Still not sure if I’m prego?

hi all! This would be my 3rd pregnancy, first is beautiful baby girl, had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago (no cycle in between) and I think I’m prego again. I have almost all the symptoms (had more symptoms at conception but still) just minus super sore boobs (though today’s they are hurting)... took a million tests all neg, but today took a dollar store and had a VERY faint line, also took a blue dye reg test and nothing. Technically I am 1-2 weeks late for my period (but not sure since my last period was my miscarriage). I conceived sept 28.(ovulated that same night). Anyone else take FOREVER to get positives? Is it in my head? With my first kiddo I got BFP super early. Same with the second MC, but the MC’s were faint... help! I just don’t know why I’m almost 2 weeks late for a period when I’m a fertile myrtle and VERY regular!! I’m so thirsty I couldn’t drink a freakin pool, peeing a lot, im starving but not, BAD headaches, small food aversions but nothing like first 2 pregnancies, high BBT daily (ranging 99.2-99.8) and sorry if tmi but slight yellow CM watery...

I'm sorry for your loss.

Symptoms can be decieving and until you are able to turn a test, you are not pregnant. My suggestion would be to get ahold of some FRER's (straight handle). They are very sensitive. Were you charting? Sometimes your cycle can be weird after a loss and longer than usual - I know that was true for me. Also, did your dr follow your hCG down to zero? You won't have a regular cycle until those hormones are out of your system.

Lastly, if you get your BFP and join us here just keep in mind some folks on this board have struggled with IF and try to be sensitive when discussing being a "fertile myrtle"/how easy it is to get pregnant.

This would be a good opportunity to go to your doctor and get a test done. They could confirm that for you. Good luck!

I am very sorry for your loss. I mention going to the doctor because it was so recent to know like @zamora_spin said that your hormones were completely out of your system. Again, best wishes and luck!

I agree with what others said FRER is the most sensitive, and if that doesn't show - double check with your doctor to get blood work done. GL

Congratulations on being a fertile myrtle!! Must be nice!! I'm sure all of the ladies who have battled IF would love to read about how easy it is for you to get KU!

Take a test. If it's negative, you're not pregnant at this time. Wait a couple of days and test again. If you had a loss your doctor should have followed your HCG down to zero. If they didn't, ask for some blood work.

::lurking from TTGP:: @zamora_spin. Is here a difference between straight handle FRER and the curved ones or digital FRER? I hadn’t seen anyone mention there straight handle before!

@jrm_14 So FRER is of course the gold standard of pregnancy tests - very sensitive. FRER released a curved handle design (haven't seen it much lately, they may have pulled them) and people were complaining in reviews that they were causing *possible* false positives because of the way the urine was pooling (I know, gross). The FRER is the best digi on the market but it's still not quite as sensitive as a regular FRER - but I do think it's VERY sensitive for a digi and it gives you that nice definitive reading.

@jrm_14 the curved handles are also really difficult to see faint positives on which sort of defeats the purpose of a super sensitive test
