My cycle was a little weird after birth control so I'm either 5 or 8 DPO today. Tested this morning which I knew would be negative but I just felt I had to! I have been very bloated even though I've lost weight and the dizziness is like no other! Definitely cramping as well. Similar symptoms I had with my DS but this 2 week wait is so very very long!
Yeah, I hate to be that way but I would check out the other board until you get a positive test. It's not that we don't want you in the group but it's not the best fit right now. We have all had a positive test. I hope we'll see you again in a few days telling us all all out your BFP!!
Sorry I did not read anywhere that stated you need to have a positive pregnancy test first. I've read several other posts throughout this board who also have not had positive tests yet. I utilized the boards when I was pregnant with DS in 2015 (also prior to a positive test) so I am assuming some of the rules have changed! My apologies. I will wait to post anything then until I have the BFP
@JLS12JSP we would love to have you join us in the TTGP (trying to get pregnant) board here! Read the newbie guides pinned at the top and then feel free to introduce yourself on the newbie intro thread! We have daily threads for WTO (waiting to ovulate) and the TWW (two week wait). You would be in the TWW. Looking forward to seeing you over there!

Not sure if this belongs in symptoms or questions---give me a board spanking if I posted this in the wrong place. But my skin is a mess. I have sensitive skin that is never greasy (so pale I'm clear lol) and my face looks ruddy and I am breaking out a bit like I usually do when I have PMS. Does anyone else experience this? I already have to be careful with skin products because of my sensitivity--so I use a lot of natural products like rose water spray and coconut oil (when I am dry).

I did with dd. I noticed I'm starting to break out too.
@firsttimemommy997 I am sooo tired at night but then I am up for HOURS in the middle of the night unable to sleep. It is killing me. And my food aversions make me not want coffee in the am. I am going to fall asleep at my desk during the work day.
missylaneous419 - I actually thought i wasn't preg because I was starting to break out (typically do right before my period). It has since mostly subsided. Hormonal changes can always cause breakouts - and skin, hair, everything changes when preg due to hormones...and don't expect it to stop for a while after baby either
@missylaneous419 I am breaking out like crazy! It's so bad. I usually have fairly dry skin and hardly ever have a break out.. but I remember I experienced the same thing when I was pregnant with DD
@missylaneous419 I'm breaking out too. I was all excited for the perfect glowing pregnancy skin I've read so much about, but it looks like I missed that boat!
@chocomom2@firsttimemommy997 Same! I'm super sleepy all day (nothing new there though lol) and fall asleep pretty quick at night, but I've been waking up restless during the night. Not sure if it's anxiety or just hormones.

@dinomama13@RatParade@bkrahn@kmurdock925 Thanks for the responses--I am glad I am not alone! :-) I thought I was PMSing hard because of my skin. I took a cheapo test and thought it was negative. 3 days later I took another one when my period still had not arrived and it still looked negative. Out of sheer curiosity, I broke open the plastic (it was a dollar store test) and saw the other line on the test strip was faint but was covered by the plastic casing! I am so glad I decided to break it open instead of throwing it away. I've taken several different types/brands of tests this past week lol
My first clue I might actually be pregnant was heartburn this ast weekend. I never get heartburn except when I was pregnant. Now, I'm constantly exhausted. I want to throat punch dh every time he complain about how tired he is. Other symptoms as of today, nausea, bloating, a little pelvic cramping/stretching/full feeling, sore breats, and acne.
Is anyone else feeling worried or anxious about not really having too many symptoms? I'm only 4w 6d but I feel mostly normal, I had about a week where I was ravenously hungry but that has went away. I have had a few bouts of nausea over the last week but no vomiting. I feel pretty "normal" and don't have my first appointment or US for another 3 weeks.
I feel the same (I'm 4w4d). I had a crampy/full feeling like I usually get before my period for awhile, but now that seems to be easing up a little. My nipples are sensitive and constantly standing at full attention, but other than that no symptoms. My appetite hasn't changed and I have no nausea. My first appointment is in 3 weeks too and it feels like 3 years.

knottie034e881de09abc64 there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason with symptoms. Some people have them whole hog, others not at all. This pregnancy is following the same pattern as my last- insatiable desire for vegetables, fatigue and mild car sickness. I never actually threw up or had true morning sickness.
@marcus7676 It's not going to last long. All I'm craving now is ice cold Greek cucumber salad and hummus. It will devolve into Dunkin Donuts veggie egg white flat breads and cinnamon rolls
@chocomom2@firsttimemommy997@RatParade same here with the sleep issue. I'm falling asleep for an hour or 2 at night then I wake up and go to pee and then I'm just rolling around all night trying to go back to sleep. Ugh. I'm going to try Calm App sleep stories or their deep breathing meditation tonight, I'm barely keeping it together. On day 3 of the crappy night sleep symptom.
@silvergreen.. Me! I have been having more vivid than usual since dpo 5...whenever I am able to fall asleep that is. Lmao.
@bkrahn@Dashaina It's no joke! I don't recall ever having such vivid dreams. Last night's dream included a beach on the island I grew up on, vintage cars, American football and a psychotic murderer chasing me and some other person in a huge multi-level library! I woke up with a racing heart.

Yes!! It's true they are no joke. I literally feel like my dream is happening and wake up like effff... I just wanted to sleep and felt like I was awake all night actively participating in my dreams. I always thought it would be fun to write short stories about my dreams.. Then I realize how unmotivated I am to actually do it. Hee hee.
Ditto @bkrahn for me. I am like oh yeah here we go...lmao.
@Natinat6 what's with the car sickness?! I have just started getting this too and honestly had never heard of it with pregnancy. Obviously I have heard of straight up nausea (I have gotten RIDICULOUSLY sick with both pregnancies in the past), but this car sick thing is new (and not fun) to me!
@sabby2 the first time it happened I was so confused! I only stopped nursing DD 4 months ago.. so I mean, maybe I could still be leaking?! Who knows! my body is a mystery at this point lol!
@Miz_Liz I have travel sickness, normally, in moving vehicles... But when we moved here and had to use a boat to get around for boats it went away... Then roughly 4 weeks ago I tried to kayak with my friend and thought I was going to die from how bad the motion sickness was... Just getting into the boat I thought I would hurl.. Heck standing in the very gentle ocean waves started making me feel sick. So yeah.. Idk either.. But wanted to say.. You're not alone.
On an interesting side note... With DD1 it was the first time in my life that I stopped getting motion sick at all... Then it came back a short time after her birth.
@eloquinn I haven't had it much since MS set in. It was fairly mild when I got it and would go away but it was one of the first things that clued me in something could be going on (aka being pregnant). I don't think it's a typical early sign of pregnancy but I know the hormone processes start relaxing muscle so it make sense I could get heartburn. I could have just been eating crappy too, lol!
Nausea is hitting me like a ton of bricks today. I am at my desk at work sweating like crazy, heartburn, and wanting to vomit. It's going to be a long day. TGIF for sure.
@missylaneous419 oh girl the sweating... I feel ya for sure. At first I thought it was just because of where we live (the tropics) and then I realized it was in fact my body!! I too started getting heartburn off and on yesterday or the day before. I found (for me) that this stuff called Andrews Salts (classic) works marvelously for heartburn and the queasiness. It's similiar to alkaseltzer for indigestion I think. Anyway I'm probably going to end up buying stock in them by the end of this.
So I don't really have any symptoms yet, but one thing I didn't think was pregnancy related but could be is the crazy constipation. I know it's gross to talk about, but is it just me? Not something I usually struggle with, but it's been pretty brutal for the past few days. And add in the cramps from having to go to the bathroom that freak me out because cramps are scary.
