Afm -- 5 of our 7 fertilized eggs made it to blast! Such a relief. They have all been biopsied and frozen. The PGD testing will take 15 or so days, so we are eagerly awaiting that...but with our 50/50 odds, we could have 2 or 3 embryos that are ok and ready for FET. I'm really hoping all of our future babies are in there
@artemis618 thanks and don't worry I have all your plans well noted and am not too shy to PM you if I have more questions before next Thursday ;-) and my RE does not use BCP for his golden oldies, so it will be another form of suppression. Plus if you only have one follie you don't have to worry about it being dominant hehehe ;-)
@adirat awesome news to get 5!!! Spreadsheet once again updated :-) The more you and the others beat the odds the more peace I feel that we will have our time. DH and I just went out for dinner and we said we will review after 3 cycles if we take a second opinion, but that as long as I still have eggs and his sperm is still good we keep going beyond that. With my low numbers it just takes longer to find our golden egg than if you can get 10 blasts a cycle like @artemis618!
Hope nobody else has to come join me in Nov IVF but if you do I'm setting the spreadsheet up already ;-) @cxsimo08 would love if you find a way to join us though

Hi ladies it looks like I have a lot to catch up on because I was away for a couple days. But just wanted to quickly update the group on my PGS results. We found out that of the two embryos we tested, one is normal And the other one isn’t. I guess that at my age that’s not too surprising and I should say I am thrilled to have at least one normal embryo at the end of the cycle. The question became do we want to go through another round of IVF to hopefully be more embryos or should we just do a transfer. And it’s a tough choice because where I am with my insurance at this point it would cost me almost nothing to do another IVF cycle but because the insurance only allows two cycles per lifetime if I do this frozen then my next IVF cycle should I have to go down that route will be fully out of pocket. I want serious consideration DH and I came to a decision that we should not create more embryos unless it’s absolutely necessary to. So I’m other words, we will transfer this one and hope for the best. I know a lot of ladies go down the banking route, but I feel like this is the best option for us. Transfer will be on 10/24 so now this has become very real. I’m excited and scared at the same time. Oh and BTW, we also know the gender of the embryo!!!
@rainbows2018 oh wow! FET fast approaching! And huge congrats on having a normies from your two, I know you were really worried! Wishing you all the luck in the world!

@emmasemm Thanks friend. You will beat the odds, too. You will find the "golden egg" as @Hopeful_mom says. You will try a different protocol or get some different tests or something but you WILL have your family. I know it.
@adirat Yay for five blasts! That was the most I had out of my previous cycles and we got our one normal from that one (but again, my % is below average for my age). Fx you have more than one in there!
@emmasemm Just wanted to clarify that I didn’t mean no suppression at all - for this last cycle/MDL flare protocol the MDL was what was keeping me from ovulating . I just meant as far as a natural start not taking anything/doing anything until starting stims. Also, unless a true miracle occurs, I’m planning on cycling again in November too. RE says I actually could start again with next week’s period, but DH has to be out of town for work in a couple of weeks so that won’t work. So see you on November IVF as well!
@emmasemm Your spreadsheet is seriously the bomb. Thank you so much for keeping up with that, it helps to see easily where everyone is!
AFM did my second beta draw this morning. A lot nervous but trying to keep calm. I keep thinking "once i get to ______ I'll feel better" but i really am hoping that once I get those numbers, as long as theyre where they need to be maybe I can relax a little. Infertility makes it really hard to do that though, tbh.
Me & DH: 28 | TTC since May 2016 | DH: Morphology 0% | 2 IUI's with Clomid - BFN | IVF ICSI Sept. 2017
Ever since my transfer, I have not been able to keep my eyes open in the evening, falling asleep on the couch each night. Did anyone else experience this? I know drowsiness can be a side effect of progesterone, so am wondering if that is causing it? I'm not complaining as I love sleep, but it's sure killing my productivity! haha

@latvaughanash I was/am the same way, I was useless after 3 pm because I was fighting the fatigue and had no energy to do anything once I got home! I just stopped the PIO last night so I'm curious to see how that changes my fatigue but I think a lot of mine was to do with that!

@loverin Keep us updated if it changes! Between that and how uncomfortable I am from the bloating, I feel like a hot mess lately.

latvaughanash take it easy while your lil bumpkin is snuggling in there!!!
@adirat wow 5 blasts that fantastic - excited for your results, hoping some good golden normies are in the batch
artemis618 we certianly now its quality over quantity BUT I think this time you're getting both
@rainbows2018 congrats on your normie!! I know its so hard to make the decisions of what to do next! Its great that you even have coverage to play a role in it! FET here you come best of luck!! 10/24 is right on around the corner eeekkkkkk!!!
emmasemm I really disliked seeing your update but I know this next protocol will be able to bring you a better outcome. I hate that we have to feel like lil test animals to first see whats right. Its almost because your so good at keeping track of everything and advocating for yourself that you're given this extra unfortunate task. I'll be with you every step of the way!!
AFM: I'm nervous everyday no matter my distractions!! If my boobs dont feel sore I panic - I hate it!!! I'm waiting to here bac from my RE to see if he will see me this week coming up instead of next monday....at least its only 10 days away and not 2 weeks...its still taking forever!!!

Tw second beta 127! Tw Again I had to hound people for results cause my lab is so slow, even my doctor was irritated by it. Thankfully he called me back third morning or I would’ve had to wait all weekend for the results eek.
This is is probably a silly question but why is there such variation in beta numbers between women at the same time of cycle? Minus twins and things like that I mean.
Me & DH: 28 | TTC since May 2016 | DH: Morphology 0% | 2 IUI's with Clomid - BFN | IVF ICSI Sept. 2017
That's great @loverin ! I think the variation has to do with how quickly the embryo attaches, plus normal variation in from body to body in making hormones.
@loverin glad things are looking good!!! I'm a ball of nerves everyday! @adirat gave u great advice already!! Remember my first beta was on the lower side I think our embabies took a minute finding just the right spot I believe is part of it too! Hoping we have continued success!!

Hi Ladies, I really miss you. I'm so sorry I went off the grid for so long, I kept trying to come back and I would read 1 sentence of one of your kind thoughts and updates and just completely lose it. Since my Beta I completely threw myself into work and then had plans this weekend to go back home, so I tried to keep so busy to prevent myself from just outwardly showing how heartbroken I am. Honestly, I'm not doing okay. I'm one of those super bubbly, happy people, and when I'm really hurt I go to the extreme of that. That's how I've been since Tuesday. Just this over the top high energy, doing everything in my power to block this reality and heartache. This weekend was really hard. I went to my grandmothers house where me and my cousins spent the summers growing up. My younger cousin is now the first to get pregnant and I kept thinking how she's going to have her child, my grandmother's first great grandchild, in that house, and I'm not. I love her and I'm happy for her but its just all tearing me apart.
I do want you all to know that now that I can finally bring myself to read your words, and be alone for a bit with my thoughts, that you all mean so much to me. I'm so happy to hear that some of you have had success this month and those that haven't, every night you're in my prayers.
@emmanemm I'm so sorry to hear you're in the same boat as me. You're such an amazing person and have been a rock to me (and to all of us) this whole process. I'm happy to hear you're going to be doing IVF again in November. I think this was my last cycle, but I will follow along and be praying for you!
@loverin I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to hear if you are going to have twins or a singleton. Keep me posted!
@cmiller73 I'm heartbroken to hear your news as well. I'm not sure what I can say to make things any easier but hoping for all the best for you. I'm here for you. I hope you and DH have a relaxing vacation, you deserve to de-stress and find some fun!
@sunnyrain2 and @BusinessWife I can't remember, are you doing October transfers or November? I'm excited to follow your next journey.
@rainbows2018 Congratulations on your perfect little embryo! When are you doing your FET?
@adirat 5 blasts are so amazing. When do you get your results back? The wait must be so hard!
@artemis618 and @latvaughanash thinking of you both this week!! only a few days to go until your PSG and Beta results!
@DecemberDoll27 thinking of you lady! DM me if you ever want to talk!
@jaygrand So happy for you lady! Those are big numbers! Sounds like you might have 2x the fun!
@Hopeful_mom Lady!!! How is your little bump doing? I'm sure filled with just as much sunshine as you.
you all XO

Hey all! Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I'm just waiting for AF to completely leave and then meeting with RE for follow up to discuss protocol changes ready to start in November again
@loverin congrats on the doubling beta! Will they do another or move you straight to US?
@hopeful_mom hope they can squeeze you in for US already on Friday! Keeping everything crossed for you!
@artemis618 whilst we'll be super happy to have you join us in a November I really hope you don't need to! Do you think you'll get your PGS results this week already?
@cxsimo08 I'm glad you took some time for yourself now.And I totally know what you mean. I'm also very high energy and when I'm sad or angry it's like I'm turbo charged. Though at some point I do "come down" pretty hard if I'm not careful. DH helps a lot to make my landings safer - before he was around this sometimes led to some pretty wild times... If you want to talk more including different options you know where I am. DH and I talked over the weekend what we will do for Xmas as both parents homes will be full of small children and pregnant bumps as our siblings are all obviously super fertile... I want to wait and see how I feel after our November cycle, but then flights will be quite expensive... let's see... But I can understand the mix of emotions about your cousin. My sister is 9 years younger, has a 8mo and is dropping hints that she's KU again...
@decemberdoll27 miss you and please keep us updated on your FET
@cmiller73 hope you're having a good vacation, no matter what

@cxsimo08 My heart hurts for you in your pain right now. My grandma and aunt are coming into town this week and I have been dreading it for over a month because my aunt's daughter (my cousin) is pregnant. She is the "favorite" grandkid and while I love her and am happy for her, I was terrified of having to nod my head and smile while they go on about her pregnancy when I didn't know where I'd be right now. It is so hard to be around family when you are hurting like that but also, so hard to be alone. I'm sorry my friend. Do things that make you feel better in this time. And remember it's ok to have your moments and to be hurt and angry and sad.
@emmasemm Sorry about your sister, that's got to be hard! We too were waiting on flights, thankfully we don't have a lot of little ones running around yet in my family but the questions and assumptions since we've been married 5 1/2 years at this point get to be a bit much. I can't wait to watch how this next cycle goes for you, fingers crossed that all your planning and info from here result in a successful cycle in November! You've been such an inspiration in this journey, I hope you know that!
@Hopeful_mom I know it's hard but try not to be anxious either way with your ultrasound! Either way it's either this week or next week so it's coming up soon Excited for you!
@latvaughanash so close to beta! Have you tested at all?
@DecemberDoll27 Thinking about you, hope that you are doing ok.
AFM anything pregnancy related I'll do in a spoiler box so for anyone who it is a TW for can scroll right past it:
My doctor called me back over the weekend with my beta results from Friday so thankfully I already had some peace of mind with my 127 beta count but the nurse called me again today to relay the info and told me I am "definitely pregnant" so I'll take that No more beta for me, I guess they only do 2. My 6 week ultrasound is 2 weeks from today, 10/23!
Also, as for fatigue from the PIO/Progesterone, an update for you @latvaughanash : I've been off of it 4 days now and while I can tell a definite difference in HOW fatigued I am, I am still pretty tired all day. The progesterone definitely added to it but even off of it I feel completely zapped of all energy. I will say it is better off of it though!
Me & DH: 28 | TTC since May 2016 | DH: Morphology 0% | 2 IUI's with Clomid - BFN | IVF ICSI Sept. 2017
@cxsimo08 No matter how much time you need, you can always come here to vent to us!!
@loverin I'm glad you're a little less fatigued, even if not all the way back to normal.
I haven't tested and honestly didn't even think about it until yesterday, but surprisingly I'm not even tempted.
Part of that might honestly be that I can't help but expect the results to be negative. I know that's ridiculous, I know having or not having symptoms means nothing as to the results, but I'm just not letting myself get my hopes up. I was super tired like you but that, breast pain, and bloating are all mostly gone now so I feel pretty normal aside from some light infrequent cramping. We will see what the results say on Wednesday. I'm definitely not thinking negative thoughts, just trying to be open to it going either way to help myself get through!
I'll keep everyone updated on Wednesday. I think I'll ask them to wait until after 4:00 to call that way I'm not at work when I get the results, positive or negative it'll allow me to freely express whatever I'm feeling!

@cxsimo08 Its good to hear from you! I understand your hurt and pain. I was like that after my loss, I would read the comments but it wasn't until the tears stopped that I could respond. Please know we are here for you in however you need us to be! I know you still need to wrap your ahead around whats next and in time you will and we'll be here for you every step of the way! Its never easy with family when others miracles happen before ours. hang in there!
latvaughanash I think your plan sound perfect!! The TWW is tough stuff for sure where some days you're like i'm a 100% pregnant and other days you're just not sure. I"m very hopeful for your beta on wed!
@emmasemm Isn't it crazy how the same family can have such different issues!! Many females in my family down to my grandma were getting KU at 39/40 with no problem...so imagine my shock at 37/38 that I would have an issues at all...it sux! And scary too!!! I'm excited for this next cycle and the golden eggs that will be coming your way!!
@loverin yay for good betas!! And excited for your US...its better for me to concentrate on others then myself Im nervous to go off of any meds right now but I gotta say my bum is killing me today!!!

Oh my goodness - I had no cell service for the better part of the weekend (which was kind of nice, in a way), so just catching up.
@cxsimo08 I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. I know I haven’t felt like myself since i got married last year, then we were trying, then *TW* pregnant, then not pregnant, then trying to keep the long game in mind while working on getting pregnant again...*end TW*. The thing that keeps me going is that as awful as this feels right now, I know it can’t last forever. One way or another, we will stop going through this process - for us it’s whether we have our own kids, or use donor eggs, or adopt, or live child-free - but biology makes (and limited funds make) sure our lives won’t keep looking like this awful process. I’m sorry if that’s not helpful, but take the time you need, feel all the feelings, and know you will get through this!
AFM, I again missed my RE’s text, then phone call this morning (darn actually having work my first day back in the office after vacation). This news he did not actually deliver via text for once, but rather asked when I could talk. @emmasemm I may indeed have spoken too soon, as a small miracle did occur and we got a shocking FOUR (4) normals (plus a mosaic) from this cycle. Seriously, this is the best early birthday present ever (I’m 40 tomorrow). Plus the one we have on ice at the other place, and the few frozen eggs I have from five years ago, DH and I have decided to go ahead with a transfer this month/cycle. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, but it feels like a tough call because even with 66% odds for each - we feel like we’ve had terrible luck (up to this point) with all this stuff (and one of my gfs lost a PGS normal last summer), and given my age it’s not likely that I’ll have a chance to make more (normal) embryos later. I was really not prepared for this but I’m excited (and nervous).

Hi everyone, I know I have not posted on this board before, I am been lurking as many people I have been following and supported are on this board, and I have been truly inspired by everyone's positivity, support and perseverance. Just a quick background, I had my fourth FET on 10/2 (my first three in January, February and May this year all resulted in BFNs). My beta is scheduled on 10/12.
A few things struck me that I wanted to respond to:
@jaygrand As I said in my PM to you, your journey to your BFP has really helped me stay positive and hopeful this FET cycle.
@emmasemim- your positivity is absolutely amazing (as is your spreadsheet capabilities and decision tree, love that idea). I wanted to chime in about the holiday difficult decisions. My sister-in-law (DH's sister), also went through IVF, but started trying after we did and is due in January. While this gives me a lot of hope that it can and will work for me, as well as everyone on this board, I am also fearful of Christmas as his family gives us a ridiculous amount of gifts. Every year it is clothing, household items etc for all, but this year I know will be mostly baby gifs for her and she will be due in just 4 weeks. They will also be focused on the fact that we aren't pregnant yet and I'm sure it'll come up several times, and when we see his extended family in XMAS eve, we always get asked when and if we are pregnant at least a dozen times (even though they all know we are going through fertility treatments, there's a lot of drinking involved on their parts). So I get the indecision, and my feeling is that this year we need to protect and focus on ourselves. This journey is difficult enough. However, it is also hard to let our family's down and have to avoid or change plans because of IF. I will be cheering hard for you in November, to have the positive result you are searching for, to make the decision so much easier and holidays so much more joyful. I am praying that this current cycle is positive, otherwise I have to do another round of IVF, freeze all and FET in the New year, so will have to make a very difficult decision. Best of Luck!
@latvaughanash. I am in a similar position as you, and wanted to let you know that I am sharing all the difficult, complicated thoughts of this TWW with you. As this is my fourth FET, I know that I do better not testing every day as because I have had so many negatives in the past, every BFN on a HPT, just reminds me of previous cycles and the doubt starts to creep in. My intention was to not test during this TWW, but I did on 2dp, 3dp and 4dp (as a friend really encouraged me to and I convinced myself I'd rather know). I tested thinking I would continue to test every day until beta, but at 4dp knew I needed to stop. I agree with you, we cannot change the outcome, so why not enjoy 10 days of optimism and hope than the possibility of 10 days of disappointment and sadness. I also try to externally convince myself that it is too early, even when I get to 8-9 days, however internally know the chances are slim and it makes beta day and doing the PIO injections every night that much more dreaded and difficult. Best of luck and fingers crossed for your beta on Wed, hopefully this week will bring us both the results we are so desperately hoping for.
Congrats to everyone else on this board who has BFPs and my thoughts are with all this whose cycles did not turn out the way they were hoping. This is such a tough journey, we are all strong warriors, I'm determined to keep fighting this battle and am proud to have such amazing women fighting alongside me!
bethann1022! I can't believe you tested and were able to stop, that is some really good self control! I haven't been tempted yet but I know this week is when it'll get harder when technically an at-home test would show a more reliable result. You are finding out for yourself this week as well?

@artemis618 I'm dancing and cheering for you!!!! This is the BEST NEWS EVER!!!! How amazing!!! Did you find out the genders? Did they tell you the grades of the normies? I also ask for the full report as we all know grades don't mean everything!!! i think it's great you're moving on to a transfer!! Take it from me I know how hard I is to make that decision!! The head guy at the clinic asked me if I was trying to get a plaque on the wall with all the ER and cycles I have gone through!! This goes to show you that the right protocol does pay off!!!! Makes me want to try all over again!!! Maybe for me it was just a bad month that my body hated the microdose lupron. I also just want to throw out there that you are still young enough to make normies its closer to 42 that they say the stats start o go down drastically!! I would have all the a faith in the world!!! how do they know you have a mosaic??? And your friends loss of a normie is frieghtening for sure....were they able to find a reason?? totally made my night, I'm so happy for you!!!
@bethann1022 hey lady so excited for ur beta on Thursday!! Only good things to come!!

Thanks so much, @Hopeful_mom! My RE did send me the report (via text, of course ) - and we have three more girls (than the one from prior cycle) and one boy. I’ve never really paid attention to grades, but the girls are 4AAish (two of them have a minus in there and the boy is 3BB. No clue about the grade of the one from earlier (but I think my old RE indicated “not awesome”). DH doesn’t want the know the genders but I can never help myself, it seems. The mosaic (“Mosaic segmental loss on chr 10”) is a 4AA- boy. So hopefully some sticky ones in there.
Of course I wish that I had switched REs/labs earlier, but this one did have the benefit of the results of my previous cycles.
I was thinking that if I waited to try to make more embryos after having a first kid (so probably closer to 42), that might not go so well - so feels kind of like making them now or never.
I’m not aware that my friend found a reason - but she did deliver a healthy baby boy this past July after that *TW* loss and has two more left for their second. She’s actually the one who referred me to this RE’s office (she froze eggs with another RE there when she was 39 and also got 4 PGS normals from that cycle).
When do you get an ultrasound? The only (pregnancy) one I’ve ever had wasn’t till 8 weeks.

@artemis618 such great reports!! Sounds like you have some strong normies on your hands and both genders that's wonderful!! So you now have 5 ready to go and an extra boy as back up....if I read your update correctly I'm still fascinated by the mosaic results. I've always read about it but didn't realize it could actually come bac as a test result! My slogan has been "the now or never" this whole time as well, I so understand it. This cycle was magical and I think your family is in this batch, so exciting!!
i love hearing happy endings, very happy to hear your friend had success!! You're next
I believe first US are usually scheduled around 6wks. Technically my US is 10/16 which I should be 6w4days...I was trying to see if he would take me sooner but next Monday might be the day...

@bethann1022 Welcome! Honestly, if I had tested 2 days before my beta I don't know that I would have had a positive. My beta was only at 56 so if that doubled from 48 hours before then it may or may not have shown up on a test (at least certain ones). I almost tested 4 days before and self-knowledge in knowing myself and these ladies talked me out of it and I'm so glad. Like you said, it was better for me to have hope and positivity through those days than to be worried. 2 more days until beta, you and @latvaughanash are in my thoughts as I know these last few days are some of the hardest to wait!
@artemis74 4 is incredible! What does it mean to have a mosaic one? So excited for your numbers!

I'm currently trying to keep myself calm as I can't help but feel like there is no chance tomorrow will be positive, which as usual is silly and I need to just stop thinking about it since it is what it is. I am breaking out soooo bad all over my face and neck, as well as semi-sore breasts, but just not enough to say I feel like it worked. I know you all know what it's like, and also know how crazy it is.
Going to dinner and a movie with a friend tonight so that'll help me get through to my 7:00 am blood draw!

"When peace, like

Simply stated mosaicism is when an embryo, or person, is composed of two or more genetically different cell types. Depending on the chromosome involved, and the proportion of abnormal cells, mosaicism could lead to embryos that cannot implant, that miscarry or that result in pregnancies with abnormalities (mosaicism confined to the placenta has been associated with abnormal growth of the fetus).”
So I think basically the part tested that yields the abnormal result/has the abnormal cells becomes the placenta and the membranes and the part that becomes the baby could be just fine. Someone please do a better job of explaining this than I just did!
Ooh, @adirat, maybe our xfers will be close! I just had my CD3 u/s and blood draw this AM and pending the blood results will start Estrace tonight. If things continue to look good over the next few weeks, my first ever transfer will be 11/2.
Hang in there @latvaughanash! You’re not out till you’re out, and I’m optimistic for you!

@loverin@artemis618 Right, so mosaicism means that some cells are normal and some aren't. From a mosaic embryo, it's possible that the embryo will "correct" itself and be normal; it's also possible that the embryo will miscarry or will produce a child with a chromosomal problem, depending on the issue (for instance a person can be mosaic Downs syndrome, with some normal and some Downs cells; they typically present as learning disabled. Also I know some X and Y chromosome mosaicisms are reported in the literature). So for PGS, it means that one of the tested cells was normal, and one had the problem. Only the newer NGS testing can detect this (traditional PGS only takes one cell so it would be impossible to tell).
Typically, it's not recommended to implant mosaic embryos because the miscarriage rate is so high, but for people with few embryos it may be worth the risk for the chance the embryo is normal.
@loverin@artemis618@adirat good luck tomorrow excited for your calendar!!! I have to say I'm still fascinated and confused with the mosaics. Mostly because when the embryologist went through he testing I thought she used the mosaics in away that they coul be hiding as a normie or abnormal I didn't realize they could ever come back as that in an original test.
@latvaughanash enjoy your evening it's a smart way to spend your time!! Side note my face broke out terribly whether it was from the reaction or the BFP who know but wanted to share! You got this!!! @cxsimo08 it's good o hear from you, I'm telling you your journey is not over!!! For every heartbreak there is another victory! I know you will be a great mom one day!!

Re: September IVF
@loverin That's great! If you're nervous about stopping the meds, can you taper off?
@latvaughanash That's great! So glad another caught up.
I'm really hoping all of our future babies are in there
@adirat awesome news to get 5!!! Spreadsheet once again updated :-)
The more you and the others beat the odds the more peace I feel that we will have our time.
Hope nobody else has to come join me in Nov IVF but if you do I'm setting the spreadsheet up already ;-)
@cxsimo08 would love if you find a way to join us though

@emmasemm Just wanted to clarify that I didn’t mean no suppression at all - for this last cycle/MDL flare protocol the MDL was what was keeping me from ovulating . I just meant as far as a natural start not taking anything/doing anything until starting stims. Also, unless a true miracle occurs, I’m planning on cycling again in November too. RE says I actually could start again with next week’s period, but DH has to be out of town for work in a couple of weeks so that won’t work. So see you on November IVF as well!
@rainbows2018 Congrats on your normal!

@adirat 5, what an awesome number! Can't wait to hear your results. Let the countdown begin!
@cmiller73 thinking of you, how'd your beta go?
@emmasemm Your spreadsheet is seriously the bomb. Thank you so much for keeping up with that, it helps to see easily where everyone is!
AFM did my second beta draw this morning. A lot nervous but trying to keep calm. I keep thinking "once i get to ______ I'll feel better" but i really am hoping that once I get those numbers, as long as theyre where they need to be maybe I can relax a little. Infertility makes it really hard to do that though, tbh.

latvaughanash take it easy while your lil bumpkin is snuggling in there!!!

This is is probably a silly question but why is there such variation in beta numbers between women at the same time of cycle? Minus twins and things like that I mean.

I'm sure filled with just as much sunshine as you.
you all XO
Diagnosis: Unexplained
2 IVFs, 8 IUIs (2 Clomid, 6 Injectables)
I'm just waiting for AF to completely leave and then meeting with RE for follow up to discuss protocol changes ready to start in November again
@loverin congrats on the doubling beta! Will they do another or move you straight to US?
@fuzzydust fx for your US today
@hopeful_mom hope they can squeeze you in for US already on Friday! Keeping everything crossed for you!
@artemis618 whilst we'll be super happy to have you join us in a November I really hope you don't need to! Do you think you'll get your PGS results this week already?
@latvaughanash fx for your beta this week too!
@cmiller73 hope you're having a good vacation, no matter what
Spreadsheet once again updated :-)

Also, as for fatigue from the PIO/Progesterone, an update for you @latvaughanash : I've been off of it 4 days now and while I can tell a definite difference in HOW fatigued I am, I am still pretty tired all day. The progesterone definitely added to it but even off of it I feel completely zapped of all energy. I will say it is better off of it though!
Edited to fix tag + elaborate
@cxsimo08 Hugs friend. I know how dark that place can get. Take all the time you need, and whenever you need us, know that you are not alone
AFM: Just waiting for AF any day and for our PGD results in about a week and a half...
I think I'll ask them to wait until after 4:00 to call that way I'm not at work when I get the results, positive or negative it'll allow me to freely express whatever I'm feeling!

latvaughanash I think your plan sound perfect!! The TWW is tough stuff for sure where some days you're like i'm a 100% pregnant and other days you're just not sure. I"m very hopeful for your beta on wed!
@emmasemm Isn't it crazy how the same family can have such different issues!!
Yay @jaygrand and @loverin !
@adirat I hope your wait isn’t too much longer. I have to say that taking vacation pretty much during the entire PGS wait has helped this time.
@latvaughanash Fx for your beta, ER day buddy!

This is such a tough journey, we are all strong warriors, I'm determined to keep fighting this battle and am proud to have such amazing women fighting alongside me!

i think it's great you're moving on to a transfer!! Take it from me I know how hard I is to make that decision!! The head guy at the clinic asked me if I was trying to get a plaque on the wall
with all the ER and cycles I have gone through!!

Ahhh!!!!!
Diagnosis: Unexplained
2 IVFs, 8 IUIs (2 Clomid, 6 Injectables)
I'm currently trying to keep myself calm as I can't help but feel like there is no chance tomorrow will be positive, which as usual is silly and I need to just stop thinking about it since it is what it is. I am breaking out soooo bad all over my face and neck, as well as semi-sore breasts, but just not enough to say I feel like it worked. I know you all know what it's like, and also know how crazy it is.
Going to dinner and a movie with a friend tonight so that'll help me get through to my 7:00 am blood draw!

“What Is Mosaicism?
If things continue to look good over the next few weeks, my first ever transfer will be 11/2.Hang in there @latvaughanash! You’re not out till you’re out, and I’m optimistic for you!

Typically, it's not recommended to implant mosaic embryos because the miscarriage rate is so high, but for people with few embryos it may be worth the risk for the chance the embryo is normal.
