@meatballs37 wow that really is a lot to deal with. I'll say a prayer for you all. Has the doctor talked to you and let you know exactly what this could mean?
He wasn't sure about the the heart. But with the kidney, it could mean surgery on some renal structures on Baby A after they are born. It also could restrict his growth in utero. Which would be an issue because they wouldn't know if his growth restriction was from his kidney issue or twin to twin transfusion syndrome. The treatment for either or would be completely different. So we are just praying they continue to be within 15 percent growth of one another.

Thank you everyone for the T&P. I'm having a hard time sleeping tonight with all the info they gave us.
In other news, this insomnia stinks. Anyone else up? It's 3am here. If so, what is your fave insomnia snack. I've been eating cheese sticks and pretzels.

@meatballs37 I’m praying for you, your boys, and your family.
I’ve been up for an hour and tried not to grab my phone so that I could go back to sleep. No dice. I really want orange juice, but don’t want to get out of under my covers.

@meatballs37 sending prayers for you and the babies! That is a lot to process, how stressful. Also, hopefully you were able to get some good rest, the nights are hard over here too. lol I love to snack on bread with butter and jam in the night
Anyone else have teenagers? My oldest 16 yo ds is texting all the time! Before school, after school, in between classes, at work, during farm chores, etc. I feel it is excessive. He pays his own phone bill, and needs it for rides and stuff, but he isn't understanding why he needs to be present in daily situations. He is texting his girlfriend that goes to a different school of it matters...
@meatballs37 Praying for you and your little meatballs.
@mamaof5already I have a 14 yo DD. She's very introverted and I actually encourage her to text her friends more. (She struggles with depression occasionally, so involvement with her friends is helpful.) But my 11 twins just got phones and I can see texting becoming a problem for them. I'm not sure what the answer is. Although, when they don't get their homework done, I take away all technology until their homework the following day is done. That seems to work with them.
@mamaof5already My 15yo DD texts but it hasn't become obsessive. Last year I was more worried because she was texting and skyping with her friends every night (we live one town over from her friends and high school) but this year seems to be different. She's more focused on school this year and on her sports. She has new friends that are of similar mentality and the only time she uses her phone during homework is to communicate with her friends about homework. I'm glad she made the choice this year but last year we really had to be the heavies regarding texting until after homework, chores and family time. And no phone during dinner.

Well this is fun, I definitely have gestational diabetes. Darn you glucose test. And darn you extra weight that I had to do it so early. Anyone been through it before and have any advice?
I logically understand that it's best to know and manage it now for a healthy pregnancy, but at the same time...
I have to get with the diabetes education department so they can teach me how to manage my diet and do the monitoring -- pricking my finger to test blood sugar I think nurse said 4x a day. Boo to more needles lol.
@rainafire77, you should be able to go pee. I was told I only needed a full bladder for ultrasounds before 10 weeks. There is a whole lot of pushing on your stomach and it takes forever. Go pee now!
Terrible 2's saga continues. I dealt with this today for a few hours. That's super thick SPF 70 sunscreen that's impossible to get out. I don't know how she managed to do this while 10 feet away from me while I washed dishes. FTMs, this is what you get to look forward to! Haha
@Ashoes123 Oh nooooo! Omg isn’t it amazing what they find to get into? DS is only 15 months but already such a troublemaker. Hope you’re able to get that sunscreen out!

I'm officially on bedrest. So I will definitely be on the board more. Well at least as much as DD allows. She isn't quite at the spread lotion on the couch phase. But she can get into something in a split second.
