I have been complaining about sitting down to something delicious and only being able to eat three bites because my insides are squished and then being STARVING 10 mins later!
@saralee797-2 exactly! I mean, I dunno why I'm surprised, but it legit feels like something is smashing all of my organs up into my chest. I never thought I'd be annoyed to need to/get to eat all the time.
it's hard work when you have to find foods that your body will tolerate 100 times per day haha @lund I am a little nervous if I am feeling squished by a lemon sized baby what a full size baby is going to be like... this body needs to EXPAND but like not too much lol
@lesliegolem so sorry you're still puking, but at least you can still feel good about making it to the 2nd trimester at all! My celebration is less about how awesome I may or may not feel, and more about the progression of this pregnancy and the lowered risk of miscarriage once we're out of the 1st tri.
@lund that is so true and awesome! Thanks that did pop in my head today that the miscarriage rate is so much lower now. Thats definitely worth celebrating!
@lesliegolem I was puking with you today. Had one brief episode maybe a month ago and haven’t felt nauseous much since. Today as soon as I got to school, I power puked all of my breakfast. With DD I was hospitalized at 15 weeks with HG that started pretty late. Hoping this was only a fluke and 2nd tri means the end of puking for us! (2nd tri starts in saturday for me)
Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!
@Mattel oh no sorry you got so sick too! Yea honestly with my 2nd I didn't even know I was pregnant until almost 11 weeks. I had 0 nausea. Then the 2nd trimester started and I was hospitalized as well for HG/dehydration. So I'm slightly concerned the puking is not over. But I pray for both of us this part is ending soon!! Its not fun at all and it started early with this pregnancy. Hang in there @saisongbird and @luna8433!
@BarefootContessa I feel your pain. With my first my due date was may 27. I always felt I couldn't join in on the fun. Still struggle now that we have moved to FB when the birthdays roll around and they are all partying and it's old hat by the 30th.
@Mattel oh no. Is HG in 2nd tri a thing? I had HG my last pregnancy from 6-18 weeks. I’ve been so thankful that I’ve had “normal” morning sickness this time around (puke once a day) but the past week or so my nausea has been much worse- resembling that early HG. I’m 12+2 right now and I’m puking about 4x a day now and can’t seem to get relief from anything.

I’m 14w1d today so officially in 2nd tri and the puking didn’t let up. Doc started me in Diclegis but it hasn’t fully stopped anything. It’s made it better, but not stopped it completely. I just have too much going on this pregnancy to be puking all the time

@bagowater some unfortunate souls have MS their entire pregnancy, and some develop it in second tri. However, absolutely let your doctor know that it is getting worse. Development of full blown HG in second tri increases some pregnancy risks, and you doctor needs a heads up.
Hopefully this will just stay at normal MS levels for you. I wouldn't wish HG in anyone at any stage.
@BarefootContessa I'm with you! April 30th due date here. I'm feeling forever late to the party! With my first I was due on the 4th of that month, so this is a strange experience!
Mama to Rowan Sebastian and baby boy coming in April!

I told my husband (he’s a nurse) and he said he has no doubt at all that I have HG because I’ve needed IV fluids about 5 times already. It’s still a piece of cake compared to the HG I had last pregnancy, but it is getting worse. I’m hoping it’s because it’s peaking and not a sign of the beginning of a new era.
