@ahurlbert I hadn't even thought about a thanksgiving tshirt. I just ordered one off amazon that says "We're Hungry" at the top and "June 2018" with little feet. So CUTE. I ordered a size up so I can wear it again to other food related events, since it doesn't specifically say Thanksgiving.

I’m a talker, and I’m not the first of my siblings to get married or have a baby, so it’s not the excitement of the first. Although! There was excitement. My and my husband had just eloped and we were keeping the wedding a secret until we could have a ceremony in a year. But we got pregnant on our ‘wedding’ day. So in a year, I won’t want to be buying a wedding dress, I’ll need a crib. So I got to call my family (I’m in AZ, they’re in GA) and say, “I’ve got good news that comes in threes! I got engaged, AND married, AND I’m pregnant!”
3. When will you be announcing to extending family/friends? Again, I’m a talker, so I’m so glad we don’t live near the in laws. I’m letting my husband handle that conversation with his family.
4. Will you go Facebook/Social Media official? When? How? Since this is a threefold surprise, im thinking of making a ‘card’ with 3 images (my engagement ring, a pic of us at the courthouse, and something about baby) that says good things come in threes.

Especially if they don’t know pregnancy math (According to docs, I’ve been ‘pregnant’ since an egg was available which is 2 weeks before we eloped, so it’ll look shady). @lovetakesworkman maybe do a timeline card. My cousin, her children are adults now, got pregnant with her first on her honeymoon, but also had a small wedding with only 15 people in attendance (she's a destination wedding planner so its not surprising). But she always calls her first born her "Honeymoon Souvenir." So maybe you can do something like that.
We wanted to wait until 12 wks in December but the nature of my Mother's work means she is locking in travel for the summer and I want her to know sooner rather than later, it's her 1st grandbaby. So we will tell her this Sunday. I'm not bothered about waiting longer for my ILs because this will be their 4th although my MIL is notorious for crying at the drop of a hat.

We announced today at 8 weeks, technically my due date is in July, but because of my chronic hypertension the won’t let me go past the last week in June.
Thought I would share a photo since someone mentioned seeing plans but not what happened! We made two of these boxes - one for my Mom and one for his parents. I crocheted the two sets of booties which was very quick and bought iron-on letters for the onesies. The card says "I'm on my way..." Hope this can serve as inspiration!
