@prudence9-2- yes, both kids and adults should stay home when sick! I am not feeling much better, but will go tomorrow because I can't keep taking days off. If it's just a cold it could linger for a week, so I'll just be miserable tomorrow! At least only 3 more days! I may have had a low grade fever at some point--couldn't find thermometer, and hard to tell because my hormones also make me hot/ cold. I didn't take anything because I just don't want to risk it. If I really needed to I would, but if I can get through then I don't want to take anything unnecessary.

And YAY for 32 weeks! It's crazy! And I don't like taking off, but I'm kinda over it this school year! Sick of my same students, pregnant and need my rest, sick FROM a student, and they randomly already gave me a maternity sub...he's this weird man who just awkwardly lingers in my classroom. I totally don't need him. I don't feel like training him yet, and he kind of gets on my nerves! I don't think I'll feel much better for a few days, so may as well go tomorrow. Today my mom took me shopping for a shower dress lol...so I'm not sick, sick--just bad cold! We don't have another day we can go because we're going to Baltimore this weekend for my uncle's 50th and the following Sat. (day before shower) I need to get my haircut and highlighted. I have no energy after work for extra activities! My mom is really the greatest

She went food shopping for me last week, cooked dinner, brought me chicken noodle soup for lunch and brought dinner yesterday, always walks my pups! She's my best friend, and I hope I will be as great a mom as her!

As for the estrace, I only had to take it for the FETs. My progesterone did eventually get lower during all of my betas this pregnancy, which of course freaked me out! It was initially so high! I wondered if I needed the supplement, but if it can't hurt, of course wanted it. I messaged you my stats! Hope you're feeling better! Do they do anymore betas?

I have a pretty awesome sister too I'm very lucky!! She has to give me my PIO my OH about threw up just looking at the size of the needle! Thanks for the info I need to check it out!! Its been so long since I was pregnant i wish I could remember how i'm suppose to feel, my tummy is bothering me and i'm already freaking out

girl u have one busy calendar! I have a birthday dinner and wedding coming up just hoping I feel ok to go. I would like to think my vag is hopefully on the mend!! I can't believe how long its taking!!

@LoveDontCostAThing - I've been busy all weekend moving to out new house, so didn't get to read/post here as much (and no internet at the new place yet). My Betas went great #1 was 253, #2 was 528, so they're going straight into u/s on Oct 9, which is less then a week ahead!

Back from my lining check. Got the okay! Transfer next Wed, PIO starting Friday and neupogen starting on transfer day. With weekly blood tests to make sure the counts are not too high!

my clinic usually let me wait for 14 days after transfer to do the beta. But this time they will let me check after 12 days!

Any ideas for a reason I’ll be “sick” on Wed? This past year I had so many procedures that I took sick day for. So for my transfers I usually have a regular sickness. For my first transfer I had a migraine. And for the second one stomach virus.

Any idea what I could have now?

@Prudence9-2 - I use the phrase "I'm out for a medical procedure that requires bed-rest for the rest of the day afterwards". Which is pretty honest, and nobody should be able to deny you a sick day if you need a medical procedure for health reasons.

@FuzzyDust yeah I’m doing it for all other procedures... for transfer I like making up something. Not sure why. Maybe because in the last 2 years I had so many procedures? (Not all IF related)

I did my own PIO! I threw on my numbing patch and after 20-30 min. of numbing, stabbed away! glad you're feeling a little better down there. I sent you a long message with all of my "stats"...lol. can't wait to share shower photos with you ladies!

@prudence9-2 -you ladies are keeping me busy with transfers, TWW, and betas. I love it! Can you tell work you have a dental procedure that requires sedation? lol or colds/ fevers are going around my area...maybe you have a bad cold with slight fever and don't want to infect anyone?

@LoveDontCostAThing because I had so many procedures in the last 2 years (not only IF related) I don’t want to say another procedure. as for flu/cold that’s more than a day thing. So I need something else. I’m thinking to say I started a new med (referring to neupogen) and I’m not feeling well.

Oh and as for PIO @LoveDontCostAThing what is the numbing patch called? I don’t think I can use it though. As I am planning to do the shot in the morning. So no time to wait... how long did you do PIO?

First PIO shot done. At first looking at the needle it looked so thick (Especially after using the tiny Lupron needle for the last 4 weeks). It was easy though. They start me with 0.5 ml for 2 days then 1 ml for 3 days. And from transfer day, I’ll be at 1.5 ml.

I am feeling better then I was for sure!! Yesterday was my first day out with too much running around and not enough vaseline to go around so I still have a bit to go...can not believe how long its taking to heal!!

AFM: I'm nervous everyday no matter my distractions!! If my boobs dont feel sore I panic - I hate it!!! I'm waiting to here bac from my RE to see if he will see me this week coming up instead of next monday....at least its only 10 days away and not 2 weeks...its still taking forever!!!

@Hopeful_mom yeah, what can I tell you, I’m a PIO pro

it’s funny, when I did IUI back in 2013-14 I was so afraid of needles that even the trigger with the .5 inch needle I couldn’t do by myself. And now I can do it all. I was so afraid of needles. I still can’t look when they take my blood though...

@prudence9-2 -I only did PIO my first transfer cycle because then I got out of it due to the reaction. I did it probably for a couple of weeks (until I found out I wasn't pregnant, and then it was even more annoying having endured that annoying pain in the ass...literally...lol) The numbing patch is called Synera. Actually, I have a few boxes left that expire in December. If you or @hopeful_mom want them, please let me know and I will ship them to you! Hate for them to go to waste because they are SUPER helpful. I even used them for blood draws...literally felt nothing...phenomenal. Did you figure out an illness for work yet? How many days do you need off? The flu can be more than one day for sure. The new med is a good idea too...and it's true.

@hopeful_mom -great that you are feeling better! why are you waiting to see the doctor? for the vag or ultrasound? I felt the same way as you--worrying about every lack of symptom--like boobs hurting and then not. I googled so much, and most people seemed to say that the symptoms fluctuate and to be happy on the days when you feel good--LOL that's easier said than done! It is really hard...hang in there! I lived for the ultrasounds first trimester for constant reassurance.

AFM, we had our hospital tour on Saturday! It's all so surreal...like it feels like it's getting more serious (it is lol), but still feels surreal. The hospital is beautiful, and the baby stays with you in your room the entire time (except for certain things, like circumcision)! Seems like DH is getting more excited, as the nursery is starting to be set up and he said the tour made it pretty real. The other thing that has been helping him connect is feeling the baby move. It can be hard for others to feel because he may kick, then stop for awhile, so the first few times we tried, he couldn't feel it, and I think he felt a little like whatever...but THEN the first time he really felt big movements he was shocked and brought it up a few times on other days, which was cute. I also don't see him a lot during the week, but we spent the weekend together, so he felt a couple of times and just called me in the other room to sit down so he could feel "his baby" he said

. I am happy that he is starting to connect with the baby. I think it can be hard for the father because it's our body going through it all and us feeling everything. And my shower is in one week...ahh!!!

@LoveDontCostAThing that’s so sweet of you! But to be honest, I’m so scared of introducing new things. I know this is ok for pregnancy. But I know that PIO without numbing is what worked for me before so I feel like I have to keep it that way.

Im suffering from water in my ears now. Because I suffer from allergies. And few weeks ago it got pretty bad. So I’m even afraid to take allergy meds once I start neupogen. But took some today and will take for the next few days. Even did neti pot to try and help it. And now I think I got more water stuck. Lol.

Hospital tour sounds so exciting! That’s great that your husband was able to feel some kicks and is getting more excited. I do agree that since we live it every day we get attached so much sooner.

as for work, I think I’m gonna say that I’m feeling bad because of a new med I started taking few days ago. (Even though my first day would be on Wed

)

i dont need to take take more than one day. My RE wants me to be up right after transfer. I usually stay there for another 1-2 minutes and then get up to pee. They want me to walk around as they say it helps with circulation. My transfer is at 2pm. So I’ll take it easy before and after. Previous two times I went to work the following day. In a way, I’m thinking why not stay one more day at home. But then, it did work the other two times. So I’m not sure. I’ll see how I feel.

I just need the special ingredient to make it stay there to full term. And I hope neupogen is that special ingredient. FX!!!

AFM: Since I'm still having issues my RE decided to see me. Getting more cream for my vag yay me!!!

So when he got into the room I already put my name in the machine and he's like we're not doing a scan today....and I was like maybe we could get a sneak peak, make sure everything in the right spot!! So on the DL he did a scan

Pnut thank g-d is in the right spot poo poo!!! Saw a quick flicker for the heartbeat too!

U really could barely see anything. And the pic he gave me looks blank.
Talk about a Lil chocolate chip!!! Thrilled next week is the appt to do this and I will get another peak and the actual due date with all
that good stuff. Even though my APP tells me June 6th is DDay

@LoveDontCostAThing I'm exhausted just reading your update!! It has to be feeling real right about now

I love how excited and warm DH is being, I'm sure its been tough on him mentally through the years too - this is so exciting for the both of you!! My OH is just odd when it comes to this. He was rubbing my head and then said congratulations with the dr left. Its like I'm never gonna know his reactions prior...I bet he was happy with seeing the one lil nugget in there! Excited to go back on monday and then freak out for another 2 weeks

So I’ve been having sore throat all day. Might be from the wildfires in Napa or I’m gettibg sick!
my ride for the procedure tomorrow is sick with sore throat and high fever. So I just ordered a licensed medical ride for tomorrow’s procedure. I guess I could have asked another friend. But I really don’t want too many ppl to know about the day and keep asking me if I got tested already etc.

anyway, I feel a little feverish now. Not sure if that’s because I’m thinking that I might be sick or I am actually sick

it’s transfer day. Just did my first neupogen injection. As I was slowly injecting it I was thinking how I hope I’m not poisoning myself with it. I hope this was the missing ingredient from my other two FETs.

AFM: The nausea is certainly picking up dear lord!!

Today was off to a bumpy start as OH had an emergency to tend too so that meant I was going solo. It is what it is. Pnut looked great and measured 6wks 4days. Technically a day behind which I'm not worried about! Heart beat was great at 134!!

Good day very happy!!! Now onto the next! US I go back Oct 27th
