Hi, everyone! I'm Amanda, my baby's guess date is June 11. I don't remember when I got my BFP... it's been a whirlwind pregnancy! I've had some big health issues come up, possibly looking at a lupus diagnosis, which would make this pregnancy high risk Midwives attended my previous births, and I'm struggling to wrap my mind around the thought of a) being chronically ill, and b) switching gears to a more medically-managed pregnancy and birth. I'm a third time mom. My older two are 3 and 1.5, they are scrumptious and light up my life. I'm a postpartum doula and lactation educator in the Kansas City area. Excited to be here with all of you :-)
Hello Mamas! So excited to share this journey with all of you! My name is Amanda and I am a FTM living in the Midwest! I am 27 and my boyfriend and I are so excited about starting our family! I estimate I am 7 weeks and 3 days but My first doctors appointment is November 27th and I’m waiting so impatiently! For all you veteran mamas, if you have any advice on how to keep the anxieties down about complications or miscarriages I’d love to hear them! Happy pregnancy to all you beautiful women!
@itsuhmanduhhh Welcome and congrats!! This is my second and I've had a lot more anxiety this time around than the first time. I think a lot of it is because with my daughter I was working full time teaching preschool, then I would come home, make dinner, and go to sleep- so I didn't have a lot of down time to think about what was going on in my uterus. I'm now a SAHM so my mind isn't so preoccupied with work and what tasks I need to prepare and get done, so naturally I spend more time thinking about the baby and what could potentially go wrong. I pretty much just try to keep as busy as possible- My daughter goes to gym classes twice a week and in between I try to plan other fun outings so we are rarely just sitting at home. Try not to spend a lot of time online because it's so easy to Google things that could go wrong and freak yourself out. Not sure if that helps but it works for me! Hope everything goes well at your first appointment!
@itsuhmanduhhh I am also a FTM living in the midwest! My EDD is 6/23 and I feel the same way about possible complications! I think it is because of everything I have come across online on "what to expect" forums and websites which often bring up the different complications and risks that can occur. I too am anxiously awaiting my first US appt which isnt until around my 12 week mark on 12/11. It is scary but I have been telling myself I just have to take it one day at a time and pray everything works out okay (some days that works lol). Congrats!!
26 y/o FTM (biologically)

Hello ladies my name is Ashley. I got my BFP on October 5th (I tested as early as I thought I could). My due date is June 16th so that makes me 9 weeks 5 days. I am a STM, my son was born in May 2014. I have had 2 appointments already my most recent had baby's heartbeat at 169 bpm and my labs came back great so hoping to continue on with a happy & healthy pregnancy.
Hi ladies - I'm 8wks today. EDD is 6/30/2018. This is my third baby. I've been sick as a dog since week 6. I have my ultrasound appt tomorrow and I'm pretty nervous. I'm looking forward to the MS being gone (hopefully soon) and to being back on the bump with you awesome ladies!
First time mom via IVF living in St. Louis. We tried for about a year and a half before this pregnancy with a mc in March. I'm finally loosening up and trusting that this pregnancy is sticking. My due date is 6/20/18.
Hello ladies, this is my first time posting. I've been reading the threads and getting familiar with the abbreviations, lol. I am a FTM, 33 years old. I am 9 weeks and hope our baby will arrive around June 20th. We are from Toronto, Canada. We found out we lost an identical twin (vanishing twin syndrome) around week 5 so we are still a little bit on edge about telling people. We had also been trying for quite a while, so this was quite a surprise! Wishing you all the very best and looking forward to all the wonderful advice and experience!
My name is Sarah Mekonnen and I am the proud mama of a bubbly, vivacious, hysterically witty two-year-old little girl. My husband and I serve full-time as missionaries at a residential Christian school for children in need from the US and all over the world. We are hall parents for middle school young men, he coaches men's soccer, and I teach middle school English. After waiting much longer than we would've wanted to due to a trip to Ethiopia to visit my husband's family, we conceived and then lost our long-awaited second baby in August. We found out about this rainbow baby on October 10th and hope to meet him or her at the end of June.
"Courage, dear heart!" (The Voyage of the Dawn Treader)
Due date is 6/29. Got a really faint positive 10/17 because I'm impatient and couldn't wait to take the test. Turned very positive by that Friday (10/20?) when period was due.
First time mom, with the exception of two (older) stepkiddos.
Thought I'd be so excited to share the news but now...I kind of hate the idea of being the center of attention. Going to try and wait until Christmas to tell anyone.
Hi! I'm Cat. My DH and I got our BFP October 11 and our Due Date was confirmed to be June 19th at my 8 week apt. Im a FTM after dealing with 3 years of infertility due to PCOS and couldn't be more cautiously excited.
I'm a runner, a gamer, and an artist who loves to read! I've live in NC, IL, IN, NM, and now in FL. Can't wait to get to know you guys!
Sorry I don’t think I ever filled out an intro. We’re 11 weeks on Wednesday with a little boy. I’ll be a FTM. We got pregnant after 4 years of trying finally worked through IVF. I’m excited but still cautious as this is my first ever positive. I have PCOS and I am guessing we had an implantation issue. We have another US on Wednesday and hopefully everything is progressing nicely. Been sick as anything with nausea and exhausted.
TTC 4 years. 7 failed IUI's with either Clomid, Femara and/or Trigger Shots. Started IVF journey in February 2017. Polyps removed in May. 1st IVF Transfer September 26th. BFP. Expected due date 6/14/18. Baby boy born 5/25/18 at 6 lb 9 oz. My bundle of joy.
Hi ladies, my name is Caroline and I live in Holland. My EDD is june 7th and this is my second pregnancy. I already have a lovely almost two-year-old son. I'm a little late with my first post but I had a hard time during the first weeks. My mom passed away earlier this year and my hormones made me even more emotional. But I am verry exited to be on this board with all of you!
Hey everyone! I’m late to the party but better late than never, right? I can’t remember when I got my BFP but my due date is 6/12/17. At our 6 week ultrasound, we were very surprised to find out that we are expecting TWINS! My OB won’t let you go past 38 weeks with twins so I’ll be having May babies (God willing) so I wasn’t sure whether to join this group or May but anyways, here I am! We have a 2 year old son, Liam. We had two early miscarriages earlier this year, so we are cautiously excited about this pregnancy. Happy to be here!!
Hey! I haven't been on TB since my first was an infant and he's 6 now. We are expecting #2 6/21/18. We are excited and I'm happy that the nausea is starting to go away. We should find out in about 2 weeks if this one is a boy or girl. I think boy and DH thinks girl.
My name is Lilly, I got a BFP around the first week of October I’m only 17 so obviously a FTM and I’m now 12 weeks and a few days. I would love to have some mentoring through this! Glad to see so many other moms out there. My due date is June 3rd 2018.
Hi ladies. I'm kinda lurking from the July board... I'm due in July with twins, but doc said babies will more than likely be June babies! These babes will make us a family of 6!! It's slightly scary to think about haha. Buty husband and I are excited for the challenge!
Hello everyone! I’m new to the group! I’m a FTM with a due date of 6/6/2018! I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks just before this pregnancy, I somehow conceived this child within a few days of the loss! It’s our little miracle baby! So this is a big week for me as I enter the second trimester after basically 20 weeks straight in the first lol I I live in Illinois and work as an RN and husband is active duty Air Force Pilot. Look forward to hearing about all your little ones!
Hey everyone! I’m late to the introduction party...
Im Helen, I’m 34 and pregnant with my first baby! I’m 11 weeks and 1 day right now and due June 20th. My baby will be born under the midnight sun because I live in the middle of Alaska, just below the arctic circle.
My husband and and I both work full time and plan to continue after the baby. I have a very flexible employer who will let me bring baby to work and my husband works early shifts. We’re still coming to terms with our honeymoon surprise baby! ❤️
Im from Scotland and hubby is from Washington state.
If there are any other British mums to be living in the US, I’d love to chat about how to register the birth properly....but there’s plenty of time for that!!
@helenbz that's amazing that your employer will let you bring your baby to work! That's like the best of both worlds Hopefully you still get some time off before having to go back with baby.
Hi ! My name is Katie I’m a FTM. Got my BFP on Halloween. Expected due date is June 3rd. Although i guess i should wait for the ultrasound tomorrow for confirmation. Nervous! But excited too. I’m from Delaware. Nice to meet you all
@TravelingCouple Right!? I’m not sure how it will work. Alaskan culture is very child friendly and I always see babies at conferences or meetings. I’m just worried I won’t be able to concentrate...I suppose with a baby your attention is always split, no matter if they are there or not.
Hello. My name is Meg and I am pregnant with my 5th child. My due date is June 21st. I'm a MS and HS English teacher, so I feel like I barely have time to get online. I'm looking forward to participating in this community.
Hi All! My name is Lori and I am a first time mom. I got my BFP October 14th, but I could tell immediately that I was pregnant--it was so weird! My due date is June 22, so I am 11 weeks, 2 days. I've had two ultrasounds already, one at 7 weeks and one at 10 weeks, both times we saw a strong heartbeat. At the 10 week appointment they took blood for the panorama test, so I am nervously waiting for the results!! My husband doesn't want to find out the sex but I do, so we decided I will just have a big secret from everyone! I am an academic/writer and currently working from home, I may take a year off once the baby arrives. We recently moved to Knoxville and don't have a support network here, so I am a bit nervous and trying to start meeting some momma friends. We also have a cat and a dog, so if anyone has advice on pets and new babies that would be great! Excited to be part of an online community for some support! Nice to meet everyone!
Hello! My names is Jaime and my due date is 6/17. My husband and I have 2 boys (Parker is 4 and Preston is 2). I exclusively pumped for both boys and will probably do the same this time around. I will turn 35 right before delivering so I am considered AMA. Hope everyone has healthy pregnancies!
Hello everyone! My name is Angie and I’m one of the older moms to be; I’m 41. I have one son, Jaylen who is 14 and many factors have kept us from having another baby over the past 14 years; our military careers, fear of having another autistic child, and fibroids. I’ve had 4 miscarriages in the past due to the fibroids. I had an open myomectomy in August and got my BFP in October! I am 13.5 weeks along today and my due date is 12 Jun 2018! I’m feeling really encouraged this time as this is the furthest I’ve made it in any of my previous pregnancies, which averaged 7 weeks. I lurked here for a while because I was afraid I wouldn’t be here long. I’m so happy to be here and look forward to all the conversation, good news, and photos. God willing this rainbow baby we will finally be able to hold our my arms and I’m excited to share my journey with you all.
A little late to this party, but I really liked the community of my last BMB, so I thought I'd pop in.
My EDD is June 17, and it will be our second kid. My daughter just turned two, so I used to be on the D15 boards with a different username. It was my actual name, because I didn't know what I was doing, so I changed it up. Just had my 12 week ultrasound, and things look good so far!
I'm a teacher with a long commute, so I struggle with balance at the moment. I've decided to take a year (or more) off after this one, so I'll take on the role of a SAHM in June and am excited for the change.
I guess that's it! Looking forward to talking with all of you!
ETA: I am a competent professional, but my autocorrect has a lot of opinions. Please excuse in the future
Hi! I am currently 13wks+5 days! I have literally been lurking since my BFP in September but complications scared me from getting my hopes up. I am a second grade teacher in Summerville SC. I am 32 and a ftm who tried for years to get pregnant and then it just randomly happened. Married to DH for 5 years. We have an EDD of June 13.
Hi! I'm Lonna from SouthEast Asia. I'm a STM. Got my BFP on 18 Oct. EDD on 10 June based on my LMP. I have a daughter who is 2 years old. I hope all the best for all moms and all the babies. Can't wait to see the newborn!
Hi everybody! I'm late to the game here but I live in Texas and I'm a STM. My husband and I have been married for 6 years and our son is 2 yo. I had a miscarriage in June but was thrilled to become pregnant again this fall, and baby is looking healthy! EDD is June 17. Coming up on 14 weeks along. Loved being a part of this board in 2015. Looking forward to this!
Hi, Im late to the party too. STM mom with a 26 month old daughter. Im in Chicago and my due date is June 11. We are not finding out the sex and we didn't with our first.
Hi y'all! DH and I are both 27. We've been married for three beautiful years and trying for this miracle since Dec '16. We're due June 26th. This is my second pregnancy, we had an early miscarriage in March of this year, so my anxiety levels have been pretty much through the roof. Doc assured me that all is well with this little gummy bear and as the second trimester draws nearer, I've been able to exhale a bit deeper. I'm excited to get to know you all!
Hi everyone, I’m Patricia, FTM. We fell pregnant using IVF and are thrilled to be having a baby girl in June.
We had spent many years trying naturally so we feel so fortunate to have finally conceived.
IM an older FTM at 40years so my pregnancy comes with a few extra sensitivities but we got through the first hurdle unscathed and are hoping for a mostly uneventful 2nd and 3rd trimester.
I work in web platform/technology and my husband is a banker. We are from Toronto.
Hello, my name is Dayna and I am here as a TTM. My BFP happened on September 28 giving me a due date of 3 June based on LMP. This is our surprise baby and our last baby after DH gets the snip ✂️. I have 2 DS and hoping for my first DD
Hi everyone, I only started looking at the bump community a few days ago so I'm a little late to the game! I'm a FTM due June 20th. My husband is about to turn 30 and I'm 27, will be 28 when baby is born. I'm a pharmacist and my husband is an ER nurse. We live in Dayton, OH. We're very excited about becoming parents!
