. If I want a little sweetener, I prefer honey or maple syrup over sugar. More flavor! Related: I am currently loaded up with Starbucks gift cards for some reason, so I've been stopping in for lattes on the way to work. I am not a fan of regular Starbucks coffee, but their floofy holiday lattes have really been hitting the spot. The peppermint mocha is basically a hot milkshake, and I'll take it. Especially when it's free!

3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? We have our anatomy scan next week which is exciting. Not to many symptoms other than some nice heartburn and starting some dance parties at bed time.
4. How’s life? Life is good but crazy as always. Getting ready to take DD to Disney next month with my family which is exciting.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? Medium roast with salted Carmel creamer...I've cut back a lot since getting pregnant but it sure sounds good right now

I am anti gender reveal parties (for myself! for others, whatever floats your boat), but I still bought confetti cannons and we will reveal it to ourselves in the backyard with DD and my sister will come over to hand us the appropriate confetti cannons and record it.
4. How’s life? I am so glad the holidays are over. This is the first time in my life I have ever said that. We had a GREAT Christmas - no complaints - but it is all just so.much. It feels nice to have life back.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? I am a black tea lover. Nothing fancy, just 2 tea bags of good old Lipton every single morning rain or shine.

3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? Second tri has brought some fun new symptoms: insomnia and heartburn (both of which I had last time but I remember it starting much later). Next appointment is Thursday - only my second one for this pregnancy...I didn't realize how far out it was scheduled and I'll be almost 16 weeks (probably because of the holidays). Trying not to buy all the girl clothes after finding out DS is getting a sister...at least until the AS confirms

Holiday travel was fun and stressful (especially with a toddler cutting his first 2 molars...but he slept until 6:30am on Christmas - the best gift he could have given me). Hubby went back to work today so its back to "real life" over here. I still feel like its weird being a stay at home mom when everyone goes back to work...

4. How’s life? meh. My uncle is dying of pancreatic cancer. My mom is in a grief spiral (widowe'd 2 years ago). Plus, it's pretty cold here right now (think -20 at night).

life has been.. rough. DH is in his slow season and has been off of work for almost a month now. Love having him home, but it hurts the finances.. hoping he can find work soon to last him until his season starts up again in spring. DD had the flu a few weeks ago, and then last week she split her lip completely in half on our coffee table and needed stitches. Today we had to get them removed and I think we are all traumatized from that experience. BUT! I’ve started buying things for baby and it is making me SO anxious to meet this baby girl! I can’t believe we are almost halfway there!

Ultrasound today! Nothing crazy with symptoms. I was having trouble keeping food down, but that has cleared up. I’m waking up really early, but I get up at 5:00 for work anyway, so I’m trying to embrace it.
4. How’s life?
Pretty good. DH and I have been on winter break. Sending DD to daycare today so we can go to the ultrasound and then have some time together. We had a bit of a family emergency the other week and are still trying to bounce back. I’m trying to practice more self care and make time for yoga or meditation. Anyone else do Yoga with Adrienne?

@BurlapandLace Good luck with the sleep transition! I swear, it is always harder on us than the kids. I felt the same way during each transition with DD. She always did great - I was always a mess.
@MoonOverGoldsboro I went to MFM for my NT scan, and the lady said there wasn't much difference between the level 1 or level 2. She said they take like 5 more pics or something silly like that. I was supposed to get a 2, but MFM didn't think i needed it anymore.
@momac1919 Disney sounds awesome!! Are you staying in the park? My ILs have like a 3 year plan for us all to go.

MS is definitely dying down which is awesome. I had it 24/7 for my entire pregnancy with DD. Normal appt Tuesday, and hopefully scheduling my anatomy scan with them so I can cancel my level 2 with MFM. Excited to find out the sex too, so we can start putting the nursery together.
4. How’s life?
Its going. I need to find motivation again. I've been slacking on the housework, and teacher responsibilities, and I just really need to get back into it again. I'm hoping by stopping my Diclegis, that will help. Also debating on coaching girls soccer again. The money would be super nice, but I am SO ready to walk away from it.
5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee?
i LOVE the frozen caramel things you can get from Wawa/Sheetz type place. Otherwise, a good medium roast with Caramel creamer. yum!

3. Symptoms/Appointments/Fun Baby related stuff? anatomy scan on the 19th! H put the crib up in our room a couple weeks ago, it's been fun seeing him really getting into preparing for this one. ((Probably because he gets to take the reins for a marvel themed nursery))
4. How’s life? so so chaotic. Our son is in an advanced program at school, which has been a beautiful thing for him, there is just a ton of stuff going on for him the next 2 months, on top of working full time+then some. All.exciting thiknhs, just super busy!

May14th2011; marcus7676 - DD is wild in her bed all over the place at night so I def picture her falling out of the foot gap in the toddler bed rails, lol…also probably me being paranoid. I also envision her just getting out of bed and playing…so theres that too. Hubs said if we get a little heater for the garage he can build a bed for her (def going right to twin to avoid having to buy another crib sized mattress). I’m pretty pumped about that because I think we can design something that is daybed-esque but have a rail on the exposed side that is full length for now but removable for later…yay
@sunshineandwhiskey- holy tags! Well done, ha. I had to open up a word doc to draft this one up, haha
DD was too little for 75% of the museum at 1 years old- and it's the only museum that starts charging at 1 years old too. She did like the toddler area and the nursery rhyme room and we did the carousel too. If I had to plan it again I might have opted for the aquarium instead- but I'll also probably become a member by the time she is 2 years old.

5. GTKY: How do you like your coffee? Not a huge coffee drinker, but when I do drink it it's loaded with cream and sugar. I like a little coffee with my creamer.

DS2 has a heart defect, which was noticed during my regular anatomy scan last pregnancy and why I had to have a level 2. This time, with his history, they're just doing a level 2 and then I'll have a fetal echocardiogram in February.
