Anyone else getting bloody noses is all the time? I’ve googled it and it seems to be a common symptom of pregnancy but I never hear anyone complaining about it
I did with my first pregnancy. Once during my Matron of Honor speech in front of the entire wedding
@chartermama we'll tell our parents, siblings and very few select friends before the holidays but will wait with a general announcement till probably beginning of January. maybe a cute new years announcement. I know I might be overly cautious but I just don't want to go public sooner than that.

My symptoms this week: i am extremely tired, pretty much exert all my energy at work and then can't do anything else, let alone social engagements. I have had extremely sore breasts and nipples for a few weeks now and starting to feel queasy. the amount of times i need to go pee is comical, I even get up about 3-4 times per night to pee.

@doxiemoxie212 I always woke up with dried blood in my nose when I was pregnant with DD. I haven't experienced that yet this time around, but I have been waking up with a very dry nose
@basemodel I don't have first hand experience with depression and anxiety meds during pregnancy, but your mental health is so important. There are definitely options out there for medications. If your OB is not knowledgeable about these issues (many are not) I would ask if they could recommend someone to you. I have heard there are psychiatrists (who can prescribe meds) who specialize in reproduction.
Symptoms wise, I was excited to find myself briefly nauseous this morning. I also ate an apple this afternoon and it tasted... very strange.
@chartermama we are planning to tell our immediate families at Thanksgiving but I am actually planning to announce on Christmas cards, too! I'll tell close friends/family beforehand, and then the next wave will find out via Christmas card before the last wave of people who just catch it on social media. We did family photos last weekend and I did a few with my 18-month-old holding a "soon to be promoted to big brother" sign. Can't wait to see how they came out!
ETA: Assuming everything goes well, this will definitely be my last pregnancy, so I want to savor it and also make it special.

My daughter will hold the 1, my son will hold the two and my husband and I will embrace holding the 3 and my belly. I would love the kids to have big brother, big sister shirts on with a huge Christmas tree behind us. It’s going to be so cute! I’m excited.
This is our last one too so I want to make it special.
@basemodel I have anxiety--stopped taking the ativan a few months before BFP. And my hormones are all over the map and I try to focus on breathing if I feel like I am going to panic but it doesn't always work. Going to be a fun pregnancy lol
TMI...I still have almost no symptoms but apparently I have a hemorrhoid now so that is fun. I have never had them before and I haven't even been that constipated but apparently the hormones can cause it. great.

I am so tired. Yesterday I fell asleep in the chair, in the car (passenger), and then at home two hours before DH. It's 11am and I've already had a nap this morning. The only reason I'm awake now is because DS woke up. I can assure you when it's his naptime, I'll be joining him. Sheesh.
@krashke Ugh, hemmies are the worst. Last time, even though I KNEW I had one, I still full-on panicked every single time I saw blood on the TP/in the toilet. (Sorry if that was gross.) I feel like I should post a sticky note on the toilet this time...

Anyone else absolutely wrecked from the blood draw at the 8 week appointment? I had to give 8 vials of blood, and it's been like 4 hours, and I'm still dizzy and tired AF. I've drank, eaten, been lying down since then.... sigh.
@doxiemoxie212 I was sent to urgent care because of my fever and they did bw. As usual, I'm a difficult stick and they ended up taking from my hand. OB's office called today and said I needed to go back for more that they needed more vials. Eeesh. Already missed 1.5 days of work so I'll have to wait on the rest.
Now I am just sneezing and exhausted at work counting down the hours til I leave. 2 hours left, wooo.

Yesterday, my blood sugar tanked around 11am, and I spent the entire day trying to fix it and feel better, only to get hit with morning sickness. Today has been so miserable, I had a parent teacher meeting and had to act like I wasn't going to puke at any minute. Even zofran isn't helping. I guess when I feel better I'm gonna run to the store and stock up on ginger ale and crackers.
@doxiemoxie212 I gave 8 at my appointment yesterday too. typically I hate needles, like I cry like a 3 year old (at my annual my doctor usually does bw because of my anemia and my family history or diabetes) and I dread it every year, its so bad I skipped it this year. After my pap I was told to go to the lab I walked right out. I knew we were ttc so I figured I'd have bw soon enough. But something about being pregnant makes me man up. I just turn away and breath if I want info on my baby I have to suck it up.
@tudalu2516 I’m 8+3 and am still having cramping, I think it’s mostly intestinal though. I have a friend who is 30 weeks and said she still feels crampy every time she gets gassy.
Here's a weird TMI symptom- Always around week 7/8, if I dtd, I get painful welts, almost like burns- down there. I had it with the last two and apparently it's happened again. It's like my body's way of saying "keep out!" It always goes away, and I'm able to dtd later on, but this always happen at weeks 7/8.
@May14th2011 - something similar happens to me. I'm 5+2 right now and after we dtd my whole upper half gets really hot. I'm guessing that's what a hot flash feels like??? It only happens right after, and my face gets really red which never happened before.
So I've been absent here because my app hasn't been working. Well... Last night I had a dream about it and the app worked. It wasn't working when I checked 2 days ago. So I popped on today and wouldn't you know it! Working!! So that's my weird premonition symptom this week.

@krashke this may be TMI, but I didn't get any hemorrhoids until after DS was born. I tore badly and was so swollen that I didn't know it was there at the hospital. When I got home and the swelling went down, it felt like I had something stuck to me - either dry poop, or healing incorrectly or something. Turns out (after I made an appointment with the doctor), that it was just a hemorrhoid. They are the worst.
@doxiemoxie212 Ugh FX you're not getting sick! I had this problem earlier in the week when I went to the doc abut my fever - It is so hard to distinguish what is sickness and what is pregnancy.

Dry mouth, stuffed sinuses, crackling ears, on top of not sleeping. I would like to go back to bed now, plz. I am drinking water constantly and cannot get rid of the dry mouth. I'm gonna float away!
Anyone else having intense salt cravings? I'm only 7 weeks, third pregnancy. Never experienced salt cravings like this before. I read it can be due to increased blood volume but at only 7 weeks, haven't gained any weight, I can't imagine having much more blood volume
Pretty sure I had food poisoning or a 24 hr stomach bug Sunday night...hubs is convinced it was preg. related. I'm like nooope, things don't shoot out like that from preg- especially from someone who really doesn't get morning sickness and if I do it is super mild and brief.

I’m still aggressively napping. DS woke up early this morning for some reason and so I got up with him for a bit. He went down for a nap around 7:45-8 and I laid back down myself. He woke me up chattering on the monitor around 11:30. If he hadn’t woke me I think I could have just kept on going. We are moving in a week too, I have too much to do but I’m so tired. I’m sitting here watching him play just yawning and yawning like I didn’t just have a three hour nap.
Anyone else have a bad taste in their mouth? It is awful and won't go away. It isn't the same taste I get when anemic. But it is a metallic taste. So awful.
I had to go in yesterday for fluids. Bw was done and its just morning sickness. Found out today im having twins. I assume thats why all my symptoms are exaggerated.
I have had horrible nausea and chills constantly. I can't seem to get warm until in the middle of the night when I wake up and basically strip down because I am so hot. We haven't told our families yet and for some reason my DH thought it was a great idea to eat fish for his birthday with his family this weekend. Apparently he doesn't believe me when I say my sense of smell is crazy sensitive lol.
