@jsnakehole OMG that's hilarious! I mean, I find mice terrifying but the books being in there is perfection. Maybe the little guy just wanted to read about one of his own as the main character?
@jrm_14 Haha was not expecting that video to come with it. My speakers were on loud and not the entire office wants to know about Peanut butter jelly pie!
Oh dear, all this pie talk is reminding me that I'm supposed to make 2 pies next week for Thanksgiving... last year I spaced it and had to run to the store day before Thanksgiving and - you guessed it - no crusts left. I had to make my own. I don't have the patience to chop frozen butter into a flour mixture wasn't my best effort.
That meat pie sounds awfully tasty though. Maybe a shephard's pie in a pie crust with mashed potatoes on top should be a freezer meal for this winter...
@nitnat007 BAHAHAHA I'm totes hoarding ALL the pie crusts
Cuz I be steal all your pie crusts

@lurvleybunchococonuts I'm going with Greek. I might be getting two appetizers (loukaniko and feta cheese). Plus a gyro platter. I'm just waiting for my best friend to text me her tacit endorsement of me getting two appetizers (so it sounds like it's not my idea).

@josie12367 Tomorrow!!!!!!! (I feel like Annie every time I get to this point) Tomorrow, tomorrow, it's only a day away! Hope that you doing ok? Are you as excited as I am?
@nitnat007 Yes! I'm excited, but DH is going to have to work for a warm greeting. Man pissed me off royally yesterday. Haha. I still like him a little bit though....
@josie12367 Nnnooo! What did he do? Mine pissed me off earlier in the week. Yes I will drop everything and get right on that thing that should be your responsibility and had plenty time to do before you left but chose not to do. On top of all those other things that are actually my responsibility, because oh wait, you are stuck on a ship and have a second to think about it. But we all know if you were home, you would be dragging your a$$ getting to it. Lets be real homie! He recovered nicely though, lol.
@josie12367 I agree with @nitnat007 ...if you're mean to YH he might keep the M&Ms for himself! Hope you have a great time seeing him anyways though! @nitnat007 Yay for YH getting home too! Have so much fun!
@josie12367 I think it's something in the air, because my husband was driving me nuts yesterday. I told him he's lucky I wasn't cooking dinner last night because I would have poisoned him.
I survived round one of conferences! One of my students told his mom he thinks I'm beautiful, and when she tried to tell him that that's nice but looks aren't what's most important he said "But she's what I have to look at all day!"
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
@jsnakehole That is adorable of your student to say! How many more conferences do you have to get through? MH is a teacher and just went through his last week.
@darkstar42 I had 20 last round, so I should have 12 next time around. Of course I have fewer people for the longer session, but it should be relatively painless.

@nitnat007 Oh DH just decided to give me a lecture on how conception works, and why we're still not pregnant. His knowledge is limited y'all, so I tried at least getting the sequence of egg maturing, busting free, being fertilized...or not....and then AF showing up, and he just wasn't able to put that knowledge with my personal issues together into something that made sense. He basically is wanting me to go in to be evaluated now because in his mind we've hit the year mark month wise. In reality my cycle didn't return/start till July, and we were basically trying, but had no hope because I wasn't ovulating, before that. So we're six months in next month...not a year, because I don't count the time frame when I wasn't even ovulating, but he does. Stupid argument really. We both were pretty heated by the end of it though. At least I know he's fully invested in this process, but I hate that he's already getting frustrated
@josie12367 That is frustrating. I mean, the one thing is ladies here have us knowledge. We live it, research it and do our homework everyday. So I would also have been annoyed with him too. Spend the hours we have on the subject and then maybe. But like you said, he is clearly invested. Which is a really good thing. I hope that it settles before he gets back tomorrow. *hugs*
@nitnat007 Thanks friend...glad to see I wasn't being too much of a witch for expecting him to get that I should know all my dates, and timelines better than him...I am the one constantly peeing on things, charting all kinds of bodily fluids, and going through AF. It will be fine. We'll come to some sort of compromise I'm sure once he's back, and rested. We'll probably set a hard date, and if it hasn't happened by then, then I'll go in to start the process.
You guys....DH totally just got searched because of all the M&Ms in his carry-on! He said the TSA agents were laughing so hard at him once they discovered what it was in his bag. He told them (all males) that he was bringing them home to his wife who he just made angry, and they all nodded sympathetically and just waved him on through after that
@lurvleybunchococonuts I feel like you should be doing a blog like "30 Days of Pie" or something. Would follow!
@jsnakehole Greek is always the right answer for food delivery. And the more you order, the less percentage you are paying for the delivery fee, so more is always the right answer (at least this is what I tell myself when I order $20 of Taco Bell to make the $7 delivery seem less insane).
@josie12367 A little knowledge is definitely a bad thing, especially for husbands TTC. Mine paged through a very small portion of What to Expect Before You're Expecting and now has all these "ideas" for how we can be sure to conceive a boy (that were clearly discussed as old wives tales in the book), like waiting to BD until the day before ovulation and having coffee right before BD. I'm like that's cute honey, except its not that easy to even predict ovulation day and also if it worked like that literally everyone would be able to control the genders of their babies.
