I’m 4+1 and have terrible constipation and little annoying pinching cramps (not sure if uterus or just gas-associates side effect of the constipation). Strangely, all food tastes bitter to me. Like the bitter tastebuds at the back of my tongue are working overtime.
Constant dry mouth. Nausea hits me in waves. Still some intense food aversions. I feel like I'm eating near constantly to avoid the nausea waves and exhausted.
The morning sickness isn't nearly as bad as it was with DS but still making me grouchy
Edited to add: the gas is soo bad too! I was burping all day/night yesterday
-Baked chicken is the devil. Just typing that made the nausea roll over me.
-Coffee started tasting like metal 1.5 weeks ago. So I dropped it cold turkey and already suffered through the withdrawal headache a week before finding out I was pregnant. Biology is amazing!
-I'm starving at breakfast and lunch, then no appetite at dinner. I want lots of carbs!
-I'm already seeing a drop in energy levels. The next 7 weeks should be interesting chasing after my 11-month-old!

@izza2 +1 to being an irritable b*tch. It’s amazing how much I dgaf right now haha
nausea definitely comes and goes for me right now, which I’ll take! I was sick for my entire pregnancy with DD, so any relief right now is so nice (even if it makes me paranoid).
Defintely exhausted all all the time too. Oy.

I’m not really hungry at all, not real food aversions yet though. I have some stretching and slight cramping and I’m exhausted during the day but sleep like crap at night. Lately I have been SUPER emotional, like crying at everything and my anxiety comes in waves because pgal brain makes me crazy.
4w5d so I know it's normal for symptoms to come and go but it is freaking me out so much this time. I probably need to refill my anxiety meds and take them consistently (it is one considered ok for pg). I was laying in bed this morning and felt normal. Not bloated, no nausea, and actually felt kind of rested for once. Then I got up and realized that my breasts still hurt and nausea rolled over me.
I'm not pgal so the only reason I can figure out why I'm worrying so much is my anxiety. Someone talk me down!
@sabby2 I understand how youre feeling, I have anxiety and it's easy for me to snowball. Hopefully you will feel better after your first appointment and not quite as anxious. Will it be soon?
I think its safe to say, you wont necessarily feel symptoms all the time and can vary day to day and for each person. I know it's easier said than done, but try to keep yourself or mind busy. It doesnt work for everyone but I really stand by deep breaths/meditation when I feel myself getting amped up. Here for you!
So after telling my mom (and then her sister) that I'm pregnant, they both said they never had any nausea when pregnant until second trimester. They both thought they'd get away without any and then got a ton after 12 weeks. I don't have any nausea at 7 weeks... hopefully I just don't get any at all.
My boobs hurt so much. And they've grown tremendously. I don't know how I'm going to find bras soon. I started out a 30DD, but I already can't fit the cup size. I'm not even sure if larger 30, or even 32, cup sizes readily exist. Maybe my band size will grow soon?
I'm officially hungry all the time. Like, all the time.
@doxiemoxie212 fx youbdont get hit with nausea! I'm a 36g /36ff. Bras in the bigger sizes are available, but 'speciality' and often priced as a speciality My mom lives in England and the bigger sizes are much more affordable/available and cuter there so I have her bring them for me when she visits. (In pregnancy #1, I quickly switches to nursing/sports bras for comfort though and they were very easy to find and affordable)
I'm laying in bed again trying to nap, but gave up trying to sleep after an hour. I'm so tired but can't seem to sleep. Anyone have experience with unisom so sleeping purposes?
the nausea is in full force. No vomiting but I feel sea sick all the time.
As as a result of no sleep and nausea I am turning into a b*tch. A big one.
@doxiemoxie212 Bras seem like a good thing to ask STM's about. I've heard the advice before to consider just buying nursing bras. Yesterday I was SO HUNGRY. I also pumped some extra electrolytes into my body and today I've been pretty normal on hunger.
I mentioned this in PGAL but does anyone else get muscle spasms - I have them especially in my legs but also for about an hour this am had them in my abdomen (mostly on the left)? They don't hurt. Thinking the legs and abdomen are two different things. Am gong to see if we can check electrolytes tomorrow at dr but curious if anyone else has experienced these.
@doxiemoxie212 My band size went up but it didn't happen until later on like 6/7m-ish. My DD liked to hang out high and I think expanded my rib cage a bit.
I don't remember what I did for bras last time. I think I was mostly good until after delivery. Then when I BF I had to buy different bras. I loved the nursing bras I had but for the life of me can't remember the brand (you think I would considering I wore them and nursed DD until she was almost 2...).
@zamora_spin I did a lot the first couple weeks, not any more, though. I got them pretty frequently not pregnant, though, so I'm maybe not the best case.
@zamora_spin I has a ton of leg cramping with my first and took calcium and .magnesium supplements. They seemed to help.
With my first I was in regular bras for a while. This time I'm already getting uncomfortable (and I just stopped nursing my son this summer so that surprises me)
@doxiemoxie212 I like Debenhams bras (from the UK as I mentioned. I *think* the ship international) their DD+ sizing starts at 28 band. Just be careful about your sizing changing later in pregnancy and then again after babe gets here. Especially if you plan to bf
@meagster13 dope, thanks! Yeah, I think I can push through with my bras as is for now, but I was worried if my boobs got bigger (which I'm sure they will) that I'd be SOL.
After a very rude response on a different post I guess I should be posting my symptoms here. Anyone have any coping suggestions for all day nausea and having a toddler? Congrats on everyone's pregnancy❤️
@doxiemoxie212 if you don’t mind spending some $$$ Nordstrom will turn any of their bras into nursing bras. I’m a 32DD and my band never changed through pregnancy. I lived in sports bras towards the end tho for comfort haha
Me: 28 | Husband: 39 Married March 2016 DD: born 7.22.16 DS EDD: 6.23.18
I got some nursing bras from Soma for my 1st pregnancy. I had the ones from motherhood but I didn't think they gave me the shape needed to look good under clothing.
@doxiemoxie212 Yes, you'll probably go up in band size in late pregnancy. I just made do with the bras I had, though. I never even bought nursing bras and I nursed both my babies over a year. I just pushed my Victoria Secret ones down and popped a boob out. The one nursing bra I bought from Target had zero support and didn't look good under my clothes. (Maybe if I'd shelled out more money I could've gotten a nicer nursing bra but I found that my regular bras worked just fine.) Also, my boobs change so much throughout pregnancy and nursing that I can't afford to invest in nice bras for each stage of the journey. This is my last pregnancy and after I wean this babe I plan to invest in some nice flattering bras.
@deepearson09 It's rough. I had all day nausea (no vomiting) and fatigue with both of my prior pregnancies. It's especially tough with a needy little person running around. Only upside is you have an excuse to ask for a break (from your husband, mom, a friend, anyone you can confide in early on about the pregnancy.) You're growing a human, you can milk it a bit.
Light spotting this afternoon & after feeling an emotional wreck last weekend I was finally starting to “feel pregnant” again Wednesday or so. And now this. Dr appointment at noon tomorrow, (previously scheduled) I’ll probably go tf off if I don’t have some clarity tomorrow. I’m so tired of the mental turmoil.
Anyway I got my first hint of nausea yesterday morning at homecoming (there was so many smells it was overwhelming). My sleep has been interrupted since my bfp between waking up to pee and accidentally rolling to my stomach and my boobs screaming. I’ve been sure to be in bed at 10pm or earlier but something wakes me up between 3-4am and it takes awhile to go back to sleep.
sabby2 I feel ya. When I was pregnant with DD, I had nausea in weeks 6 and 7. In week 8 it vanished and never came back. I freaked the F out for a week until I got to see her heart beat! I told myself I wouldn't do this to myself again, yet here I am all paranoid that I have zero symptoms at all (even though I am only 5 weeks).
@doxiemoxie212 I am a 32DDD and my ribcage majorly stretched out during pregnancy. I had to buy a bra back extender! Luckily, it did go back to normal eventually. Heidi Klum nursing bras were by far my favorite. They come in large cup sizes, but I think 32 might be the smallest band. They legitimacy held up my boobs without an underwire which is nothing short of a miracle.
Had a super vivid dream that we were staying at a hotel with friends and there was like a midnight buffet, and they invited me to their secret "bigger buffet". Parmesan chicken sandwiches and chocolate and veggie wraps and guac dip and potato salad... I was in absolute heaven.
ETA: oops, meant to stick this in randoms, my bad!
Are panic attacks a symptom? Had my first last night. I just felt so overwhelmed. I've only ever spent 1 night away from DD, and knowing I will have to spend 2-3 nights, made me start freaking out. She's my baby, my girl, and I don't know how i'm going to manage two
Me: 28 | Husband: 39 Married March 2016 DD: born 7.22.16 DS EDD: 6.23.18
@sunshineandwhiskey I think pregnancy anxiety is legit. I'm in a similar boat. I've never spent a night away from DS and he half co sleeps (starts in his bed, comes into ours between 12-3am). We are trying to figure out where we can go for someone to stay with him overnight. (Or if we are ok with him sleeping at someone's house)
Round ligament pain started already and, what I have lovingly nicknamed, lightning crotch- sharp electric shock like pains down there when you sneeze. These didn’t start until second tri with my last pregnancy, so I’m a little surprised it started already.
I am a crusty, crabby, no patience, sore, cranky, insomniac. Frankly, I am in "no mood" to deal with anything. DH can do nothing right. And looking at my horribly dirty kitchen is making me angry, but the nausea from smelling any food is keeping me from cleaning. DH will be up shortly, to take care of it. This cranky mood shall pass. I am sure... BUT MAN! These hormones I am taking are just running me ragged!
Mama to a wonderful DD - Sep 2015, Wife to my DH since 2011, 2 dogs, a cat, and hoping to add No. 2 in May/June 2018. Canadian. 5 - IUIs, 3 - IVF retrievals, 2- failed transfers (fresh, and frozen), PGS on second IVF resulted in 1 perfect emby, and DD. 3rd IVF w PGS resulted in 3! perfect embys. 1st transfer - Sep 2017 2 more on ice.

I was really sick with dd so it's hard not to compare.
Trying to just do things to take my mind off of it and trust the process.

For fatigue, has anyone stayed active throughout previous pregnancies and found that exercise lessons their fatigue?
(I have hibernated and eaten starchy foods to survive my past 2 first trimesters...)
