  • @darkstar42 I’m glad you shared the warm it up tip yesterday! I had been wondering why my post-O temps were so low! Also, love your FTKY answer. I haven’t noticed those yet but probably will now.
  • @darkstar42 Now I am going to have to look at license plates!! We had flurries here yesterday, but nothing that stuck. How much snow are you getting?

@SkilledSailor Enjoy your relaxing weekend! I've still never watched stranger things...

  • @SkilledSailor I'm so excited for Stranger Things! We're holding out to watch it on Halloween with friends though, so no spoilers! License plates here are three numbers, a space, and then three letters, so it makes noticing the acronyms easy. :)
@MrsMiller8588 Fx YH's appointment goes well today! I'm glad you get to go with him. Make sure to ask them how you can contact them to ask more questions after the appointment! We're supposed to get between 1 and 3 inches of snow, but it's too warm for the snow to stick.
@nitnat007 Yep, I have to buy snow tires still. Hopefully we won't get any serious snow for another few weeks, but it's probably time to get the tires! Enjoy your mobility session! That sounds great.
  • @darkstar42 and @nitnat007 Add me to the list that needs new tires! I've never gotten actual snow tires, but mine are practically bald now and one is leaking  :#

  • @mrsmiller8588 Please update us when you get back from the urologist! Do you have a busy work day to make the time go by faster?

@nitnat007 That sounds like a great way to spend the lunch break. Are you focusing on any area in particular?

@darkstar42 Haha ok, no spoilers. Are you the one that recommended Mindhunter? We finished that season in less than 48 hours. LOVED it.

@luckypandas Haha I do know my CD days pretty darn well these days. When do you leave for camping?

@shortstack930 It was super cold (to me) this morning as well. I actually turned the heat on for a bit. Are you a nurse?

@darkstar42  I’m jealous, I can’t wait for some snow! Our weather is still all screwy with it being cold in the morning but warm in the afternoon.

@SkilledSailor haha awesome idea to have eggos and string lights!

@MrsMiller8588 hoping YH’s appointment goes well today!

@nitnat007 enjoy the mobility session! Stretching is something I need to take the time to start doing every week.

@shortstack930 ugh, I hope you get a day off soon! I can’t get myself motivated to do OT lately. I’m holding out a little bit because I know we’ll be slammed once flu season really kicks in.

  • @SkilledSailor I'm a wimp and I've had the heat on for weeks now lol. I'm not a nurse, I'm a medical technologist (so I work in the lab) but I'm actually going back to school for nursing soon!

  • @MrsmIller8588 @darkstar42 I fortunately have studs on mine, but I can't put them on until November sometime. As soon as the first snow flies here, the place is going to be a mad house. I should probably make that appointment now.

@luckypandas Agreed! I was never so aware of my cycle and where I was in it before.

@shortstack930 It was a great session, thanks! That is a lot of extra work. FX that it is smooth sailing tonight.

@skilledsailor We worked on my quads, glutes and hip flexors. I am extremely tight in that area and have been struggling with movement and pain. I was able to get an a$$ to grass squat with little effort, when she was done, which has been unheard of for me. Granted I will likely tighten up again, but I will just have to keep working on it.

@mrs_drc_rn I am terribly at stretching and it is so important. Enjoy your evening with your friends! Boo to cleaning the house alone though.

    @coco2787 Definitely done that before!

  • @kindbytealikat You don't have to warm your bbt, it's just that my bedroom is super cold, and I figured out that my post-O temps looked low because the thermometer was cooling down the skin it was touching while it was taking my temp. So I've been either warming it up first or taking two temps and using the second one.

@darkstar42  It is my understanding that as long as your room temp is consistent, it doesn’t matter if it’s cold.

R/R: My Dad has been saying that he’s gonna be around when I have a baby and he’s gonna spoil my kids :( He talked about all of the things he would do with them. I’ve been recording his stories since last night. I’m so glad I bought a recorder. He thinks he only has a few days. I think it will go a little longer than that but I don’t think he has a month.

    CS/Q: Nah

  • Okay guys just because a couple people asked here is my appointment update. It's in a spoiler in case it's long.

Overall it was a good appointment. DH was very uncomfortable and does not want to do the tests and appointments, but is doing it since we need to figure out what's going on. The Dr said he didn't feel anything wrong with the anatomy. He ordered a second SA as well as an US and bw. We scheduled a follow-up for results but the next available appointment was Dec 15. I feel like this is all going to take forever. As we were leaving the hospital DH said "I hope you are KU so I can cancel all these appointments".  I feel awful that he is having to go through this and I wish it was me.

Also on a funny note, the appointment was at a catholic hospital, but the Dr ordered the SA for my main clinic. He said people have had problems and the nurse mentioned we would "have to poke holes in condoms" if we did it there.

  • @suzycupcake Generally speaking, you're right about temps. But when I say cold I mean it was around 52 degrees in the house last night, so my poor thermometer is trying it's best, but generally recording my temp around .4 degrees lower than it should be. And the temp in my room has changed a lot this month, so things are all over the place.
@quiltandknit Enjoy your weekend! Our snow isn't sticking, so it'll just be chilly this weekend with no snow on the ground.
@kindbytealikat Now I want cinnamon rolls. Did you make them from scratch?
@Stargazer1lily Regarding your GTKY answer... that's me, every frickin month.
  • @MrsMiller8588 I was about to PM you to ask how it went! Thanks for updating us. I'm glad the doctor didn't notice any anatomy issues. Can I ask what bw the doctor ordered? It sucks that YH has to go through these tests, but hopefully they will be able to figure out what is happening and treat it!
  • @MrsMiller8588 It does feel like forever with testing but before you know it, you’ll have a better plan of action. I’m glad YH went and got it done.

  • @MrsMiller8588 Thanks for updating us. Was wondering how it all went. Glad that they feel there is nothing wrong ananomy wise. Your poor husband. He is being a trooper! That is quite the wait for the next appointment, but you’ll have a plan and that is big.
  • @darkstar42 I think it was testosterone, FSH, LH, and prolactin. They said next step will be genetic testing to look for a genetic issue. He also mentioned having him go on clomid, but those would both be after the follow-up.
