I feel like I need a nap though to be productive at all. We were at my in-law's until 11 last night and I'm normally in bed no later than 9. I didn't sleep super well between not being able to get into a comfortable position, getting super hot/sweaty, and having to get up to pee. Plus I had my first cervical check this morning and now I'm crampy and uncomfortable.

My mom is frustrating and crazy. I'm mad at her, but I'm also sad that things are the way they are.
My house needs to get done soon. We had some issues with water lines freezing over the weekend and that is just stressful.
Work. I'm 38 weeks and still working. I worked extra last week because of my replacement. I don't have an option to take vacation or PTO because my company is too small for that, I don't have short term disability so my leave is unpaid. And my bonus kinda sucked! It didn't change from last year and I did a hell of a lot more terms of responsibility.
So TW and WTF to all of it.
I love reading all the new birth announcements!!
As for me, I have a major TW from yesterday. We had lunch at my MIL's for Christmas and her friend was there. MIL and her friend are pretty out there (from my perspective) and are very into things like astrology. Well, the friend was asking me about the due date and pulled out her astrological calendar. She looks it over for a few minutes, laughs and says, "Wow, your daughter is going to be a sex pot!" I shot her the nastiest look I could and immediately left the room. A few minutes later, we head to the table to eat, and now that MIL is in the room she repeats what the calendar said, to which MIL replies, "She will make lots of money." The friend scoffed and said,"Yeah, probably in porn." WTF?!? Excuse me but 1). I don't believe in astrology, 2). In what world is it appropriate to say something like that about an unborn baby??? I couldn't even look at her the rest of the day. I'm still so mad.
I agree with needing the nap. I wish I could work from home but I can't access what I need. There is also almost nobody here today.
@schaze I hope she decides to take morning naps again. Maybe when the baby comes she'll want to nap when baby naps. Or would she take a nap with you?
@schaze DD went to one nap a day usually right before lunch like 2 months ago. Our only saving grace is she goes to bed at 645pm. Not sure how this 2 baby thing is going to go.
Not much of bitch, the opposite in fact. We are being discharged in a few hours. DD2 passed all her tests last night. I miss DD1 so much and am so happy to go home and figure this out

WTF to this cold!?! I haven’t been sick once my entire pregnancy, and now I get a horrible cold the week of my due date? Between the not being able to breathe, and the constant coughing, I feel like
I'm dying. Plus, I think DD might be coming down with it too. Nooooooooo!!!! I just need us all to be healthy for LO’s arrival!

@kelk5 I here you on the not having time. My office closed the 21-Jan 3 but I also don’t get paid for any of that time. I have to use pretty much all of my PTO and there is a 2 week wait before my short term disability kicks in. Cue the freak out!
My TW/WTF is long: DH will be leaving Jan. 8 for 2 weeks for military stuff. Our nursery was a disaster from baby gifts that were never sorted, Christmas stuff being piled in there, and transitioning it from a guest room. Today, I put away all of our Christmas stuff (including carrying our live tree outside) except our outside lights, organized the nursery so it’s ready for babe, did laundry, and put away all of Christmas gifts. Nothing was taken to the attic and half the stuff I asked him to do last week was not so it made everything a million times harder and THEN when she calls from the potty for help, I said I’ll let you go. Do you know what this man said, Of course you will.
I could have screamed. I was organizing and cleaning from 740 this morning until 430 this evening!!! I took the early morning with DD too.

Yup, I found out about it last month. He said well you went overdue with DD, so we should be okay. This a different ball game though!
I will say as long as labor isn’t super quick, he said he should be able to make it back before the event, but still leaves me super pregnant and solo with a sassy 3 year old!
I feel like a butthead because after I posted he ran a lavender infused epsom salt bath for me, but I would have liked the help more.
I'm so far not dilated either, by at least it's softened, so we'll see. With DS biting happened until I was in actual labor, so I'm still relaxed...
As for work, that would be the other TW as I'm being forced to take maternity leave, with no pay, when we need the income, and it's the tune when I could make good money, so I'm annoyed... We have everything figured ou when it comes to taking care of baby, so that would not be an issue.

So I just ended up pointing out body parts like her feet and her butt so that they felt like they got something out of it. Over it...
Oh also my kid isn't really a kicker she just pushes up against my belly randomly ( so I can't really give you a good time to put your hand on my belly to feel it...) or she just shimmies which is super awkward to feel and has zero timing (again I can't tell you when it'll happen) Thankfully everyone has headed back to their own houses so I don't have to deal with that anymore.

@mindaa I could try pumping! Currently, just trying to keep moving, drinking the RRLT/eating dates (not like these actually induce labor. I definitely am not willing to try castor oil yet especially because I don't feel like my body is favorable for that. I've never done acupuncture or acupressure before. Have you?
@TInman87 so frustrating right? I thought I'd be having a baby this week so took the week off and if I didn't I thought for sure I'd be busy. Nope-because I already did everything and now I'm bored. I think I need some retail therapy today. Had a weird episode last night after putting DS to bed where I got all hot and the chills. Puked once, had some diarrhea and was fine. No one else is sick so not sure if something didn't sit right but secretly hoping this was a pre-labor cleanout. The irrational thoughts that go through my head are ridiculous.
@coniemi the man flu comment had me LOL. So funny and so relatable.
