  • @emmasemm. Eek!! So thrilled for you! I think you posted your daily while I was typing my comment to you. Haha.
Please keep me posted. Or we can PM if you don't want to add other updates in the dailies.  Rooting for you  <3
  • Hi Folks - This is my first time posting in this thread, so I might not be quite...right. lol!

Month/Cycle: I have no idea how to answer this. I swear I searched through the message board and couldn't figure it out. I have been trying for like 1-3 months ish.

    CD/DPO: 9DPO.

    Timing: ooh I know this one. I think -7, -2, -1

Testing: I'm using ovulation strips, no temp taking (will try that maybe next month?)

Typical LP Length: 13-15 or 16 I think

Rant/Rave:  I'm so tired. I have been on-call for my job for the last 10 days and I will be at work till after 7 today. There is not enough coffee in the world and I want to lay down. Also, its 90 degrees and we don't have A/C. I'm going to cry.

CS/Q: Mmm this one isn't in the mega list of acronyms and I'm too lazy to look at the TWW thread from yesterday.

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why? Hm, Right now I think I want to study how to be a beach bum or independently wealthy. Not sure that counts. I actually really like my job but I am le tired.
  • **lurking**
@emmasemm OMG I am so excited for you!! YAY! FX so hard. Please give us updates. All the positive vibes your way.
  • *lurking from wto*

@emmasemm You are most definitely welcome to post in TWW! And we expect updates  ;) So excited for you!

@mygoodlucycat welcome! Month/cycle is how many months and cycles you have been trying. CD is the cycle day you are on (CD1 is start of AF). Testing is when you plan to take a home pregnancy test, or if you have tested you can let us know you got a BFN so we can support each other. Note- we don't post positives in this thread.

  • @emmasemm

Thank you!! Ok that makes sense. So if I've been trying for 3 months and have ovulated each time it would be 3/3?

Testing! Oh of course! I have been testing with BFN each time! It's still early and I have some symptoms but it is probably in my head.

CS/Q That's right - thank you! I do have a chart at home from my ovulation testing. Because I'm not doing temps I don't think it's relevant to TWW.

Thanks ya'll. I appreciate your patience.
  • @emmasemm eek! Crossing everything for you! Please keep updating daily!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 21/4

    Timing: -4, -2, -1, O

Testing: Nope. I've told myself not until 9/30.

    Typical LP Length: 14ish

    Rant/Rave: It's Friday!

    CS/Q: Nope, just hanging.

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why? Honestly, probably accounting. I've become really interested in personal finance and would love to help others (hence why I'm a social worker).
  • @mrstmoose @dukestar5 @nitnat007 @mrsmiller8588 thanks a lot for all the love in the room! It really means a lot!

@mrstmoose one of my best friends from school went back to college about 5 years ago and studied accounting to do just that! I love how she is able to support people and give them the skills they need for life. They are in the U.K., and at least there it is still not normal to teach "managing personal finances" in school. My brother teaches maths for 11-18yos, and especially with his kids who won't make the grade, he focuses on maths skills for life instead and my friend goes into his school and runs special sessions.

@mygoodlucycat yep you would be 3/3
And most ladies here use Fertility Friend app/website for tracking, so you might want to check it out as then you can get the best advice from this experienced bunch

@emmasemm So excited for you! That is amazing that your little embryo is multiplying so beautifully. Hoping so hard this is your long-awaited BFP!
  • *lurking from WTO*
@BurlapandLace You don't need to put your chart in a spoiler. People just tend to do it because charts sometimes are big and take up a lot of space on the page. If you want a second opinion go ahead and post here or in the chart stalk thread. Btw, again, you don't need to use a spoiler, but if you do the way you create a spoiler box is you hit that little paragraph symbol and select "Spoiler" and then put whatever you want in there. It can sometimes get tricky on mobile though.
  • It's Friday!!!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 17/4

    Timing: Unsure?

Testing: None yet, trying to wait it out until 9/30

    Typical LP Length: 12 days

Rant/Rave: Had to drop my dog off this morning to have a small growth/tumor (benign) removed off her inner eyelid. Send positive thoughts!

CS/Q: Just using an app to chart.

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why?

Definitely Law. Wish I had gone that route when I graduated college, and also wish I can go back and tell my 22 year old self to do it.

I also was wondering if anyone here on this thread has tried the Ava bracelet?

  • @emmasemm  Fingers crossed for you! And happy birthday to Mr. Emmasemm!

    Month/Cycle: 3/2

    CD/DPO: 32/10

    Timing: -1, -4

Testing: Waiting to see if my period comes 9/24, then testing on 9/25 if no period.

    Typical LP Length: 12 days

Rant/Rave: Even though we had much better timed and executed sex I just don't feel like it worked this time. Last cycle I was champing at the bit to take a test, but this time I just don't feel like POAS unless I'm late.

    CS/Q: None.

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why? It would be a toss up. I'd love to get my Ph.D. in Leadership Studies because that's what my M.S. is in. But I've always been fascinated by real estate and criminology, so I'd have to decide between getting my real estate license or going to law school/getting a degree in criminal justice. Or maybe I could combine the two and investigate murders and then put the murder houses up on the market.

  • Thanks @zamora_spin ~ I was able to get my chart in as a spoiler above in my original post :)
  • @burlapandlace thanks - and well done for your first spoiler post. It took me a few weeks to find and use all the functions! Posting gifs was most tricky for me, maybe it just shows I'm old lol

@lm0729 fx for your dog today
If you search you will find a couple of threads on Ava. I have it and have been using it for more than a year, have to say no problems and made me feel secure with my temping. But you can't really use it fully standalone until they deliver the update of the app to include more features.

@mls6212 thanks and I really lol'd at the investigating murders and then putting the murderers houses on the market hehe

    @MLS6212murder houses!! :O I love it.

This is my first time here, so hello everyone.

Month/Cycle: 2/1 (last cycle was NTNP)

    CD/DPO: CD16, 4DPO (I think)

Timing: -4, -2, -1, 1, 3... I am sort of guessing with the days because I wasn't temping, I just normally track my cycles and CM

Testing: Going to try not to until 9/30 but really shouldn't until 10/6.. ugh

Typical LP Length: I'm going to be honest, still haven't figured this one out.

Rant/Rave: My rant would be that I wish I more more exciting/interesting things going on in my life right now so that I wasn't so fixated on this (hence being on The Bump!). My rave would be that this community seems really supportive and lovely.

    CS/Q: Nope

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why?
History! I studied public health and have had public health type of jobs, but really I studied the history of public health (I worked with a history of science professor on my thesis). If money or jobs didn't matter, I would definitely go study history. Probably something super esoteric like culinary traditions of pre-columbian Peru, or something that would give me the need to conduct research in a castle or ancient ruin.
    Lilypie Pregnancy tickers
  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 30/13

    Timing: -4, -1, +1

Testing: 3 clear negatives yesterday, Tuesday and Monday. Didn't want to see another neg this morning so I didn't test. AF is due today. If by chance she doesn't show, I'll test again tomorrow.

    Typical LP Length: 12-ish?

Rant/Rave: Got excited to make my own PSL latte at home from a recipe on Pinterest and it was TERRIBLE. Blech, I might be totally over the whole PSL thing now, since Sbux are too sweet and I can't seem to replicate anything that is decent and less sweet at home.  I guess I will just have to start making baked goods for a decent fall pumpkin fix.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why? I would definitely take just a ton of travel-abroad classes -art and history classes abroad would be awesome. I'd also really like to learn more foreign languages and learn to code.

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1 ntnp

    CD/DPO: 28/15

    Timing:0

    Testing: af due any minute

    Typical LP Length: 14-16

Rant/Rave: The last couple days of work haven't been so bad.

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why?
Um.... not sure. My brain hurts
  • Month/Cycle: 19/19

CD/DPO: Not too sure actually! I wanna say 12DPO at least.

Timing: Not too sure about that either.

Testing: SOON! In the next few days probably.

    Typical LP Length: it varies

Rant/Rave:  I have quite a few symtpoms. The most baffling thing is that my new bras are suddenly not holding me in properly anymore, even though I have LOST weight since buying them (when they fit perfectly. So if anything they should be too big now, not too small.) Been having headaches since Saturday nearly 2 weeks ago and nothing helps them. Had possible IB last week. Just making myself hold out a little longer.

    CS/Q: None

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why? Creative Writing or Psychology. I love both subjects, always have.
  • @emmasem So excited for you!!!!!  YAY!!  Sending you all the positive vibes during this www!  And happy birthday to your DH!

@mygoodlucycat  Welcome to TB!  I’m with you, I’d love to be a professional beach bum!  What’s your favorite beach?

    @mrstmoose Yay for Friday!

@burlapandlace Fx for you and your timing.  Either way, -1 and O are both good!

@lm0729  Sending positive thoughts for your poor doggie.  Eyelid surgery sounds painful.  Also, there was a recent thread on the Ava bracelet with reviews, check it out!

@mls6212 I love your idea to investigate murder houses and then list them.  You could also sell tickets for tours!

diadem_l  This is a really supportive and lovely community.  TB ladies rock!

@mrsinterweb  I’m with you…most PSL are too sweet for me.  But give me all the pumpkin bread, cookies, muffins, etc.  I’ll get my fix that way!

@sucha_brilliantstar  GL with your testing soon!

    CS/Q:  Nothing to stalk here.

GTKY: If you could study anything at university/college without any time or financial restrictions, what would it be and why?

I would go to school to be an animator.  When I was little, I dreamed of working for Disney and getting to draw and paint every day!
