I have been obsessed with oranges since I discovered the best way to peel them ever. I never bought them because I would spend forever peeling tiny chunks of the rind off. I use this method now and it is LIFE CHANGING! How have I survived nearly 30 years of life without this...

I peeled DS an orange last night and I stole a bite and was like “why have I not been eating more oranges all my life?!” So then I had to have my own. This peeling trick is awesome! The main reason i don’t eat many oranges is because of how annoying they are to peel and get it all off. So thanks for this
It took me 5 minutes to figure out I had to click the spoiler to see this. I kept thinking how in the world are people knowing and seeing her magical way. Pregnancy brain doesn't happen this early does it?
anyone else getting Subway ad's constantly on TB? Now I really want a sub. I might have to get one this weekend when MH is out of town because he is a stickler for the rules and I am not.

@krashke I am getting Chick- Fil-A ads... and normally I'd be all for chicken and eggs... but give me a few weeks of no food ads! I work in advertising- so I have no one to blame but myself.
My weekly random is that my cousin got engaged yesterday!! I haven't told her I'm pregnant yet, and know I'll be announcing around the time she gets back from Nashville. I want to take her out to celebrate and don't want to turn it around to my pregnancy, but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to not drink without telling her- and a LONG awaited proposal deserves some celebratory champagne! I've also been looking for adorable flower girl dresses to show her for DD- who will be her flower girl haha.
DS took a 2.5 hour nap. While I definitely could have used that time to straighten up the house, I took advantage of every minute he slept and did so also. It was glorious
Re: pregnancy brain. The other day I was putting my son in a buggy to go shopping and I looked up and saw a “baby on board” decal in the back of a car and thought, “Huh, ours is just like that.” Yeah, exactly like it because I was staring at the back of my own vehicle.
Anyone else used to have cinnamon sugar toast as a kid? (Toast with butter and sprinkled with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar). I just made some (almost 10pm here on the west coast) and I am in childhood memory heaven.

I did this but with peanut butter... I had 4 pieces in one sitting just a few weeks ago... I ate the first 2 pieces and I was like hey, this is really good, I think I'm going to have more. So I did.

Has anyone bought or is buying a pregnancy pillow? If so, what did you get/ are getting? I got one during my first pregnancy and it was a lifesaver, I just cant remember what I got.
@BurlapandLace, we totally had cinnamon sugar toast! Funny story too. When my little bro was *just* starting to learn to read, he also learned to make the toast himself. Except one day he accidentally grabbed the chili powder (because both are long words that start with C and have similar color). He learned that one quickly when he bit into it!

Wondering if there's such a thing as a comfortable full bladder? That was instruction for upcoming U/S. Ummm, when my bladder is full, I've got to go!!
@stephcat421 they ran almost an hour behind for one of the US where you had to drink 16 oz of water an hour before. I really hope my office is on time next week!!
@stephcat421 I had to have a pelvic ultrasound that required a full bladder before pregnancy. I legit thought I was going to die from how much I had to pee (esp with the tech presssssing the wand on my bladder), but she goes, “um well I can see your bladder isn’t actually full but it’s fine because you’re so thin everything is just right here.” Great.
@galactickates@stephcat421 I was instructed to drink 16 oz of liquid an hour before my dating scan. The abdominal ultra sound is apparently clearer with a "full bladder." Then after they do the abdominal scan you go to the bathroom because the trans-vaginal u/s is better with an empty bladder.
I didn't think the 16 oz did anything for me though. I didn't feel like I had a full bladder and when they told me to go to the bathroom, I could barely get out a trickle. But the tech didn't say anything about there being too much or not enough fluids for the scan so I think it was fine.

We have an adjustable bed. I've googled a couple things about adjustable bed and sleeping on your back while pg (I'm a back sleeper, I know you can't lay flat). So I'm going to ask my dr about if the elevated head and legs are suitable for pg and for low long.
