Like, nope. If we're investing $20,000+ in a vehicle, it will be something I want and will be used the way I want it to be used.
My husband and I have a Nissan Rogue and we love it! Such a smooth ride, huge trunk with compartments under the mat to store things and a roomy backseat. I have a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and it is small, more of a crossover, but I don't expect us to use that often as a family. I mostly just drive to and from work in it, which is over an hour one way, so my husband drives everywhere!
@tincupchalice that's what I need ahahaha. I could guarantee I’ll never run out of space.

Edit it to add: my OB said it doesn't matter waiting vs now but I decided to wait.
We are going to trade in my husbands car and he’ll take over mine (it’s cooler) and DD will just have to ride front facing when he takes the two kiddos places (and it will have to be only the 3 of them). I’m going to get an SUV even though I’ve only driven a manual transmission for the last 17yrs. We are looking at a Lexus and they have big sales events around the holidays. I love love the suggestion to bring car seats and strollers! I never even thought of that.

We also bought a Mazda CX-5 last year and I LOVE it. So. Much. Room. Also, you can lay down each seat in the back individually, which is great bc it means you don't have one side connected to the middle seat so if you had the baby in the middle but needed more space you could lay down the seats next to it and not have to move it over to another seat.
It kind of depends. I measured at least 2 weeks ahead with fundal height my whole last pregnancy which caused them to do extra ultrasounds when everything was perfectly fine. I just had a big and late baby (9lbs 3oz, 42 weeks). Fundal height doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot, it's more of a rough estimate. Every body is different.
Not trying to be snarky or anything, I just remember it causing me to panic. But I was also a FTM at the time and I panicked over everything.
I can't say enough good things about my Subaru Outback! I traded in my little old Scion when I was pregnant with my DD. The Outback is such a smooth ride! I test drove the Rogue and hated it. I thought it drove rough and more like a truck and I was unimpressed with the trunk space. My Outback has plenty of room, handles well, AWD, roof rack in case we ever need to haul stuff. We upgraded to Eyesight which detects if I leave my lane, detects objects or around vehicles in front of me and brakes, keeps me in the lane on the highway, and spaces be from other vehicles in the highway while in cruise control. Blindspot detection and a great backup camera in top of eyesight really make me feel safe. Plus Subaru's hold their resale value and last forever. We might get DH another vehicle in a year or 2 and go for something larger (thinking trips with luggage, 2 kids, and the dog might be tight in the outback, but we might buy a roof cargo box). It looks like Subaru will be releasing a third row vehicle next year, so we might wait and see!
