@crossfitbabybump I know! I know!! Super clear scan...his poor little nose is gonna get tons of kisses! I can't wait!! My hubby laughs at me and says I'm gonna scare our baby with my face in his face..."not her again"! LMAO
Well...it's when they're little that a mama has most opportunity to kiss her boy.
@orbmaker - I sure do! We are going to ask for them to print better u/s pics for us since the first time around she wouldn't stay still so they weren't very clear. But feeling her and knowing how active she is already, I highly doubt she will sit still for this one either, let alone let mom and dad have a nice picture of her, haha! Hope to see your LO!! So tiny and cute!
These ultrasound pics are ADORABLE!!! I cannot deal with the cuteness! Lol. My anatomy scan is scheduled for Wednesday the 18th. YAAAY! I am so bummed bc my partner cannot get off work. He tried everything BUT has back to back meetings he cannot change. I absolutely hate that he will not be there!!! But I am super excited to see how our little girl is developing!
Anatomy scan yesterday. Our 2 year old daughter had fun at it. I tried to figure out what we’re having (Team Green) but I had no clue what we were seeing! Left arm was up, right leg was crossed up and right arm was apparently between it’s legs...guess it knew to hide!
She kept snuggling her face into the placenta, curling up in a ball, doing headstands, and otherwise obscuring her profile. Too funny! I feel like my uterus needs to catch up with her 'cos she looked so squished! I'm just floating on cloud nine up here; it feels so warm and fuzzy to know her a little better. Everything on the anatomy scan looked good
Had mine a few weeks ago (18 weeks) he would not cooperate so everything is blurry. I have to go back next month to check on a calcification on my uterus. Hopefully he will let them get what they need and the calcification hasn’t grown. It’s freaking me out a bit but I’m just pushing it out of my mind for now because odds are it’s totally normal.
@nancysimp - we even got a video of it that the u/s tech put on a disc for us! It was so amazing to see! But she did it the whole time so it was hard to get a good 3D image of her face which was really what I wanted to see! Lol
I've been MIA (but still lurking occasionally!) hope everyone is doing well! If anyone is thinking about doing an 3D/4D ultrasound, DO IT! I am amazed at how good the pictures turned out at just 17 weeks
I still think ultrasound pictures look scary, but hey an anatomy scan near Halloween! Team Green, so we didn't find out how baby pees, but the doctor and tech had fun teasing me the whole time about it! Now it's driving me insane that they know something that I don't know. Still have complete placenta previa
Had our anatomy scan today, and everything looks great!! We are also team green, but my husband is convinced he "saw a glimpse of something" and now knows what it is. My bet is he saw the umbilical cord!
Anatony scan today, at 20 weeks 1 day! I was oddly reassured that I do have an anterior placenta. Even though this is my first child and I was chubby enough that it didn’t worry anyone that I wasn’t sure if I felt him, and if so only all the way to one side. He is measuring exactly on target for the day, heartrae was 140 and she said if I hadn’t already known the sex and if I had not wanted to, that we would have had to look away for so much of the time, he seemed determined to wave that little weiner into every view
Twice the second half of my post has been cut off, if it isn’t really gone and I am repeating myself I’m so sorry! So almost everything was great, but his kidneys are very slightly dilated, I am trying to be calm about it, the doctor was pretty nonchalant about it, he said it more than likely will correct itself before birth, that it is not uncommon, and that the worst case scenario would be treatment after birth that is fairly non invasive. BUT I am of course freaking out a little, and would love any insight from anyone with experience with this issue. Also, the second photo I posted is his feet from below, if it’s not clear.
@leilaquinn my son had a similar diagnosis. He had testing done at six months which was scary in itself but everything had corrected itself and he is a perfectly healthy nine year old. Prayers yours is the same.
@syssa-o yep, I think that was it, thank you. and thanks for the good thoughts @syssa-o, @crossfitbabybump, @ShawnnaO and @megpeg. I am feeling better today, I of course would rather have heard that nothing was the slightest bit concerning, but I read a lot of fairly encouraging information last night. I will have another ultrasound at 28 weeks to see how it's doing.
Got to be an ultrasound model again today! 19w6d and loved seeing our squish.
discovered I have an anterior placenta again this time which completely explains why I only feel the baby on my sides. Excited to see our baby again on the 1st for our official anatomy scan.
Shots from my A/S last night (at 19w 1d)! Also had some good front-face shots of her skull, which seemed a little extra appropriate for October xD She was so active, but the tech was still able to check everything pretty quickly and she got some really nice shots. Impressed with the little hand especially.
This is from our A/S today! (19w3d). We got this Halloween skeleton shot. We didn't get any 'nice' profile pictures because her face was smooshed up against the placenta most of the time. For almost the whole appointment she had her legs crossed and her arm on her chest (covering views of the heart) so the tech was getting frustrated. But she said they got everything they needed. The tech said she was measuring ahead and HB was 150. It was such a cool experience and I'm so sad I don't have any more ultrasounds! I wish I could have one every day.
Thinking of all the other ladies with anatomy scans today!

We had our anatomy scan yesterday! Everything looks great and it’s for sure a boy! He was curled up in a ball and didn’t want to cooperate for her to get a profile shot. She also got a shot of him giving the #1 sign but didn’t send it to us for some reason.
We had our anatomy scan on Friday! Everything looked great. She was a little wiggly so it's a little blurry... but it was so awesome to see this perfect little face.

Our daughter! She sucked her thumb the whole time! Measuring right on track at 21 weeks and she's 14 oz! Almost a whole pound! Our hearts are full!
edited to crop out name oops
I love all these babies. Keep em coming, guys! My anatomy scan is still 4 weeks away.. sigh

Here's our baby girl at our anatomy scan last week (18+2). She is smiling . She was moving a lot but ultimately very cooperative.
Measuring in 57th percentile, HB was 159, and we swear we see the resemblance to DD!
We are in love with our Squish

also, if you use an emoji, it'll cut off your message after that point! Not sure if that may be the issue!
