@fraufarbissina I feel like it’s only the tip of the iceberg right now. And you know people are going to try to get a deal. No one wants to go to federal prison.
If I think too hard about it it's terrifying, but I'm glad the dominos are starting to fall. I'm glad they are moving fast on the investigation at least. Trump and his cronies are a bunch of crooks and they aren't even good at it! They didnt even work that hard to cover their tracks. Thank god.
Gender reveal party question: I have to have my gender reveal party on a weekday because I'm really throwing it for the grandparents-to-be and my parents only have tuesday off from work. We settled for Nov 21, Tuesday before thanksgiving. Weird day, I know. What time of day do I schedule this thing for? I've never done a weekday party lol, especially not one close to a holiday. There's a weird mix of people home from work and people still stuck at work.

I'd do like 7 pm, everyone should be out of work and have a chance to change and stuff. And then you can serve apps or an actual meal, but that late you have to make sure you feed your guests!! It's a wierd day to have a party but not unheard of, and you aren't forcing anyone to go! Plan the thing, do the invites, and if people want to be there, the day won't matter that much! Have fun!
@mileswithmyles yes this and Pappadopoulos admitting he lied to the FBI are big deals. Good news is this is the beginning of the end for 45!
One can only hope. I just worry he’ll worm his way out of this one because of the current Congressional and House setup. We need more Republicans to stand up for what’s right.
I’m getting this weird simultaneous pain on the right side of my ribs and in my toes. It feels like my nerves are on fire. Anyone else have this? It’s so weird!
@babydreams88 I don’t know about feeling it, but at my NT scan, the doctor said that the baby was halfway between my pubic bone and belly button. I was 12+3.
I'm thinking we'll have to upgrade cars when the baby comes. I'm not thrilled with the idea of a minivan. Does anyone have a small SUV they like? I've had my Corolla for 10 years so we keep vehicles for a long time. I'd like something easy to take care of and that's reliable. Thoughts?
Based on my very limited online research, Honda CRVs have good ratings. Does anyone have one?

No I haven't had that it must be so strange! I wonder what nerve is being affected?
Themks for your replies @tincupchalice and @mileswithmyles! Miles, that seems very high for 12 weeks based on what I've read about fundal height measurements but maybe you're just showing earlier
@JNCPro3130 when I was pregnant with my son we got a Nissan Rogue. Now that we’re expecting the twins, we just bought a Buick Enclave with the captain chairs and third row seating. I wouldn’t have been able to comfortably fit three car seats across in my Rogue but we didn’t want a minivan so we thought this would be good middle ground.
@JNCPro3130, we did not want a minivan either when we needed a new car. We knew we'd eventually have a 3rd kid so a lot of room was necessary. We brought our double stroller with car shopping and tried to fit it behind some of the less expensive SUVs with 3rd row seats up. It didn't fit. So I figured if our stroller won't fit, we won't be able to fit a lot of stuff in there along with 3 kids. I legit cried when we discovered the best thing for us would be a van. And honestly, it's been amazing. The sliding doors, the room, the seats that fold into the floor, the room. We took am a 5 day long vacation 8 hours away and were able to pack everything we needed and more. I told DH I want to get spinners on it for Christmas, haha. I don't think he believes me.
I have a VW Jetta and I'm hoping to hold on to it until next summer when car prices go down and the new year of cars is released. We are looking into getting a Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorrento or Ford Explorer possibly. I've test driven the last 2 so far. Anyone else use a car? Other than being lower, my trunk is huge so I'm hoping it's ok.
I had a Chevy Equinox I liked (but I swear that particular one was a lemon). I just bought a Subaru Forrester and love it!
I think I have asked this before, but can't remember, so I am asking again. Does anyone know if it is possible for the anatomy of the baby to look off if they have their body twisted the whole time? Like it took the doctor 2 hours to get what they needed, and I still just wonder if maybe things looked off because of that?
I love my Subaru Forester. My big thing with cars is blind spots and I love how I can see everything! It is great for getting DD in and out of and the trunk is huge. We will be replacing DH car next year so we might consider a van at that point just because I know we will eventually need one and we keep cars forever too.
@JNCPro3130 Honda CRVs are really really small. They're built on the civic chassis and don't really have that much room. My friends who have them say it's fine for one kid, but by the time they have the second, they need to upgrade. The honda pilot is a better buy IMO.
@suchaglencoco like how much stuff are we talking? I probably need a Suburban but I could get a brand new Odyssey for the price of a really used Suburban. I haul all my inventory, suitcases, strollers, everything to Houston on a regular basis.
@poppy0419, honestly, I'd have loved a suburban. But the van has doors that open with a button! Haha huge plus. We got 2 pnps, 2 booster seats, a laundry basket of toys and books, a cooler of food, a small cooler of drinks, a big suitcase for our clothes, 2 bags of their their cothes, a bucket of bath supplies, pool toys, a diaper box stuffed with diapers and wipes, 2 umbrella strollers, and some other random stuff in the van. We also left half the 3rd row seat up in case one of us needed to sit back there to entertain them since they're rear facing. And thank goodness we did because we needed to do it both ways.
@fraufarbissina my Rogue has been perfect for my one kid. Probably would have been fine for two children also. The trunk is huge and can fit a stroller plus any extra stuff you’ll need.
People, minivans are amazing. They are designed to haul families around. The sliding doors are life changing. I cannot express how amazing sliding doors are.
I'm with @suchaglencoco. I freakin' love my minivan. It's like a small apartment on wheels. I mean, okay, I'm exaggerating, but it's freaking huge! We had a Kia Sorento before we decided to have a third kid, and I loved it, but we had the same issue as suchaglencoco. We couldn't fit the stroller in the back if the third row was up, and if we had someone else ride with us, they had to crawl in through the trunk because we couldn't put the second row down with car seats in both sides. So for the most part, the third row was kinda useless for us, even with only two kids. @sparklingdiamond, I don't have an exact answer for you, but I know during all of our ultrasounds, it would definitely take longer to find certain things, a. because it was crowded in there, b. sometimes they couldn't tell which arm/leg/whatever body part belonged to which baby and c. Baby B moved around ALL the time and they had a hard time checking things on her pretty often.

@suchaglencoco I’m so going to be the weirdo who shows up with luggage, car seats and my entire inventory and racks to test drive. I just want the sliding doors. I currently have an Infiniti SUV and if someone parks too close I can’t get DD in the car. And that’s not pregnant.
This is me traveling with no car seats. In my husband’s 4Runner. I could probably buy a trailer but I don’t want to pay to store it all but a month a year total.

I have increased discharge which I know is normal and its of normal color and consistency but is anyone else more...smelly? Is this abnormal?
