Re: Symptoms w/o 12/11

  • @hayhay93 YES! I sneeze all the time!
Nausea. Exhaustion. Bloat. I have the feeling of a ball in my pelvic area, it hurts to bend over. Already having a hard time getting out of bed (physically and because I don't wanna). Round ligament pain.

  • @hayhay93 I still have the tail end of a cold but I noticed my sinuses are a little dry and tend to congest. I saw this as a 9/10 w symptom, but it could be a combination of the dry weather here and the last bits of this stupid cold!
  • I don't know how I'm going to get through work today, being all friendly and shit. I'm SO FREAKING TIRED. LOL, I got , like 9.5 hours of sleep last night, but I feel all sleep deprived and nauseous this morning. I just wanna get back in bed. Stupid work. Bleh. Oh well, at least today is my Friday!
  • Nausea, food aversions, bloating, dehydration, exhaustion, night sweats. This morning I made the mistake of tasting some egg salad that I usually like. NOPE. Nope nope nope nope nope.

I'm not sure what round ligament pain is supposed to feel like, but I have these weird pains when I roll over in bed that feel like I suddenly pulled a muscle in my abdomen. Is that round ligament pain?
  • @beanship yep! That's it. So lovely, right?
  • @beanship yeah sounds like RLP. Mine is worse the second time around and doc said it would be. I feel a sharp pulling pain near my hip bones/sides of uterus especially when I’m rolling around in bed.
  • @SmashJam @wildtot Thanks! It's a relief knowing that my random pains are normal! I didn't dare google it because I was sure I'd end up thinking my uterus had ruptured or something  :D
  • @christycalifornia add me to the balloon uterus club. Also, the top of my stomach above my belly button is hard, almost like my organs have already shifted up there? I probs should participate in HDBD but my outfit is not cute today.

This just made me LOL. Someone needs to remind you to dress cute next Wednesday so we can see that bump!

Soooo, I literally almost puked on my coworker and a complete stranger today. I was already feeling sick this morning, threw up at Orlando International Airport (first for me) and was kind of nauseous on the plane. We had a pretty rough landing in StL and that just made things worse. It was way too hot and there were too many people and I just knew I was gonna be sick. My coworker looked at me and could tell Too, so she grabs the bag out of the back of the seat (you know the air sick bags? Yeah, not ideal) I made it off the plane, but just barely. Oh, and did I mention that the third dude in our aisle was SUPER hot (of course...). It’s been a rough day!

  • Consistent cramping again today. But I wouldn’t call it intense or severe it’s just there and annoying...and scary. Besides that- fatigue is still kicking my damn ass, I can’t get comfortable in bed so I’m tossing and turning all night. Wishing I had MS or something to make me know this baby is still in there....
  • Bloat for days, gas that puts the local fraternity to shame. the nausea in the afternoon/evening needs to take a long walk off a short pier. The not wanting to eat unless it's french fries. constant tossing and turning at night, then having to pee 4 times a night. Oh! and the round ligament pains. Who the f*ck thought these should be another symptom of pregnancy?!?! FFS!! I'm annoyed at everything. I'm with @runsomewhere, staying home under the covers.

  • I feel guilty complaining and even bringing this up since I feel great 99% of the time but I'm having a rough afternoon.

I've been hungry and pigging out recently which I started feeling bad about. I actually had a bit of a freak out last night about my eating and worrying about gaining too much.

So today I ate a healthy breakfast and a light lunch. Then I got stuck working almost an hour late. I left work feeling kinda shaky and starving. I take public transportation and I was so shaky and lightheaded standing on the crowded train I started panicking thinking I'd faint. It was awful. I ended up getting a seat after a while and felt a little better but even now I feel icky. I'm so uncomfortably hungry, freezing and feeling weak. Hubby offered to pick up anything I want for dinner but everything that sounds good is so heavy. I don't know how to balance my eating out right now and I'm overwhelmed.

  • @runsomewhere I have to eat lots of snacks through the day, when I'm out and about I'll pack them in my purse. Part of that is just me overpacking for a toddler, but it really comes in handy for emergency mom snacks. I hate that starving but can't eat feeling  :s
  • @runsomewhere definitely smaller meals through the day. I am focusing on eating nutritious foods every day and follow a 80/20 rule like before pregnancy. Basically doing my best to eat healthy 80% of the time. Pig outs will happen but as I'm aslp trying to stay active I hope my body will put on weight in a balanced way. Easier said than done...I made a healthy lentil soup today but I'm pretty sure I ate two servings...

Add the bitching to my symptoms today. Just had an argument with the FedEx employee who wanted to charge me $7 per card to change the size of a stupid file when my local FedEx has done it many times for me before. Basically just fitting two small pages on one A4 page. So dumb. These are my announcement cards for our parents and my best friend. Uuuugh!
  • @acunamatada I think always having snacks on hand is a good idea, I'm going to start doing that. For me it's been that starving and CAN eat all the food feeling ugh.

@kissableviv That is what I usually do. I eat mostly clean and healthy but don't deny myself the occasional pizza or huge brunch out. I'm also pretty active so it feels like a healthy balance. Now I feel like it's all thrown off with so much heavy food and less activity, it doesn't feel good.

  • @Duckie678 I’m glad to know I’m not the only one but sorry that you’re dealing with this annoyance as well!! Lol

@kissableviv Schucks. We have dry weather here in Albuquerque too and I’m not used to it yet, so I guess the burning sensation could be from my nose drying out after blowing it 10 trillion times lol. Today I bought some Puffs Plus with lotion and my nose hasn’t felt better in weeks! I’m 11 weeks 3 days, but my sneezing and runny nose started around 7 weeks. So I think it’s possible to have cold like symptoms at any point!
  • Nausea, all-day sickness, fatigue, gas, bloating and some RLP has been making it a really miserable couple of weeks. I can't wait to hit the second trimester and hope this all goes away!

@runsomewhere something that has helped me, as I am not eating too healthy these days, is knowing that at any time i could be struck with not wanting to eat anything. I know when the second tri comes around I might go through phases where I am just not hungry, and even right now most of the time food doesn't sound good, so when something is going to make me feel less awful AND I can stomach it, I eat it. I know its hard not to stress out about losing all the weight later, but if it makes you feel better I was moderately active and ate like crazy with DS and gained 30 lbs. I had a hard time eating with DD and gained....30lbs. Its like my body did what it needed to regardless of my habits. Try not to be so hard on yourself.  Also once you get to second tri you might feel more like being active. Right now I can't work out at nap time because I am so tired I nap instead, and I am hoping that subsides after week 13.

ETA: word change that was less assholey sounding, lol, as that was not my intention!
  • @SmashJam thank you, I do hope it changes in the second tri and that I have more energy to workout more. With DD I gained 25-30 but I started off 12lbs lighter than this time. I don't think I ate that well during that pregnancy but it's almost like I can't remember even though it was 2 years ago. By the time I came home from the hospital I was almost back at my normal weight and felt really good. I don't want to me miserable and out of shape after this one because I over ate :(

  • 10W3D, and the nausea & exhaustion I thought had gone came back with a vengeance and brought an unwelcome friend named dizziness! So dizzy I laid down to take a (2.5 hr !!) nap and literally dreamt about being dizzy.
DH has been patiently waiting hours for me to get dressed so we can go eat. Dreading it.
  • Ugh, I've been nauseous today too. Also went to bed way too late and didn't sleep well. Dragging myself to a Christmas party tonight but I'm so exhausted!
  • I just got out of the ER due to dehydration. I have HD and feel like this baby's going yup kill me.
  • So freaking cold all the time!
  • I am usually cold, and the house is not super warm (DH is a 63 degrees always kind of person), and I have been SO SO SO cold lately! I thought it was my normal self but maybe its being pregnant!

Oh no!! I hope you get rest and lots of fluids and things get better for you very soon!
  • Ladies - so sorry I’ve been MIA. I can barely stand to look at my phone without getting serious vertigo/depth perception/motion sickness. Ugh when will this first trimester yuck end?!? I’ve been waiting and waiting and waiting for my first appointment and I finally get to go this week. I need a light at the end of the tunnel here! Excuse me while I go barf.
