i've been feeling that way too. I wasn't sure if my metabolism finally caught up with my sudden gain or if all the extra veggies I was trying to include just weren't cutting it in the hunger games.

@klburke88 lol. I hear there are some people who gain hardly any weight in the third trimester and are too “full” to eat much. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I wake up hungry in the middle of the night toward the very end.

Augh this is me. I mean i don't know about the no weight part but my appetite is way down. And if i eat too much (like normal pre-pregnancy portions) i get wicked indigestion and feel disgustingly full and sick.
I went to the midwife today and my GTT tesr was 0.2 above the cut off at the one hour mark. So she said she has to refer me to the diabetes clinic And I have to meet with a dietician about decreasing carbs and eating healthy now. But I don’t wanna!

@beach_mama I am right there with you. I have conversations with baby boy about needing to share some space so I have room to eat. My belly always feels like it's going to pop after I eat.

Ugh, this is me too. Not the weight gain part, lololol, but definitely the eating part. I get full super easy and get awful reflux. If I eat too much I always end up vomiting. I hate it.
On the plus side, the SECOND my children fly from my body?! I'm back to normal. I can drink carbonation, and french fries, and crave food. I love post-delivery time in the hospital cuz I send my people on food cravings runs (yay breastfeeding appetite) AND eat my hospital meals while snuggling my new little bug and DH and watching TV/movies.

Wow!! You gals are eating healthy!! I've been super busy the last 2 weeks baking and decoating cookies (I have a side business where I bake custom made desserts) so I've literally been eating whatever I can find in the fridge super quick. Usually it's leftover pizza, dinner from the night before, chex mix, ect. Nothing good for me. Definitly going to start eating better after the holidays. My scale needs to stop going up!!
My DD1 drained me like a bellyful of tapeworms in third tri, so the fact this baby hasn't yet upped my hunger levels is weird to me.
My real struggle with eating will be when I am BFing. I ate about 3k calories a day with DD1 to try to keep up with her. Once I stopped BFing, I sucked at getting my calories back under control, so I gained quite a bit of weight. I am hoping once I wean DD2, I can get back to trying to be healthy.
@nessa1632 if it sounds good (or at least reasonably appetizing) to you, oatmeal is really good at making you feel full and help keep your blood sugar stable for a bit.

I am sending DH out for oatmeal, cereal, and almond milk. Desperate times call for desperate measures. But I’m also making a big pot of popcorn after dinner to satisfy a craving!
Orange juice every morning like 4 glasses and rootbeer in the evenings.
I am obsessed with Bolognese and my lovely boyfriend makes it for me every single week and I just love him so much because some weeks it’s twice a week.
aversions: absolutely zero chicken it totally grosses me out now
@ladythrice I am only on a steak and potatoes kick any of that good comfort food
