@izza2 I totally get what you're saying about the new board. I feel like I took a wrong turn on the interwebs this morning when I didn't go directly to TTGP to catch up with everyone. It feels like moving to a new town. You're pumped to be in the new place, but you have to rebuild all your relationships. You have to find new friends, find a new favorite dry cleaners/restaurant, etc.
I wanted to say congrats to @krashke and @LaceyBee522 since there wasn't anything posted in the grad thread for both of you. I'm really happy for you both and all of the TTGP grads!!!!!!!! I'll miss both of your postings!
@LaceyBee522, didn't we all have to overlap to be here? Though, admittedly, I stopped posting in the dailies a while back when it stopped being fun.
If you had opposite cycles you wouldn't necessarily overlap outside of the random and other threads like that. I know there were a couple of cycles is only get to interact with certain people once or twice on the dailies unless i posted in the opposite daily thread.
Generally if you were on TB for more than a month, you'd recognize everyone on this thread, though...
@izza2@icecubeinthedesert I didn't necessarily overlap with everyone. I mostly hung out in the IF thread, but sometimes came out to play in the randoms and whatnot. Never posted in WTO or TWW since my cycles were like 90+ days, I would have had to have lived in WTO!
I feel like TTGP is crickets and it makes my heart hurt.
I think this happens after some BFPs are shared. I noticed it was getting more quiet the last month, but it always seemed to be most quiet after we had grads. I think it tends to hurt a little, no matter how happy you are for someone.
@icecubeinthedesert That's a fair and accurate point! Maybe it is just because I was a long-time lurker before posting so didn't connect with anyone's username/pic until I actually started interacting. Or to @izza2's point maybe we were just on different threads in there. Either way, I didn't mean any offense - happy to see everyone here!

How are you feeling? Have been feeling generally really good and positive. Am a little anxious today because I had my blood taken for my second beta (my first came back at a whopping 4.9 because I coincidentally had my RE follow-up the day I got a vvl). I have continued to POAS like a nut and the tests are darkening, so I think the beta will be fine but I still can't help but be anxiously awaiting that call. Question to the group - Does anyone else listen to the podcast Matt & Doree's Eggsellent Adventure? Spoiler for the show:
Doree did her second transfer this past month and got an initial beta of 6.5, and a second beta of 13 which they revealed on the pod they just released. I was listening to the podcast on my way to and from the dr's office this morning for my own draw, life is so weird like that. She is feeling really down about that but I am hoping so hard that their embryo just implanted a little late.
GTKY: How did you tell your SO you were KU? I used a photo editing app to write on a photo of my little niece "[Niece's name] expected to be the big cousin, June, 2018." TW I didn't think I would want to do anything cutesy because of my losses but I surprised myself. end TW

Got a call from my RE this afternoon. HCG levels are at 263 and they were wanting to see at least 300. Looks like a CP. I'm going back for a consult on Wed, and having more BW done an hour before to confirm their suspicions. Things aren't looking good over here. I'll probably be laying low until I know for sure either way. Sending you guys all the love and positive thoughts

@Hollyyyyy May I ask - what was your previous level and how long ago? I have done an unhealthy amount of research on hCG levels and from what I have read the doubling thing (while ideal) is not ironclad. If your rise is over 35% in 48 hours you can still be on track. I am thinking of you, I know how anxiously you are waiting for answers.
@zamora_spin It was at 52 last Wednesday. I'm praying that it is just a hiccup and things figure themselves out. My RE said there is a small chance that things will get back on track, but she sounded doubtful, which pretty much took the wind out of my sails. I think she just doesn't want to get my hopes up. At this point I'm in the "Expect the worst, but hope for the best" kind of mindset. I just want to know either way.
@Hollyyyy I am am not a dr but I think your dr is overreacting. Here is a good calculator - when I put your numbers in I am getting a doubling time of around 51 hours... that is honestly almost perfect as you want to see doubling every 48-72 hours...
@zamora_spin Wow, I really hope you are right. If she is wrong (and I hope to God she is), I'm going to lose my mind. I left work an hour early today because I just started bawling when she called me. You'd think in that profession they would tread lightly with how they phrase that kind of news. Thank you for the positivity.
@Hollyyyyy I am hoping so hard for good news for you. I am, again, not a dr, but personally I would be happy to have those numbers and I'm surprised your dr is freaking you out without more info, they could have just said let's do a third beta. I know you will be so anxious waiting and I just want you to know I'm thinking of you.
