Trying to Get Pregnant

Any ideas?!?

Hi my name is Katlyn I'm 26 years old, my partner is 27 years old.

We have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months now. I took my IUD out in march of this year and started trying to get pregnant in May so it's been 6 months now and no luck...

TTGP: We have been having a lot of sex and I have been tracking my ovulation on the shine app.
I haven't wanted to get into temperature taking because I feel it would stress me out even more and I haven't invested in ovulation test.

I have been taking a prenatal vitamin since January and my periods are extremely regular there for my ovulation should be extremely regular.

Any suggestions? Thoughts?

  • @adirat Im a little late to the party but hopefully you still have time to enjoy cookies and watching the new season of stranger things (stoked I saw someone else mention it) OR if you want the scariest movie IMO, watch Trick R' Treat and never sleep again.

  • @jrm_14 Have you tried putting onions in your socks? Or is it garlic? That's one of the weirder home remedies I've heard of. I think I'd rather be horribly sick than walk around smelling like onions/garlic. And boy would that put a damper on TTC! Hope you feel better soon.  <3

  • @LadyMillil I like the way you think!  I think as long as you don't go into an actual medical sugar coma, you should be good. :)
  • @jrm_14 - bronchitis is one of the worst common bugs to get because there's literally nothing you can do about it except wait for it to go away. What works best for me is not medicating during the day and taking a nighttime cold medicine when I go to bed. That way I spend the day coughing up the bad stuff and getting it out of me but get the peace to sleep at night with the meds.

I wonder if drug manufacturers know how much money I'd be willing to pay for a vaccine or cure for the common cold and bronchitis... I always get one awful cold every year that morphs into a bronchitis from Hell and it knocks me on my ass for a solid month. It ruins every aspect of my life for 4-6 weeks. Bleh.

Hopefully your body is more cooperative than mind and you have a speedy recovery!
