I am so freaking excited and shocked to be having another girl!
Backstory: I have a daughter who is 11 and a son who is 8, and this is our little amazing surprise.
I am so so so so thrilled. I hate to brag, but my daughter is, like, the BEST little human in the world. She’s way cooler than I could ever dream to be. She is so sweet, thoughtful, and kind to others. My son is AMAZING as well, so I would have been blessed either way.
There was one time when she was in third grade, and I noticed after a few days that she was packing way more food in her lunchbox then she would ever possibly be able to eat.
She sheepishly told me (because she thought she was in trouble) that there was a little boy in her class who never had a snack, and barely had any lunch, so she was packing him some food because she didn’t want him to be hungry during the day. I just about died in a puddle of tears right there!
When we we had our gender reveal party on Saturday, and we found out this baby was a girl, I had about 10 separate people come up to me and tell me that “if this baby is anything like Riley, then you will be the luckiest mom in the world”. I already feel that way with the 2 1/2 babies I have now!
Riley then wrote in her journal, this entry. She already loves her baby sister SO much!
Man, trust me, I cried a sh*t-ton this weekend!! Stupid hormones!!!!
I feel so similar. We found out our third is a boy this weekend and we are over the moon. My son has been adamant the whole pregnancy that it's a boy and he will teach him all of these things... it just melts me! Last night he said he would potty train the baby. I laughed and asked if I could get that in writing....

Well today go to pick up DD from daycare, I didn't see her teacher until we were leaving and I couldn't talk long cause she had 3 year olds walking down the hall without her. But she gave me a note saying DD stayed dry all day long and maybe we should bring underwear. I said she asked to wear it over the weekend and did pretty good and I told MH to bring it or put her in it and she said she had no underwear today
So tomorrow since we are both off so we can see the new Thor movie I will put her in underwear and if MH doesn't want her in his car of fear she will pee then I'll just drive her in my car.

I have off work on Friday. DH works. I'm going to take DS to preschool and then I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself. It's crap because I'll have to wake up early to take him, but then I can do whatever. I've never been home alone all day before! haha Maybe I can get some good sleep in.
