Eyes slightly open and enjoying her sucky! This was taken right before I held her yesterday. No longer on an IV! Just a feeding tube and air to help her breathe and also just heart monitors and things like that. She is doing so great:) I love her tiny hands and feet!
@ottergirl81 she is beautiful! I'm so happy to see that she is looking so great! Thank you for the update and keep the pictures coming!! My heart is so full for you guys!!
She's precious! So glad she's doing well. Continued prayers for her recovery in the NICU! And for you as well, I'm sure it's hard to not have your sweet baby at home with you guys
So much happened this past week! Too much to say. Was very sick but she is getting better, just slowly. She enjoys pulling her breathing tube out and keeping all the nurses on their toes! She loves hearing me read to her. Because of all that went on I haven't been able to hold her in over a week. We'll see how shes doing today and maybe I finally can again.
Awww I’m sorry to hear that she was sick but glad she’s on the mend!! Good healthy vibes going her way!! What a fighter! Hope you get to hold her again soon!!!
@ottergirl81 She's beautiful! Prayers for a better next week. Glad she is on the mend, and also glad she's keeping the nurses on their toes - it means she gets extra attention and she deserves it! Hoping you get to hold your sweetie today or very soon.
So much has happend! Was a very busy time. We almost lost our little peanut. From infections to wanting to give up breathing all together, our girl fought her way through it all! She is doing much much better now and still needs a bit of help with breathing, but its like day and night from what happened over a month ago. She's learning how to bottle feed and hopefully will breast feed also eventually. Still not sure as to when we can bring her home; my original due date is January 16, so we might know more around that time. Thank you everyone for all the thoughts, prayers and love! Its been a crazy journey for us. Also, she is almost 4 pounds! Still very teeney tiny:)
Thanks so much for coming back to update! Personally, I've been wondering how you and Amelia are doing but I'm sure the rest of the ladies here have had you in their thoughts as well! Continued thoughts and prayers for you both
