Brian Christopher was born via emergency c-section 11/20 @ 5:09 am. Stats: 7 lbs 3 oz. & 20.5 inches. His original due dates were 11/28 & 11/30. He's already nursing like a champ (something I didn't experience with DD). We're so in love with our rainbow baby.

Luke Patrick was born Nov 21 at 9:04 in the morning via repeate c section. He weighed in at 8 pounds 15 ounces and 21.5 inches long. We are totally in love! ❤️

After 48 hours of labor, water breaking and dilating to 1cm, then having to get pitocin and an epidural to progress...it was followed by 3.5 hours of pushing and they decided to cut off the epidural and the most painful 30 minutes of my life without pain meds and had to use forceps (I cussed our the doctor lol), Zoey made her arrival at 10:45am on 11.22.17!

Allison Elizabeth showed up right on time at 8:00 AM on the 20th! 8lbs 1 oz, 20 1/2 inches long, she is a wonderful addition to round out our family of boys. She is nursing great and is super snuggly!

Elise was born 11/21 at 37 weeks 6 days. I went to my regular weekly appointment and they were concerned about high blood pressure, so my doctor made the call to schedule me that evening (repeat c-section). I have had some bp problems sticking around but it seems to be evening out with meds. Baby is fine, taking bottles like nobody’s business!

Rowan Christine was born on 11/22/17 at 8:10am. She weighed 9lbs 2oz and 22 inches long. Only two days late. On 11/21 I went and had my regular ob visit and since I was past my due date they went ahead and swept my mebranes. After spending the whole day feeling fine I thought nothing was going to happen. At around 10pm contractions started and by 3am they were 2-3 minutes apart and my midwife told me to head to the hospital. Just 5 hours later and 25 minutes of pushing she was born! She’s healthy and happy!

Henry Weston Mabee born 11/25 @ 1235am 8lb 19.5 inches After a 52 hour induction. Pushing was much easier than I expected, but my placenta was scarred to my uterus and that took longer to get out than he did

Lilly Anne arrived at 2:34 pm on 11/25. 20.75 inches long, 8 lbs 4 oz. Real intense contractions started around 8:45 this morning about 10 minutes apart. I had been having sporadic contractions the past 3 or 4 days. I arrived at the hospital, and was dilated to a 10. Within probably 45 minutes of arriving, and 8 or 9 pushes, she was here.

Avery was born at 2:57am Nov 27
Not the labour I had wanted, but she arrived safely after 43 hours (lots of back labour, an epidural, an episiotomy, and help from forceps) Couldn't be more in love with our 9lb 0.8oz, 22" long baby girl!

I know we are supposed to limit actual responses on thread...but let's face it, we have a slow board anyway and I don't think it's going to get too flooded.

Anyway....Knottie19640588 congratulations on your beautiful baby girl! Your labor sounds almost identical to my experience. I had all that minus the episiotomy which they were close to doing because my perineum was too tight and preventing her from getting out. The forceps saved me from a c-section, but they hurt like hell when they cut off the epidural.

All that to say, sorry your labor wasn't what you had expected, I feel you on that. But glad your little bundle of joy has arrived safe and healthy! Enjoy those snuggles!

My Thanksgiving blessing!! Jackson Howard was born 11/23/2017 at 5:23am. We were planning to report to the hospital on 11/28/2017 to induce labor and deliver on my actual due date 11/29 but at my OBGYN visit on 11/22, my blood pressure was elevated and admitted to the hospital.

Austin was born on 11/25 at 3:35 pm after 45 hours of labor and a csection. He was 8 lb. 1 oz. and 21 3/4 inches with a 15 inch head. I went to be induced on 11/23 at 8 PM and was in the hospital until 11/28. My water broke at 4 am and at some point I spiked a fever, so I had to have antibiotics added to my IV full of other drugs. I had to be put to sleep because my third epidural stopped working and I couldn't move past an 8 dilation wise despite the Cytotec and Pitocin at a 20. I was in too much pain. It was all related to being stuck in bed for too long with my herniated disc and his big head. My husband could not see our son be born as I could feel them poking me with the scalpel and demanded to be put to sleep. Well really I was crying and shaking so badly that I'm not sure they had a choice. I kept crying, saying that I felt like his head was trying to come. Not sure if my BP spiked or what, but I heard something about mag (magnesium?) and they were suddenly rushing me to the OR. I was out of it for a long time. Austin was not breathing, but a quick smack to the tush got him going and he did not have any NICU stay. Still on some painkillers due to major back / hip issues and going to physical therapy every day.

Jack Leydon was born on November 13th via repeat c-section. 9lbs 8oz. Operation and recovery was smooth and I was able to go home after two days in the hospital!

Edited to add: I'm sorry this post is so long! Guess I have a lot to get off my chest!

Sorry it took me so long to post after I shared that I was being induced! It did not go well, but our beautiful SON (it's a boy!), Theodore, arrived the evening of December 2nd. 8 lbs 9 oz, 22.5 inches long, 15 inch head. It turned out I was already in early labor when I arrived for induction early in the morning on 12/1 with some contractions and I think 3 inches dilated. They wanted to start me on pitocin immediately but I asked to start with Cytotec first in hopes that would work. It did! I had excellent, regular contractions all day and progressed a bit, but then they started to fade. I agreed to start pitocin and labored without an epidural for quite a while (maybe 10-12 hours? I'm not sure...) until they had pumped it up so much I could not bear it, and I found out I had been stuck at 7cm for the last 4 hours of hard labor. After a few more hours I was fully dilated and ready to go and started pushing, but unfortunately the epidural was not working as I was having insane back labor thanks to my sunny-side-up baby with a big ol' head. I had three boluses (not sure if that's how you spell it -- but the anesthesiologist topped off the epidural with three more big doses) and each one would only kind of help for a few minutes. I pushed with all I had for three hours and the baby did not descend at all during that period. I was absolutely defeated at this point, and in so much pain, and I got a c-section. Although the whole process was incredibly hard, the c-section was the worst. The anesthesia did not work and I felt like I was living a horror movie. When the baby came out we were both screaming like madmen. We went home three days later, and our son is now 6 days old and is absolutely wonderful.

Our team green Baby due 11/26 ended up being a December boy! My water broke at 6:00 am on December 1. Contractions started around 7 and were regular by 8. After a solid hour of contractions less than 5 minutes apart we went to the hospital. We were checked in at 1015 and he entered the world at 1107. I was already 7 cms dilated and was progressing quickly, no time for an epidural. I think my recovery has been a lot quicker than with my first when I did have an epidural, not sure if those are connected or not. Baron Lewis has made our family complete and big sister is in love

@YesOuiCan Our labors and deliveries are almost the same! Just one inch and 8 oz. difference too! Those darn 15 inch heads do not wanna come out. The boluses were clutch until they didn't work...

@NYTino24 Incredibly similar! I hope you're doing okay. It's tough to recover from that experience, physically and emotionally.

Aylin was born 11/10/2017 at 3:09am. It was also her dad's birthday, so he got the best present ever. I went in thinking I would I was going to do a water birth but got an epidural at 8 centimeters. I pushed from 9pm to 3am so I am really glad I got the epidural! Aylin is the sweetest baby and smiles all the time.
