I saw it mentioned throughout different posts, so I know I'm not the only one dreading/experiencing HG this go around. I think it'd be helpful to have a separate check in for that, because it's not typical morning sickness.
I'm only 4.5 weeks, but I already have my Zofran in hand, ready to go. What worked for you all last time? This time? What didn't work, what's not working now? Any differences between this pregnancy and any previous?
Re: HG Check In
I am just shoveling food in nonstop!
@mileswithmyles I'm so sorry
ETA- I think it was Promethazine
Trying to make due without it since it hasn't hit me as bad this time. I was offered nausea medicine at my appointment yesterday, but turned it down since I was having a better day. Yesterday must have been a fluke because I felt sick all night and this morning so far. I called in to take them up on their offer for medicine. It's getting too hard to hide my nausea at work, much less be productive and drive safely. I haven't gotten sick yet, so hopefully I won't need the highest dosage and can wean off sooner this time.

Besides being sick 20-25 times a day and feeling like crud I think the hardest part of HG is feeling incapable of doing what's best for your child which is to eat and stay hydrated.
If anyone here is interested, message me and I'll give you the info to sign up. It's also been posted on the HG support group through the HER foundation on FB.
Has that combo worked for anyone else previously? I had to bust out the gatorade yesterday and it brought some flashbacks.
Also, did any of you with HG the last time around have boys? Just curious.
Last pregnancy I only took Zofran as a last resort. Has anyone taken it on a regular schedule? Like everyday? Is that fine?
Just living each day one at a time. I haven't been able to work for 3 weeks (I'm an L&D nurse). It's soooo hard with a 2 year old, my MIL comes over most days to take care of him.
Hang in there girls. I did this on purpose because those little babies are so worth it.
