@SarahFoley725 house hunting is so emotionally draining, I can’t imagine doing while pregnant AND having a little one. I burst into tears over it multiple times when I only had to make the decisions alone. Sending BIG hugs!!
Took a half day off from work today to get our Fetal Echo cardiogram this morning (baby looks great!). Came into work to a HORRIBLE report from the sub about my 1st two classes (a horrible report that was confirmed by the handful of students who did not misbehave, but were very happy to freely offer information about those who did). I should have taken the whole day...

It must be in the air. My normally awesome preschoolers were wild animals this morning! At least it's Wednesday?

OMG. It’s only Wednesday??? I was sitting here thinking it was Thursday and I only had to get through one more day this week.
The "just wait" thing reminds me of the comments I'd get pre-pregnancy. If I said I was tired, or busy or <fill in the blank>, parents were so quick to say "You don't know what tired/busy/whatever feels like because you don't have kids."

Omg agreed! Pre pregnancy someone I know had a Facebook status about how she managed to mow the entire front and back lawn and therefore should get wife of the year award. I was currently in the process of packing up the house and moving my husband and I to another province all on my own (he had to be across the country for training). So I jokingly wrote on her status that I would like to nominate myself for the award seeing as I just packed up an ENTIRE HOUSE AND MOVED TO ANOTHER PROVINCE on my own. And she commented ‘no offense, but while impressive, you don’t have two children.’
and I’m like. Wait. What. Because you have two children, taking 45 minutes out of your day to mow the lawn trumps packing and moving.....
@pandappanderson I found it so condescending. I get it - you have kids and that's very consuming and exhausting, but don't take away from my feelings or actions because of it. Even now I'm getting it - when I was in first tri and exhausted, I had people saying "just wait..." Ugh. I just hope I don't turn into that person after baby is born.
P.S. Where are you moving to/from? I'm in Manitoba.
Every time I hear a "Just wait" followed by something about how horrible kids make your life I want to reply "Wow, your kids sound like monsters." Just for funsies.

My bitchfest is with the android app. Three days and still not working. No response from Bump support. Unless they get this fixed I will be AWOL until Monday. I'm so frustrated. How can they release an update that completely crashes the whole damn app? Also they've made it so you can't access the webpage via any mobile device. I tried to install the app on my iPad mini but it's not compatible & doesn't work unless it's on a brand new iOS iPhone. AURGH!!!!!!

So many WTFs this week. My cat died on Monday. She was 14 and had thyroid disease but was running around playing in the yard with her brother an hour before I found her. I’ve got horrible allergies right now and Tylenol doesn’t even touch my sinus headache. DH has the man cold so he’s grumpy and “dying” but won’t take medicine because it makes him “feel funny.” And when I complain about being tired my mom says “sleep now because you aren’t going to get any sleep when baby comes.” And “if you think you’re tired now, wait till DS3 comes.”
Yes mom, because that’s how sleep works. You store it up so you have lots of energy in 18 weeks when baby comes.
The only good thing this week is that the boys are finally over their croup stuff.
@hms1219 I am so sorry about your kitty. My oldest doggie is old enough that her dying wouldn't be unexpected, but would still be a huge loss for me. I'm so sorry. As far the rest, I feel your frustration to all of those things, especially the "just wait" crap. People need to learn some manners or stop speaking.
@hms1219 I feel like you hit the trifecta of bitchfest this week. I'm sorry about your cat, it's so hard to lose a pet.
I have a weird one I just remembered. My mom and best friend are throwing me a shower on Nov. 4. The invitation said to RSVP by Oct. 28. I sent my friend a list of guests and emails (it was a paperless post invite) and she's been monitoring responses. So twice now she's asked me to contact a guest because they hadn't responded either way yet, and my mom wants to "order something" for the shower based on the headcount. Well, first of all, the invitation says they still have two weeks to respond. Second, when I contact someone about the invite, to me it sounds like I'm saying "Hey, are you bringing me a present?" and makes me sound super rude (if only in my own head). I wish they would contact them so I'm not put in that position. Or just mark them as a no. Or order extras.

@hms1219 I'm sorry about your cat. Losing a fur baby is always so hard!
@eggplantface Ugh sorry they put you in that position! I'm definitely in the camp of order too many just in case. If it's email, too, your friend can easily follow up with them instead of ask you!
@hms1219 So sorry about your fur baby! Losing a pet is so hard, and many people, who are not pet owners, just don't seem to get it sometimes.
@eggplantface - I agree, it's not your responsibility to follow up on RSVPs. Maybe if it was after the RSVP date, but right now it just seems weird. If your mom wanted to ordered something and it's based on head count, they should have set the RSVP by date sooner or be prepared to ordered enough for all, whether they come or not.
I just remembered that late last night, as o was falling asleep, DH told me that he wants to/is planning to go to a college basketball game a week before my EDD. The game is 3+ hrs away in the mountainous, snowy part of the state. It also means that, at 39 weeks pregnant, he will be leaving me alone to take care of our 90lb dog. Not gonna happen, dude.

THIS!!! I generally only mobile bump and it's bugging the crap out of me that I can't participate in posts unless I'm on my computer. I'm seconding your bitchfest!

Did you set him straight yet?
Oh, yes. That game will he enjoyed via TV, hopefully from the comfort of our own home.
My "Monday" bitchfest...aka it's Friday and it's happening in like 20 mins and I'm STILL worked up about it... My MIL is spending the weekend with us from VT. Which means a few things... 1. I'm a prisoner in my house. She hates people, being social, anything fun...so we spend the whole weekend locked in the house and 2. Her fiancé (aka soon to be husband #4 is creepy and the worst...and I don't want him to touch my son 3. I have all the judgmental things she likes to say/ passively aggressively do to look forward to. 4. She has an intellectually disabled older brother who lives with her and the last time, he made his hand into a gun, pointed it at my son and said 'bang bang' which sent my anxiety level through the roof. T minus 20 to doomsday and I'm trying not to hyperventilate. I like NONE of this. Can it be Sunday yet?!
Edit--I realize that when I say he's going to touch my son that sounds SUPER creepy haha I just mean my kid sat in his lap last time they were here and he's even more socially inept than my MIL so it skeeves me out and I'm hoping it won't happen again. I think I made him sound like a predator so to clarify...he's just a weirdo haha
