@leilaquinn I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm glad you're being monitored closely though. I hope LO stays in there for a long time still! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts!
@leilaquinn all of that really sucks. It’s good that you’re being diligent though and you have doctors taking care of you. You’re probbaoy sick of hearing this but try to just stay calm and remember that you’re in great hands.
I suck at remembering, how many weeks along are you now?
@leilaquinn Fingers crossed for you and the babe. It sounds so stressful, but at least you're being closely monitored. Whatever happens I'm sure will be what's best for both of you.
Thanks guys. @ShawnnaO I am 29 weeks and 3 days. @KZ1126 I think you are being beyond reasonable. I will never understand why getting married brings out such weird behavior in some people!
WTF... work sucks today. It's a TW lol. I have to have ACH done by 3pm and the head of my accounting department is in a meeting until 3 so I had to weirdly interrupt that so I could get approval to move on with my payables. Awka-awkward. Then, I have our network support on the phone trying to download programs on my computer so I can do this ladies job for her tomorrow while she's gone, all while trying to maintain my sanity and do 3 people's jobs. Seriously.. I wish I could have about 4 glasses of wine right now.
This may seem stupid but I’m waiting on my doctor’s office to call so I can schedule my repeat c/s... I went for a checkup on Tuesday and my doctor gave me the impression that I would be able to schedule it that day. Well, I go in, super excited that we’ll get to figure out the date, and he gives me a paper to give to the front desk when I leave. I go to the front desk and give the girl the paper, and she says that a girl named Amanda will call me. Well, Amanda still hasn’t called and now it’s Thursday. Lol. Amanda, where are you?!

Soooo I was pretty sure pregnancy brain wasn't a thing. Until I poured scalding hot water on my left hand because I decided not to actually look where I was pouring my tea. WTF is wrong with me.
@vflux33 I'm experiencing Pregnancy Brain + Mom Brain!! The struggle is definitely real! My life is kept somewhat in check by a notepad that I have to write everything down on...currently busting out my Christmas prep list that is carefully thought out so I don't forget anything! I hope your hand is ok!!!
@cford08 thinking of you too! What do they want your activity level to be from here?
thanks everyone so much for the good thoughts, it really means a lot.BP is a little better today, I am already a little antsy but appreciating every minute I can be bored and worried at home and not the hospital.
Thanks, guys. Yeah it's definitely a thing, and I have a burn to prove it. Thankfully, after hours of cold water I don't see a blister so I think it's mild first degree and doesn't need any treatment or anything. Whew!
@DDRRT1982 Thanks for asking! Not *really* any definitive answers... It's happened a bunch of times and I haven't gone into labor so no one seems very alarmed. The perinatal nurses are all telling me to limit physical activity since it seems to trigger the extended tightening. I mentioned what you said too about how it may be that they are moving toward the outer part and space is getting more constricted and they said that could definitely explain it especially since I've never been pregnant before and I may have a hard time knowing what's what. I'm 28 weeks, but measuring 34 in fundal height as of yesterday (normal for twins) so if this is something other ppl such as yourself experience toward the very end then maybe it's not weird after all.
@leilaquinn I can no longer be on my feet for longer than 6 hours. It's a real rule now as opposed to a suggestion earlier on. I'm sure you totally get it owning a salon. I've gone as light of duty as I can as a RN in my unit and I don't have the option to switch units anymore. My MFM is just happy if I make it to February, so we'll see!
@kalawa girl I'm so happy to see you're holding at >2.0cm! Other than not being on my feet long than 6 hours, I really am not to be lifting, pulling or pushing more than 10 pounds. I've been able to stick to the lifting part. I think being on my feet and LO getting bigger was my downfall last week.
@cford08 Let's just keep these babies in there. Each day I go to bed...I think one more day inside. I'm allowed one errand a day, and light house work. But same, no lifting, pushing or pulling. I guess it's a goos excuse to read at my IL's for the next two weeka though...and eat too much.
So I have my dress update. It got finished 24 hours before the wedding.... and it zipped which was wonderful, but my bra showed under the arms, and I had to safety pin the back together which was totally visible. So I wore a little shawl in the same fabric to cover it. During the first kneeling part of the ceremony, all of the safety pins either came loose or ripped through the fabric and poked my back and fingers when I clumsily fixed it!!!! Luckily the bride gave us beautiful pashminas that we were allowed to wear for the reception so I just kept that on all night. So in the end it worked out for the most part, hopefully my now SIL will be super pregnant next wedding she is in for a little karmic payback....

You and baby are in my thoughts, I hope they can keep you and baby comfortable until a safe delivery date.
