Got to see the heartbeat (but not hear it). She didn't tell us the heartbeat rate but said everything looks good! She also measured me as 6+6 (my LMP says 7+4) but she won't change my due date until the next ultrasound next month. So relieved!

Not much to see so early (I'm only 5w3d according to LMP) but I went in for bleeding (some of you may have saw my story in the other bleeding post) and was so pleasantly surprised! The doctor looked vaginally and wasn't able to find anything but the gestational sac but when he looked abdominal he found the baby AND the heartbeat was flickering away! He said the heart must have JUST started in the last 12-24 hours. It was so amazing and we are so relieved after the bleeding the last few days! So happy!
Edited because pic was uploaded with identifiers! Oops!
@asun123 yeah. It just threw me off... Since if I ovulated on the 6th or somehow miraculously caught it in the fallopian tube on it's decent I guess it could be right. Just wasn't what I was expecting. But nobody seemed bothered by my u/s (radiologist or Dr) so I'm just rolling with it. Probably should just try not to over think it I suppose. Baby will come when ready right? Lol
Measuring 6 weeks 1 day even though according to lmp I should be 8 weeks 4 days. Dr felt confident about it and said there was appropriate growth from last ultrasound 2 weeks ago. We were able to see the heartbeat as well.
Our sweet little baby! Measuring 9 weeks 2 days, kicking little legs all over the place!
8 weeks exactly based off LMP. I'm thinking I'm either 8 weeks or 7w6d based off when I think I ovulated. Baby is measuring 7w6d with a 166 heart rate. Everything looked great which was a huge relief! I know baby still looks like a blob but it's amazing how much I already love that little blob.

I feel slightly better after reading the posts above. According to the start of my last period, I should be 8 weeks and 3 days but my doctor moved me back to to 7 weeks and 1 day, EDD of June 19. My last 2 periods were a little wonky due to stress so I can see how that happened. But the heart rate was 148, perfectly in the middle of the range for 8 weeks but way above the 90-110 range I read is ideal for 7 weeks. Neither the tech nor the OB batted an eyelash at it so I suppose I can't worry. I wish I could have a follow-up ultrasound before the next at 16 weeks just for my own peace of mind.
After experiencing 2 losses this year, I can't even put into words how overwhelmingly beautiful it was to see our wee babe's heart flickering away on this screen today
Finally got my US today! Puts this PGAL brain a bit at ease for now. Measuring a week behind LMP, which puts me at 7+3 instead of 8+2. Very excited to see the flicker of its heart. Everything seems normal so far. Have another check up in 2 weeks. I actually had a dream about my appt this’s morning and was happy to see the result was the same

Baby B
First ultrasound yesterday! I have since nick named it bloby lol. The measurements put a little behind where I thought I was so it looks like my EDD might be changing to somewhere in the middle of June.
Had the first ultrasound this past Thursday and baby B is still in there! As I posted on another thread, I had been bleeding and honestly didn't think it would still be in there. It was a very happy surprise when we could see the baby measuring correctly for 6+2 and the technician could see the heartbeat and measure it. Four more weeks until the next ultrasound when we should be able to hear it!
First ultrasound last week. I thought I was 4/5 weeks but my numbers came back high from 2 blood tests so doc ordered ultrasound to see if we might have twins. No twins, but turns out baby measured 7+1! Glad I brought my husband with me, he was so excited watching the little heartbeat. So sweet.
I also found out I have a cyst on one of my ovaries related to the pregnancy. I haven't had a lot of pain, but it's there.
Congrats to everyone, looking forward to many more US pics!
Baby is 7 weeks - EDD now 28th June. I saw the heartbeat
