What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?): CoQ10 300mg, vitamin D 2000mg, prenatals, clean eating as much as possible, raspberry leaf tea
Rants/Raves: just wanting AF to start so thanksgiving doesn’t bump my IVF cycle back! I worry about clinic closures after having my July cycle bumped back due to an RE conference closing our clinic for a week.
Questions for the group: Am I crazy to try a 5th IVF when I’ve had such bad results? I think my re thinks I am oh well!
GTKY: Something fun that you’re looking forward to? So my parents called very impromptu on Friday and invited us to join them on a cruise in April! They were so cute saying “we figure if you’re expecting that you wouldn’t be far enough along that we’d have to cancel so we thought this timing would be good.” I thanked them for staying hopeful! Maybe this relaxation will be what we need to make it happen if it hasn’t by then!
Something you’re thankful for? My family, including **tw** DD who is an adorable three year old astronaut for Halloween this year.**end tw**
CD, CD/DPO (if applicable): CD 23/ DPO 7
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?): prenatal, Vit D, COQ10, Zinc, Maca root, and raspberry leaf tea
Rants/Raves: TW I have a pretty tough week ahead.. so tomorrow is the 17th anniversary of my sisters death on 10/24/2000 she passed away after a long struggle with drug addiction. Her and I were 11 months apart, and it will be her birthday on Friday 10/27 which is the day of my first RE app. So many emotions going on right now.
Questions for the group: not that I can think of
GTKY: Something fun that you’re looking forward to? Well this up coming weekend we bought tickets to one of SOs favorite bands in Philly!! So need a night out!
Something you’re thankful for? I am so grateful for such an awesome mother! She offered us to move in to her upstairs( there’s a bathroom, a living room area and bedroom up there) once we are pregnant to help with everything and so we can save money so we don’t have to settle for an ok house and get something we want.
@Momifbysea ABSOLUTELY NOT!! You’re not crazy!! Though I’m not too familiar with what this process is like I’m sure it can’t be easy. So kudos to you, you are literally trying everything you can and I have a lot of respect for you to do this again!
Status (WTO/TWW/Benched/in process of testing or treatment): Taking Estrace (which I kind of think started kicking my butt about 9 days in - headaches and super tired, not to mention more belly gush than usual
CD, CD/DPO (if applicable): Real CD16, but manipulating this cycle so “fake” CD10ish (for fake ovulation this Saturday
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?): PNV, ubiquinol (still for cholesterol/heart health but reduced from 600 to 400), fish oil, vit c, d, e, low dose aspirin, recently added MegaFood blood builder (iron).
Rants/Raves: Sort of annoyed by how many Christmas decorations are in stores than Halloween ones. Granted, we should have started shopping for them sooner, but I saw Christmas decorations back in September!
Questions for the group: None that I can think of.
GTKY: Something fun that you’re looking forward to? It’ll be our first Halloween in our new house and there are tons of young kids in the neighborhood, so we’re looking forward to having actual trick or treaters!
Something you’re thankful for? My DH - although we may or may not have had to go through this had we been younger, I’m really glad I waited for him.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?): PNV, Ubiquinol, vit C, Maca and just started something called Thyraxin? Not sure if I'm spelling that right. my new doc prescribed that last one and I've ordered another one she wants me to take but it hasn't come in the mail yet. It's an amino acid of some sort. I had 9 viols of blood taken so when I meet with her on Thursday I'll be interested in my results.
Rants/Raves: I had to listen to a neighbor bitch about how she was pregnant with her 3rd opps - they only wanted 2 kids. Dang I've never heard so much anger from a pregnant woman. I just wanted to yell at her but instead I politely told her she should be grateful that it's healthy and she didn't loose it like I did.
GTKY: Something fun that you’re looking forward to? TW child mentioned - I'm really looking forward to the holidays with our kid. All the parties - she just lives for Christmas and it give me much joy to see her like that.
Something you’re thankful for? Yoga - not sure how my mind would be without it.
@ndz2018 - I'm sorry about your sister
@artemis618 - I'm with you on xmas decorations. I started shopping for halloween decor in early Sept and was annoyed they were out as well. It was giving all sorts of emotions since last Xmas we had the loss. We are going to make it happy this year.
I’m also very interested to hear what your results from the blood work tells you! Keep us posted
One of us has got to be due for some good news and let’s hope soon! Positive vibes to all of us!
CD, CD/DPO (if applicable): CD 30
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?): Waiting for AF should be here tomorrow since I started spotting today. Prenatal,Vitamin D, NeoQ10, baby aasprin, apple cider vinegar, red raspberry leaf
Rants/Raves: My sister started dating this guy last year I do not like him at all. My sister knows how I'm struggling getting pregnant. He has 2 kids and she's always posting taking my kiddos here and posting pictures. I'm OK with people posting their kid but knowing her she's doing it to try and make me jealous.
Questions for the group:
GTKY: Something fun that you’re looking forward to? My mom husband and I are taking a train ride this weekend to see the fall foliage and taking a ghost tour of the old jail
Something you’re thankful for? My husband hes the best. I couldn't ask for a better man.
@ndz2018 what band are you seeing? Im only about an hour from Philly.
Also if your sister is doing that on purpose that’s a pretty shit*y thing to do!! I sure hope she isn’t!!
@ndz2018 - it was 10 years ago and feels like so dang long ago. Just a shitty chapter in my life to actually end up a widow instead of divorced. Life is really weird sometimes. I told my new doc that only 1 of those tests was not covered by my insurance so she said I could get the basic level of that tested so I called my ins company again today to confirm that. Also I have another prog test wens at my OBs office. Ugh I'm over needles!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?): metformin, ovasitol, vitamin d, Coq10, prenat
Rants/Raves: Rant: i'm really frustrated i've been out of the gym for the last few weeks... i know it sounds silly but running is where my mind got in the right place but my Dr has asked me not to do any high impact exercise right now
GTKY: Something fun that you’re looking forward to? Holidays!!! October- December is my absolute favorite
Something you’re thankful for? My amazing supportive husband and a job i love

Afm AF showed this morning decided to take this cycle off as well and continue naturally. I normally ovulater a little later in my cycle 16 or 17 so when I do a medicated cycle it pushes everything forward and they make me ovulate around day 12 or 13 that won't work since DH is away and we wouldn't be able to BD prior to the IUI. If I do natural I will miss the first two days of fertile window but he will be home for the rest.
My BFF since grade school sounds like your friend she messages me that she thinks she's pregnant like every time I talk to her wouldn't it be cool if we were pregnant at the same time then she will text me back *TW* oh never mind I think it was a misscarrige. *End TW* I mean really who does that. Needless to say I ended our friendship. Its hard enough going thru this without people thinking its some kind of joke to get attention.
I text SO this morning to tell him the test was negative and his response made me cry tears of happiness... man oh man I am so glad I waited for him!
As for the RE, I guess I have mixed emotions.. I am excited that we are finally going but feel a little bit of a failure. Im also excited to take the pressure off the both of us, which in essence may be our issue too. I’m also nervous that something may be wrong with me
my prog test was easy. I should know tomorrow what that came back as. As for me doing treatments with an RE the thought brings out anxiety since I have a history of it but I know at a certain point if nothing has happened we will persue it.
Also I'm not going to lie that TTCAL is a crazy thing. My fear with clomid is thinned lining which is not good for an embryo to attach to possibly leaving me with another loss and i have no control over that. With the holidays coming up I really want it to be a non stressful time esp with DD since last xmas she was excited to be a big sister and then a week later found out she wasn't. I want xmas to be happy this year esp for her. I also need to stay with my clear mind for a little bit longer.
also I am going to assume we can still try naturally while we are getting all these test done?
If anyone has any input on this I’d love to hear it
Is this Thyraxis something that you were deficient in? Or she just wanted you to start taking it?
***tw*** I will say the testing is good and I 100% believe the HSG is what helped me get pregnant naturally last time.... DH & I had been together 8 years NTNP and suddenly 3 months after that test i get pregnant (we had stopped trying through the holidays at that point) ... i know it's not 100% scientific proof but we are pretty confident that i had minor blockages and that is what helped *** end tw ***

hoping whatever it is, or potential problem is easily treatable, if there is one. I’m a little nervous about the fibriods as a friend of mine had 4 the size of oranges and had to have surgery to remove them, they tried IUI first and didn’t take... TW After that they did IVF and each time ended in miscarriages, they stopped trying after their insurance stopped covering it last year END TW. I know mine were minuscule compared to hers a few years ago but still scares me to think they may have grown. I need to stop speculating!! And just keep a positive mind set!
I dont even preg test since I know I'll always get AF.
Everyone has had a different path in this ttc thing. I have little patience so it has been hard on me BUT knowing I have no control and accepting what has happened and being at peace had really helped me.
my doc believes I'm a bit low on it thru her kinesiology thing she did on me but it will be confirmed in blood test. She also believes I'm low on amino acids. She doesn't believe I have thyroid issues but she believes that in my pituitary glad is not producing enough T3 for my thyroid so she thinks my T3 will show low. Ok guys I'm ok if you think I'm BSC right now.
So this question is to everyone! What are some questions I should be asking when I go Friday? SO went through this with his ex wife.. nothing to do with him apparently she had poor egg quality so at least he knows a little bit more than I do on this subject, but would still love to hear your feedback as well. All suggestions welcome
I haven't seen an RE but I would want to know all tests he suggests and why. Also know what options he thinks are best for you guys. Once it gets to the medicine part is when I'd want to know side effects. I'd want to know why they are doing every little thing they do.
