@hopeful_mom yes, I'm short too. So my weight is proportional with my height. But yes, I also heard that on both ends, low and high BMI, it is tougher to get pregnant. 

Do you take anything for estrogen? They never checked my blood before a transfer. I wonder why!

so right now you're looking at a Sat or maybe Sunday transfer?

i know what you mean about not having your dr do the transfer. In my clinic it's not always your dr as well. And I've been in procedures that were done by many of them. But when at the last transfer it was someone I've never seen before I was also uncomfortable. For this transfer, there is a chance it will be my dr. So FX. 

And I hope it will be your dr as well. Or the one that did your fresh transfer!

Got my meds today. And of course they sent the wrong Lupron... they sent the trigger and not the 2-week kit. Luckily it's the same med with just 2 needles instead of 28... so they'll send me more needles.

@prudence9-2 -I can't believe you and @hopeful_mom pay out of pocket.  I could never afford to pay all of it.  I know I was so lucky for my insurance coverage, and I don't know how you two afford it, but thankfully you can.  what is the lupron for?  I took it to aid implantation a couple of days after transfer, but what is it for prior to transfer?  so many different doctors with different protocols...makes ya wonder lol.  also, interesting they don't check your estradiol before transfer?  you are tiny--100 pounds!  your bump will show early!  Mine did too, but not because I am 100 pounds! I think it's because I was already bloated from the hormones, constipation, and I had mild OHSS.  And ohh, that constipation never went away...I take colace daily twice per day, and it's not always helpful.  It's been bad lately...I eat prunes...ew.  I did have some issues prior to being pregnant though, so it is probably a double whammy--sorry for TMI...lol.  Nothing is really TMI on here!!!

@hopeful_mom -thanks!  I have gotten bigger since the picture I sent you!  Two weeks ago it seemed like I got bigger over night!  It's funny because that was the week of meetings at my school and the one teacher said it looked like I popped more over the week.  I told her I agreed and had actually sent my mom a picture the night before saying that I grew over night!  hope your appointment goes well, and we are on track for a friday transfer!  did you start the PIO yet?  how are you feeling about it getting so close?

 @LoveDontCostAThing my company does have IVF insurance. But there is a lifetime max. And the lifetime max doesn't even cover 1 IVF cycle. So I used it for my last 3 IUIs and I get some meds with it. And was able to squeeze in FET. don't think I have any money left on it. (I'll find out on Thurs!)

Once i manage to get pregnant and carry to full cycle I will send a letter to the hr dept of my company and will try to demonstrate how useless this lifetime max is. I think the system of having x amount of cycles is better. So maybe they will tweak the plan and it would help some other women in the future. 

Lupron is to prevent ovulation or any ovarian activity. So I start taking it on Monday. While I'm still on BCP pills. Then stop BCP pills 6 days later and 5 days after that is my baseline. So these 11 days of just Lupron are the worst for headaches. Once you add estrogen to the mix, the headaches get better. 

Never heard it helps implantation!! I actually will stop Lupron once I start PIO. Six days before transfer.

@LoveDontCostAThing sorry about the constipation I actually had it right away too!  I hear nothing yu do even diet helps, so glad you're taking something!  I was always nervous about having to push, TMI I know   ut since we were on the topic!  This is costing me a fortune, it sux!  OH Thinks i'm nuts and we just shouldve adopted...nice right!  Lets hope I'm right and can actually get my miracles out of this.  Ihate when he talks stupidly!  I is my million dollar baby for sure....why it sux when I'm outta work and have to take these crazy jobs where I am over worked....working right now, yay me, not!!  But it is what it is.  I applaud prudence9-2 for even caring about other woman and wanting to help them!  I wish we could figure out a way that everyone should be entitled to it.  I'm a freelancer and have to pay for my own insurance so right there I can't get IVF insurance.  I pay you should know about 1k a month for my great insurance and I can't get IVF coverage as self employed folks don't have that option in NY anyway.  Its only through companies if they feel like being nice and have it as part of their benefit...insane right!  But viagra is covered.  I just saw a parody about what i just wrote I have to find it.  Here I thought I was the only one to feel that way...I mean I know a man erection is important, no complaints here  but come on....ok my rant over for now!
You'll have to send us an updated bump soon!  Its great, sorry you're uncomforatbale BUT at least you know ur lil man is getting stronger and bigger ready for his arrival!!

I wonder if I'm suppose to be asking my RE now about lupron after the fact...I'm just scared aout the while thing as you want everything to go smoothly!

As for my bmi, I did mention it to my RE asking if my weight was an issue but she laughed saying NO, many people get pregnant with some extra weight.  I should ask her again since I gained so much weight through this process   I'm a broken record on this subject yet prudence9-2 is a pnut....try another 7 cycles of IVF you'll have an ass like mine...add a lil ice cream and chips too for good measure 

No PIO yet will know tomorrow...I can't believe I have to go in and no sleep again...its hilarious.  My lil pnut wants to make sure I will get used to know sleep for when they come.  I notice I keep talking in plural like I'm having more then one...i'm funny!

@hopeful_mom yeah I def gained weight while doing IVF. I can't even imagine how you did it!!!! And I think that the fact that you did it one after the other after the other didn't let the body a chance to go back to normal.

 Those hormones are horrible! But yes, women with higher and lower bmi get pregnant and carry to full term every day! So I wouldn't worry about it. And just try to eat healthy (with a lil ice cream, of course!) and worry about the extra weight after you give birth!

For me the worst med when it comes to bloating and weight gain is Lupron. Last month when I was on it, I happened to wear a tighter jeans one day to work and I was so bloated that I actually couldn't breath!!! As soon as I got on the bus I unbuttoned the damn jeans. Needless to say, I will not be wearing that pair again. Haha

and @LoveDontCostAThing, I agree with @Hopeful_mom... would love to see another bump photo.

Are you ready for this sh@t!!  My E2 is not at 200 and has dropped from 172 to 147  ugh!!!!  WTH!!!!

Frustrated doesn't even begin my feelings right now!!  So they're changing my protocol to still taking 3mg of estrace but 1 vaginally at night UGH seriously, i'm so not a fan of that, but whatever!  This now pushes me till at least next week as I first go back wed for monitoring!  I'm so angry!  My lining is fine but who knows if its going to happen this month or not....

I hate this roller coaster ride, I really was expecting to get the go ahead!

@Hopeful_mom actually, thinking about it,  they are not letting me ovulate. So I don't think estrogen matters in my case. 

Hope your estrogen be above 200 on Wed!!!

i dont think I'm ovulating either thats what the estrace I think helps suppress.  I'm just nervous that i will be missing my receptive moment...remember this is the one area I'm not familiar with and we know i dont want to take any chances.

@Hopeful_mom when it comes to FET I think doctors don't take chances too. And if they are not sure it's ideal they cancel. 

Not saying that would be the case with you! I think cancellation is usually when lining is thin. Which is not your problem.  So I think you should be fine. But maybe few days after you thought it would be.

@prudence9-2 and @hopeful_mom -I will send you another bump pic soon!  Right now I am braless and in pajamas, so I'll wait until I am a little more decent lol though, I don't care either way really--it is what it is!  I have an OB appointment tomorrow.  I have to go in every two weeks now.  I also scheduled our hospital tour today for Oct. 7th.  Now, I need to call insurance about a breast pump...so many things.  Ugh the constipation is the worst--ongoing problem, but I'll tell you what...in searching for natural remedies, that's where I discovered prunes (I know everyone knows about them, but probably doesn't use them because they're nasty)...anyway, they are the only thing that truly helps!!!  keep that in your back pocket if you ever need to use them!  I get the dried fruit ones and eat them with craisins or yogurt covered raisins or whatever to mask the taste.  now that i've been eating them for awhile, the taste isn't nearly as bad.

@prudence9-2 -a lifetime max for insurance is so dumb...or at least if there is one, it should definitely take the average number of cycles (I heard between 3 and 4 cycles) it takes people for it to result in live birth and cover that.  my insurance has no limit.  it's part of the reason i've put up with bullshit from my school district/ job because of the insurance.  Though, I am really thinking of looking for a new job after this year, but I always waiver back & forth because I'm not sure what insurance other districts have.  I think we want two kids (DH changes his mind all the time about one or two, but I told him two for sure.)  I hope one of my frozen works in the future because then if insurance doesn't cover, I will not have to pay for all the IVF injectables.  Not sure what I'll decide.

@hopeful_mom -okay, that's bullshit that you pay 1k a month for insurance, yet it covers NOTHING.  not even any of the meds?  wtf are you paying for?  insurance makes me so mad!  for working people, it should be equitable.  what kind of freelancing do you do?  sorry about your estrogen level...did they say what could make it drop like that?  I had to take it orally and vaginally too...looks like a smurf when you wipe, but vaginally isn't that bad since it's so small...the suppositories and crinone applicators are a lot bigger!  you better not miss your receptive window after all you've been through...come on estrogen!!!!!

As for missing the receptive window, at least for the way that I'm doing it. Which includes lots of medication, nothing matters. I can continue for a while. All that is matter is that once I start PIO I'm 6 days away from transfer. 

And I think @Hopeful_mom's also count as medicated. So I think it would be ok. Might take longer that she planned. But I really don't think they will cancel. (Unless all of a sudden the lining is thin)

@Hopeful_mom read this article. It says exactly what I was trying to say. The time on estrogen is flexible. And what makes you receptive is the PIO. Which is why PIO is timed for 6 days. Whereas you can be on estrogen for x amount of days.

@LoveDontCostAThing prudence9-2Thanks for the support ladies, very appreciated!!  I think my freak out is more if I'm missing My "receptive time"  The fact that its medicated helps getting the ideal time which is the point.  We have in our heads that our body just has the one moment it can become pregnant so its hard to forget that aspect. You get this calendar and look at it by law and if you deviate from it you then halt and get nervous.  Its not like the calendar has extra boxes saying you can go 5 days later and that its ok too....I think thats why i'm so concerned over it.  Everyone gets a date and pretty much stick to it...its the ladies that got a date and then it was delayed did they still have success.  Its a tricky thing and knowing you have this one chance you don't want anything to jeopardize it. 

prudence9-2 you're article does make me feel better and from everyone responces including yours  it does seem like its from the time when the progestrone starts that its go time...but of course with the upcoming holiday I really need go time to be now!  And they are probably having me come in wed and not tuesday so it lands on mon and not sun.  is me educated guess!

I'm hoping you're right!!  I think thats why i'm overly nervous and upset about it!  Thinking that the extra few days could screw things up.  Lets hope my lining and E2 will cooperate on the next round.  I'm also upset that i'm pretty sure my RE's LAST DAY if baby doesn't come early wouldve been friday which then means someone else will have to do my transfer.  When you've been through so much its very hard to have someone that really doesn't know your struggle do a transfer.  I feel like they wont be as invested and i'll be a nervous wreck!

@LoveDontCostAThing don't get dolled up on our account, but of course take your time...but no really lets go  You're taking tours making plans this is so great - every 2 weeks you're so in the stretch...I kind of can't believe it.  
AFM insurance this year they do pay for meds...last year I had to reach my deductible of 3k first...so yes its something as the meds get pricey...thats my big bonus!  They covered IUI's and thats probably part of the reason I did so many.  To think I've spent more then a down payment on a house is insane.  Its funny cause the fact that i'm older I guess I new I wasn't going to have the big wedding that many of my friends had in their 20's but I mean now i'm going to the courthouse at this point....if I ever get there  This was really one of the man reasons we put it off as I new we would need the funds for this...and boy did we ever   Its very upsetting to say the least!!

I took the estrace vaginally with he fresh transfer so  I get the mess and giving birth to the blue smurf   I just wish they wouldve made that call a lil sooner so I would still be on track!!  The will be TMI but I dont mind the crinone, the estrace annoys me because i feel like I wasn't get the pill in fast enough before it was dissolving into a big ol mess!!  I starting using the applicator during the fresh transfer to feel like I was getting it all in.  I'm happy to report that last nights went in like a champ and it wasn't a disaster!  I'm hoping tonights will be as smooth!!!

@Hopeful_mom yes. You got it. The receptive window only goes by the PIO. For me the last cycle was longer. Because of scheduling I was on patches longer. But once it was go time it was 6 days. As for a date, I NEVER get a date. I get a week. They usually tell me that it will happen at some point in a specific week (more or less)

As for your RE hopefully she will do the transfer. Or the one that did the fresh one!! FX!!!!

but to be honest, there is nothing much to the transfer. When it comes to procedures, this is one of the simplest ones! With that said, I also hope my RE will do my transfer!!!

Oh and AFM... starting Lupron today! Damn I hate that injection.  I hope this is the last time I ever use it!!! FX!!!!

@hopeful_mom- I wouldn't worry too much about who does the transfer.  Of course you will worry, but I think that they are all invested, and prudence is right that the procedure is fairly simple.  actually, I don't think I knew until the day of who would do my transfer!  there are several doctors at my place, so I just went with it.

***TW**** My RE is in labor go figure, we knew it was bound to happen so regardless of my delays she wouldn't have been able to do my transfer on friday anyway booooooo!  Her water broke this morning and I'm laughing that I get a call at 8am from the nurses to let me know HAAAAAAA!!!  AND this one nurse has no TACT at all.  She basically says the DR forwarded the email I sent to her and am i now cancelling my FET.  um why?? Because I said I don't want a new DR doing my transfer?  Not sure why she doesn't realize I've been with this clinic so long I have had the other 2 REs at this point...they have brought on a new dr that I just dont want.  Does that sounds horrible sure, she could be the best, I just don't feel like dealing with it.  Is that the right decision who knows.  
Back to the clinic I go tomorrow...

@LoveDontCostAThing I used to have trust, my fresh transfer was done by a different RE and i love him...then he did my first ER back after MC and I ended up with no homies from the cycle so that made me sad.  OH happens to really like him so I think he would be happier with him doing my transfer at this point since my RE is out now.  Let me add that both other RE are actually religious and the jewish holiday is coming up so if I'm not ready by i think mon or tues then things might really go south!

@prudence9-2  3rd time will be the charm for you but i need my second shot to stick here  It's crazy i'm more nervous about this transfer then my fresh transfer.

I will add I was disappointed my transfer is getting pushed but work is so crazy that its probably better that it happened...I think i've said that already now! I htink I keep talking this point into myself haaaaaa!!!

you're cracking me up right now....I did check and the one that did my transfer is in Mon-Wed next week so hoping that will be it!!!  We know I rather not do it on thursday or friday so...hoping this is it.  Just trying to think its another great story to tell my lil ones!  I say multiple just in case it splits

I won't lie I was panicked this AM as I ended up not sleeping and going straight form work to monitoring,,,so I was already nervous that things might not go well.  Here's a good laugh, I then learn I was taking 1 mg vaginally and apparently I was suppose to be taking 2mg...so now i'm even more concerned.  Lucky for me that didn't matter and it is go time ladies!!  E2 was 300 and lining is 9A so lets do this!!!  First PIO shot this evening and I'm nervous,...but ready for it!!  Monday will be my transfer g-d willing!!

Enter exciting gif, emoji anything...it will not let me boooooo...but u get my joy  and my lil freak out...but I got this.  Working ung-dly hours I'm now happy I was delayed and can sleep over the weekend and hopefully feel rested and good for the transfer.  I can't believe its happening!!!

OOOOOOO AND it will be with the RE that did my fresh transfer that me pregnant so lets DO THIS!!!!

But that shouldn't effect @Hopeful_mom as she's ready for transfer on Monday! Woo hoo!!!

And that's great that the RE that got you pregnant before will do this transfer! Let's make sure it's 2 out of 2!!! But to full term this time around!!!

prudence9-2 i wanted to LOVE your post a million times yes yes yes!!!  I'm laughing about the holiday as I usually work during it but have the time off.  I love that I get to work a 1/2 day Wednesday as yes I'm the one that needs to get my ass home  Of course this project ends right before that boooooo.  I count those days as my perks of the job as sad as that may sound!

AFM... just spoke to my clinic after they spoke to my insurance. And I'm out of money. I knew I'm probably out. But made the mistake to charge Lupron on the insurance. So now I'll probably owe more than what I would have if it was OOP. 

Tonite I'm going to fly with syringes and Lupron with ice packs. Hope TSA doesn't give any trouble. I do have a letter from my doctor.
