@travelingcouple Just reading your story, and the wonderful comments from your friends on this board has made me tear up in so much happiness for you. This noob is wishing you the healthiest, and most boring nine months ever
@TravelingCouple I am so happy to see this here!!! What amazing news! Wishing you the healthiest and most boring nine months possible! Congratulations!!!!
I didn't think I'd be posting here today, but here we go!
CD/DPO of first BFP? 24/10 (today)
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 3/3 (+1 NTNP)
What did your chart look like?
I didn't temp after 4 DPO. I meant to this morning but forgot.
What were you doing TGKU? BBT, CM, Sex, OPKs
How was your timing? -5, -1, +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? 5 to 6 DPO I started breaking out (early for me & AF) 7 DPO had some aversion to certain smells in clinical 9 DPO and 10 DPO fatigue (partly due to not sleeping well Saturday), heartburn, and mood swings
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I was actually on the phone when I tested, but was able to keep quiet and not say anything. I went in to town and bought baby wipes, ginger ale, and saltines and a card and told him to guess wht the gift was for. He thought it was a hangover cure package, lmao. He finally understood what I was getting at, and the card confirmed it, and he was really just in shock. He went from kind of disbelief to worrying about the outlets not being baby proof, haha. He told me he never wanted me to show him the tests because pee is gross, and then as soon as he got in the bathroom he asked me to show him. I thought that was funny.
Anything else to add? It's been a whirlwind of a time on TTGP. To be honest, it's hard to believe I won't be here anymore, and it'll be hard for me not to keep on posting. I've met some awesome, beautiful people on this board over the past 2 years, and I've been glad to see so many people graduate and move on with their journeys. I look forward to seeing more of you guys graduate. I always stalk the IF thread, because the people I've known the longest are there, and I will continue to do so and cheer you guys on.
Yay, @izza2! Super happy to see your name here. What a fantastic Monday!!! H&H 9 months to you!
Me: 35 DH: 28 TTC since June 2016 Azoospermia diagnosis (zero count) Dec 2016 AZFc chromosome microdeletion discovery March 2017 Unsuccessful TESE for DH in August 2017 October 2017 IVF with donor sperm
29R, 24M, 16F, 2d5, 4d6 (6 embryos total) Only 3 could have PGS. 2/3 normal. 5 embies frozen 12/15/17 FET #1 (1 embryo)--CP 2/7/17 FET #2 (2 embryos)--BFN Chronic endometritis diagnosis May 2018
ERA Sept 2018--borderline receptive--12 more hours of progesterone Abnormal SIS Oct 2018 Repeat hysteroscopy Nov 1. Treated recurring endometritis. 12/4/18 FET #3 (2 embryos)--BFN Our journey has come to an end.
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? I joined in February and became more active in April/May
What did your chart look like? Not much to see since I am terrible at temping consistently What were you doing TGKU? Metformin to regulate my crazy cycle, Femara is what actually made me O
How was your timing? O-3, O-2, O-1 (x2), O, O+1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? None that I recognized for what they were! In retrospect I can see that I've been pretty emotional this past week, and also have pretty much completely lost my appetite.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? Yesterday a.m . I woke up to go to the bathroom, half asleep I peed on a stick, re-capped it and set it on the floor while I finished. Looked down and saw a dark + and started yelling my husband's name. So he pops in and I'm still sitting on the toilet, pants down, and I just shoved the test in his hand and was like "Uh...I think I'm pregnant!"
Anything else to add? Like @TravelingCouple said, this feels like an alternate reality. I really just cannot believe it. I went to my RE today to do bloodwork, and will go back on Wed for more BW so they can compare my levels. She said after that appointment we will schedule my first ultrasound 2-3 weeks out, and at that appointment we should be able to see the heartbeat!
I also want to say thank you so much to everyone here that I've been blessed to get to know these past 6-7 months. I've learned so much from so many of you, and could not be any more grateful to have found this kickass community, where we can support each other, laugh together, and cry for one another. I'll be stalking all of you, especially all my IF friends with all the upcoming IVF and IUI's! I can't wait to see what these next few months will bring! I'm pretty stoked to be joining @icecubeinthedesert@travelingcouple@doxiemoxie212 on the June board...the month is still early and there is plenty of room over there for more!
Squeeeee!!! @TravelingCouple I can't tell you how badly I'm welling up over here. So beyond thrilled for you. After everything you've been through, it's just so wonderful. Huge congrats, and HH9 to you, friend!!!
